The Entertainment Man Talk Show Would of Turned 10 Years Old Today!

Today would of marked 10 years since The Entertainment Man Talk Show started it's crazy adventure. Yes it is very sad to think almost a week and a bit marks 3 years since the series went from on a high note to a very low note as Larry and I wrapped up our very last episode taping ever in the history of the show not knowing it's future till June the very next year when the show went from on another hiatus to being completely cancelled and lost all episodes of Season 5 & 6.

Yes it still feels very much raw and there are days where I feel sad and feeling down. The reason is because I am thinking of the old show, the memories that I made with my friends, the laughs, the drama on set, but I will take what I learned as a YouTuber and take it to the Chris B On The Web and the way Operations run here in this one man studio of a studio now. I have spoken to my alumni about a mini reunion and it's going to happen hopefully this fall at some point and hopefully the studio is fixed up and looking better then before without the holes in the wall unit right across the wall. I am not making this get together a big deal but it is a way to celebrate the series success within the 4 seasons that are still out there to this day. I have said it before and I will say it again, I do miss my old YouTube life and the show all together but I am quite content with what I am up to this day now.

Memories I have that will never go away, that is something I will always have for the rest of my life. I wish the series went the full stretch to the 10 year mark like I had planned originally but if it wasn't for certain 2 people quitting, the show probably more then likely would of continued on but yet Everything About Reality TV Wouldn't be at where it's at to this actual day. But I cannot thank the Team I had throughout it's 7 year's of it's long run of a web series, they helped me with the filming and production of the series, without them non of the episodes would be taped.

My Favorite The Entertainment Man Talk Show Episodes!

I think it is time to talk about my favorite episodes on The Entertainment Man Talk Show and trust me I have a lot of memorable episodes doing the show but there are episodes that I would like to highlight in today's blog post today. Now it has been over a year and a half since the announcement of the series ending abruptly and Season 5 & 6 were lost, hence it's called a lost episode for a reason. Mind you, there is no particular of this list but it gives you an idea of the favorite episodes I actually recorded.

The first episode I would like to mention in this blog post is the York-Durham Railway episode which now is a lost episode, but I admit it, I had fun doing the episode and it was quite different and actually did very well in the viewer department. Now if the videos remained up, it would of been the series finale as there was no new seasons that came out after that season as you know it went through a lot of questioning whether it would continue on or not, which it didn't, I made that decision to end the series as the ideas were not too solid at the time and it was time to move on.

The next episode  that is on my list is the 50th episode, I know I have some behind the scenes of me yelling at my staff, it was pure frustration and stress planning a big event, but I've changed the way things are done. Overall the episode was a lot of fun, being in front of my friends and Staff and to celebrate it's 50th episode.

The 3rd pick I made was EP # 44 or 45 or somewhere around there where the lawn mower wouldn't start and I started cursing at it and I wouldn't be surprised if it got demonetized after I couldn't access the channel anymore.

Another pick, I have made, is going to the Hall of 1873 and having the honor of filming there with my team, well I was on my own, my dad had to do most of the filming and plus we were limited on time and more then likely unable to re-schedule with the theater.

The start of the cooking episodes is another moment, I will never forget and I learned a ton about cooking. I made the shish kebabs, chicken on a wrap, baked cookies and much more in the season later.

So there is a lot of episodes, I probably forgotten but these are only a a few that are on my list, if you followed me since those days, I recorded 76 episodes of the series and there are so many episodes that were memorable, honorable mention the St. Patties Day episode, the April Fools Day episode, playing cards, softball talk and many more. I hope you enjoyed this blog post as I enjoyed writing this blog post for you guys.

Have a great night!

My Favorite Moment's In College!

Today's blog post is about my time in College and the memories I have made at Durham College and the fun and great memories that I made during the 2 year program in the Community Integration Throughout Cooperative Education.

1) Becoming a part of my college's first visual radio station out there on the internet. I loved doing "Easy Rock With Chris" because I loved the music I played, music that was easy to listen to like Katy Perry, Coldplay, U2, etc.

2) Doing a few interviews with students in my program and even a tour of my locker. Had to do some video content for YouTube during the hiatus of my former web series, The Entertainment Man Talk Show.

3) Going To a University of Ontario Institution of Technology Hockey game aka the UOIT Ridgebacks game with a bunch of my classmate in the CICE Program. It was a fun but also exciting game to go as I have never seen the University level of Hockey.

4)  Got the chance to work out a bit at the CRCW on Campus and get back into shape while on campus and plus it gave me something to do between the long 2 or 3 hours between classes and my radio show on Riot Radio.

5) Doing my placements in two retail stores and also at the Oshawa Little Theater, which I loved working at the Theater and volunteered after briefly till December of 2012.

6) Larry and I becoming T1 & T2 (Trouble 1 & Trouble 2) talking snow on Liz whom is now the Liaison

There's my list of my top 6 memories of College and hope you guys enjoyed me writing this list on my favorite moments at college, I know I probably missed a pile of them but these are some of my favorite moments at college, but I truly enjoyed every moment being at Durham College and you never know I could make a return to learn something new to potentially start a career in my life!

Favorite Memories On The Entertainment Man Talk Show

I been wanting to write this blog post for over a year now and I can be honest I have been struggling to write this article or post for a long time due to the fact I am still year and a half later not all over the YouTube departure and it's not gone out of my head, I am not longer active making videos but I still think about the good times and I admit I do tear up from time to time and that emotion is still there but I can take with me the memories and if it wasn't for Everything About Reality TV starting on YouTube, I probably end up bored out of my mind right now but I am glad I started podcasting full time. So without further ado here is my list of favorite moments:

1) Cursing at My team at the start: This moment wasn't originally in the actual episode I added it at a later time as a Behind The Scenes and it was very iconic moment where my frustrations came out with so much happening at once and my staff at that time realize I was feeling frustrated.

2) Trying To Pick a Fight With Eric: This probably was the most funniest moments and Eric's smart alic remark at the end after he dropped the camera and of course that camera was expensive even tho it was given to me. I wanted to kick his butt on camera but he said nah, then he said on the next Jerry Springer! I can laugh at that now being years down the road.

3) Random Moments of Curse Words Spewed Out! (LOL): There is a reason why I put LOL in brackets, there are moments I use the s word, the f words and the remarks back to some of them have been classic moments.

4) Bloopers In The Show: The show wouldn't be what it was without the mishaps of me tripping, falling, messing up the script for an episode, CD player not working leading to hilarity on set. Trust me we had fun with the bloopers.

5) On Going Running Jokes: The mentioning of Shawn in the St Patty's day as Gordie said he has nothing green in his closet, I'm like except Shawn. He said hes green to the gills. Also when I got a lousy card during the Skip-Bo game, I said s*** and Gordie saying if you need to do that go into the house up the stairs door to the left... The middle names I came up with for Eric (Bearded Wonder, Texas Slugger), Justin (Justina, Justine, Old Grandma Justina), Larry (Larissa, Old Grandma Larissa) It was on going and even today I still got nicknames for my former staff and future staff member Jeff Lieberman (Jeffanah, Lieberfail, Liebernoob) It will always been a running joke and we have fun with nicknames.

So Those are my top 5 moments and I am sure there are more and it is hard to remember them all when I prep for the blog post but I hope you guys enjoyed this blog post and enjoyed reading my blog post about My Favorite Memories On The Entertainment Man Talk Show.

Have a great day!

The Truth Behind The Entertainment Man Talk Show!

There are things that I really never made clear as when I left The Entertainment Man Talk Show and YouTube career. I wanna make this clear to a few things that probably didn't seem real or I faked but let me say for the most part a lot of my out bursts at my team was entirely real, it was pure frustration with them, whether Eric said a bad word I said something or with me going off at them was pure frustration but the one thing that I faked was me tripping those two episodes but I cannot remember the exact episode numbers that it was but those two episodes were faked. The rest was purely frustration at times and trust me filming a talk show like The Entertainment Man Talk Show isn't as easy as you think and it was the most stressful thing I ever have done in my entire life and having to deal with some staff drama, no names to mentioned but that was another major factor behind it but that is the truth behind me supposedly tripping but it was entirely faked but me going off on camera numerous that was real. Some scenes like Gordie saying in the St Patties Day episode he would wear green but hes got nothing green in his closet. Of course me being a smarty pants like I am, saying yea except Shawn, Gordie saying hes just green to the gills, I just had to put in my 10 cents worth. There are memorable moments where something is said and it was an instantaneous comment that came out of my mouth or one of my teams that made a moment of laughter on set.

Now the last thing I want to touch on is why is there no longer Seasons 5 and 6? Well they are now lost episodes as they were lost as I forgot to download them when I decided to quit YouTube all together and go in the direction of podcasts. When I say they are lost, they are TOTALLY lost episodes and I feel nothing but bad this happened and if I had a time machine, I would go back in time and save all the videos and bring em back to the future or this present day of time. Regrets that Larry and I regret making is ending it after 6 seasons and move on with other things or start podcasting like I am doing sooner so that was our major fatal flaw we made. I knew the views were down anyways with the series and my channel pretty much died after nearly 10 years being on YouTube so no regrets leaving and I've been given crap about leaving but I've been with the platform for nearly that long and I was ready for change to be made, if people do not like it then then so be it, I had to do what I had to do.

My 10.5 Years As A Content Creator On YouTube!

Well I have been waiting for a long time to talk about my YouTube Career. This was a period of my life that spanned 10 and a half years and involved grinding out video and content.

The Early Years (2005 – 2008)

The journey began back on December 9th, 2005. I remember the date as I commemorate the auspicious occasion yearly. It started as I needed to do a project for High School. I was in my last semester in in school and I needed 40 credits to graduate with my High School Diploma. As someone with Autism I wasn’t suppose to but that is a different blog post for a different day. My teachers gave me an option to get the credits. I could either create a pitch for a new TV show or make a sample episode of a show. Deciding on the sample episode, I decided to try make a pardoy of The Amazing Race. But, as things tend to do in life, nothing went according to plan.
During my team’s production meetings, the we found some aspects to difficult so the plan changed to an entertainment show highlighting local events in Durham Region, Ontario.  So after the presentation in the class (which went amazingly well), my team and myself continued production on February 13th, 2006. At the time I was not on YouTube yet. March 19th, the project was on hold again. I ended up getting really ill and found myself in hospital for 4 days. The doctors had to perform a surgery to remove a blockage. I almost died for the second time in my life. This health blip put the production on hold until mid April.
Once things got rolling we recorded the 2nd episode and continuing on right through to the 16th episode the following year. As time went on, drama ensued amung the production team and our show, Durham Entertainment Today, only saw one full season filmed. Our second season was left with only 3 episodes recorded. The series stopped on January 10th, 2008. After more production team issues, I started up ‘The Entertainment Man Talk Show’. This was the start of my first ever YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/user/thedirector015 which still is online!

The Longest Web Series I Have Ever Done! (2008 – 2010)

The Entertainment Man Talk Show had a very successful 8 episodes. From the feedback, everyone loved the first season of the series on YouTube. That following fall, I renewed the series for a second season which had the longest running number of episodes at 42.  In Season 2, saw the expansion of the team and the return of the co-founder Eric of The Video Projects Team. We also grew the team by 3 additional staff members. The series saw another renewal for a third season.
For the first time in the show’s history, we got permission to film in a old firehall, a jail and live on stage for a theater performances. Season 3 saw a lot of on location filming during good weather. When the weather turned, we decided to stay put in the studio. Once the Season 3 finale a live broadcast finale on Stickam.com, ended I made the announcement that the series would go on Hiatus.
The Hiatus:
I took the hiatus to attend college and study pre-media. I was hoping it would help me advance my YouTube career. During the hiatus I lost the majority of my original team and gained 3 news people. Brent would replace the other camera crew that left the team and Justin would help me build the studio sets. I did a Bringing Back The Entertainment Man Talk Show at the Toronto Islands to get ready for my triumphed return. Also during the hiatus I did random updates and blogs and interviews to fill the void.

My Return & Final Years on YouTube (2012 – 2016):

I return to YouTube and The Entertainment Man Talk Show with really high hopes. A big stumbling blog was getting my audience back after being off the air for a 2 year period. During my time at college, I was introduced to better editing programs. This made the projects look better then they were before. We also introduced a full theme to the show at the end of Season 4. Season 5 and 6, Larry took over and did an amazing job until him and Eric quit and another staff member was let go. During June 2015, the last ever episode was filmed. There was plans for a 7th season but due to the team departing I decided to shut down production on June 21st, 2016.
It was at this time that I started to vlog. At one point, I managed to upload 600, maybe 700 days  worth of vlogging in a row. Why did I leave Youtube? There were a few. Mainly because after my staff left I just didn’t have the help I needed. It wasn’t because of hate or negative comments. I had very minimal hate but my departure from Youtube wasn’t because people made fun of me for being Autistic. I really didn’t care what people thought. My theory was that haters will hate. I am very grateful for my time with YouTube and learned so much about myself. Looking back, I have no regrets after leaving the platform.

Everything About Reality TV's 1st Season Coming To A Close | The Entertainment Man Talk Show Season

Cannot believe the first Season of Everything About Reality TV is coming to an end. The first official season of the recap series has almost come to an end and has become a sensation on my YouTube channel! Cannot wait to premiere Season 2 on June 2nd, 2016 the day after Masterchef US airs! Season 2 will be recapping Masterchef US 7, BB US 18 & eventually Amazing Race Canada 4. This all started as a test run and ended up having support from Amazing Racers like Justin from #TheGreenTeam and Krista from #TheCheerleaders. I am blessed this series has quickly won over the amazing viewership on the YouTube community and my small YouTube community of 41 subscribers and climbing!

Now with The Entertainment Man Talk Show, I can say I am ready to summon my camera crew and get filming the series as of tomorrow the set will be completed and ready for production in the week and a half from now. A lot of time, work and effort to the series has been put into the setup and planning, last things to do is finalize set, put the curtain decorations up, then the board and make sure its all setup and ready to go!

Pretty Excited | Christmas

Few things that come to mind with the Christmas season coming, 1) Finished everything for The Entertainment Man Talk Show except one last set tweaks. I am so ecstatic right now but in the same why a little emotional as this is my first Christmas without my aunt who passed away 8 months ago on the 16th of March. Not sure how I will handle Christmas this year, will i feel emotional? Will I feel fine? Guess time will tell. For those didn't know I was close to my aunt, before she got Dementia i use to visit her 2 times a week. Wednesdays for grass cutting and Fridays for a short visit. So you can see how this Christmas will be tough for me. So you can see i got mixed emotions right now. I don't get to personal usual in my posts but I had to bring this up.
