Power Rangers Podcast is On Hiatus!

                Hey everyone,

           My name is Alexandra and I am Chris's personal assistant. As you may know, Chris is currently away from his regular duties on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. Changes are being made and you probably seen some removal of podcasts and podcasts moved around but I will cover that at the end of the week updates as he normally does and it will be a bit longer. Anyways he is no longer on speaking terms with his Senior Producer and Co-Host and has decided to walk away from Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast for now and put it on a long term hiatus till hopefully things settle down and the two of them are talking things out again. For now we've put Power Rangers Collab into the Archive Page of the website and will remain in the vault till a final decision is made with the collaboration podcast. 

             At the moment the content is void, he isn't tearing up the contract but has deemed it void for now and if necessary can work out a new contract if falling behind. At some point Chris may work on the seasons at his own pace, hoping that it will one day return back to a norm but all he can do at this point is just move on with the projects he is working on which is Entertainment Man Podcast. He will be putting nothing out about this collaboration on neither social media or Entertainment Man Podcast at this moment of time. Also the #PowerRangersCollab will not be monitored at this time and will do the best we can to answer any questions but he will not be answering anything pertaining what happened. He is keeping that a private matter and only reason I am bringing this up is I would like you guys to respect his wishes but anything else he is open to talking about just mention or private message on any of the socials which are found at the right hand corner. I will speak to you all in the next post tomorrow morning.

I Know The Plan For January During One Of The Podcasts Are On Hiatus....

               After my visit with my Grandma and getting money from her for my birthday after I was refusing to take the card till next Friday when I see her once again for a visit for my birthday since I will be very busy. However that is besides the point but with that money I will be getting two things and one of the items will happen to be the Mix-Minus setup I have been talking about for the past year and I tried to get the right gear for the mix minus setup and now that I know exactly what I need I can order it and it will be through Amazon as I rather stay home most of the time then go out and buy the stuff that I need to get it and Google is my friend so I can check what I need for the Mix-Minus setup. I even emailed a store to get some extra guidance to what I need for the mix minus setup and another fellow podcaster friend has helped out a ton which is always greatly appreciated! 

 

                You guys will be seeing an new type of setup in 2021 and I am is excited for the future of podcasting and it will be an better setup. With Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast getting closer to hiatus I have already started to tweak the settings and sound for the mics and so far so good sounds amazing at this moment. I know the fact we're not on the hiatus yet but already started getting things ready for the big return and I know I have been very quiet on the plans moving forward and you guys will know in time what we are doing to the studio and the future of podcasting. This isn't just Larry and I but also Joe is helping out with the changes so we can actually and in meetings all day to figure things out in regards to this changes and getting ready to make these changes in February 2021 next year after Dino Thunder is completed and finished up. As I have said before, I know the date when I wanna return and the dates to catch up. I can say this-- next year will be a different from other years we did this collab. I am again not going to expose everything, I will in time however just got to start preparing for the New Year, big stuff coming, I can tell you guys that.

Rumors Going Around About Me and The Recent Hiatus Collab Podcast Announcement

               I know with the recent announcement of Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast going on Hiatus as of start of early next year due to our scheduling being wacky and non stop technical issues and yes I still am having problems and I will highlight some of our issues that we had in another blog post next week at some point and not sure when though but you will see it. Anyways, I have had emails from some of you guys that the reason there will not be any podcasts is because 1) We're waiting till June and 2) I am going to be on Big Brother Canada next year! Yeah, sure, for one I never auditioned this year. I admit I was going to but just had no time with the new podcast and Collaboration Podcasts and I wanted to audition. I know I have 15 days but with the state of COVID-19, I do not wanna risk myself getting the virus being in the house for 3 months. I know I'd be safe and production would take care of me but honestly it isn't worth it. I mean I can wait one more year unless that was an All-Stars season for BBCAN10. Plus I am one busy person constantly creating content for you guys and with this recent transition from my own Reality TV Recap Podcast Series to Personal, Business and Self Help Podcast.

              However, I give you guys credit, it is a very good cover-up why I would drop the podcasts while I am playing the Big Brother Canada game and it makes totally a lot of sense why a hiatus would be doable but I ensure you, I am not going on the show, not this season at least, I wanna make sure I continue to grow the podcast as it is heading into it's second season in January. Also the reason for this hiatus is to fix things with the collaboration podcast which again I will highlight on another post next week. It will be a long several months but I think it will be worth the hiatus while him and I catch up on notes and fix any tech issues. Anyways this made me laugh and you guys are putting ideas in the back of my mind when I end auditioning and getting onto the show down the road. Just have to make the time away from content and planning would have to go into that. Anyways I will see you in tomorrow's post.

Power Rangers Collaboration Podcast Definitely On Hiatus!

               So as you know since the start of this month, end of this month, Power Rangers Collab Podcast went on Hiatus and this is more of an update on this situation. Right now it is a communication issue and I took the last few weeks to really think about it and I know their on holidays right now but I asked them and i mentioned this in the last post earlier this afternoon in the late afternoon. This isn't looking good for the future of the collab with him and yes I said him and you know who I am referring to but again not trying to start drama. I think for right now him and I need to fix the communication issues we are having before we continue on with the collab and if we have to I am all for waiting for till the New Year to record. It is all about priorities and right now it is about us getting our communication and any other issues fixed, then we can focus on the collab podcast. Do not worry I am not letting this podcast go anytime soon. I am announcing the extension of the hiatus for now and when we are ready we will definitely be recording here in the studio but we are waiting for right now. I rather get the friendship back on track then let this craziness continue where it is just un-repairable and I do not need this to go to far honestly and lose yet another friend which has happened a ton in the last couple of days. 


                If it is in the New Year then that is what it is but if it is decided that nothing can be fixed then I will be definitely be making the announcement that it is has been cancelled and that I am moving on from it all together. I cannot think about the negative side of it right now. What I am going to do is I am going to continue preparing things for the next one and get a head start on the next one for next year as well this way I am way ahead of myself and all we have to do is record the podcast, then I edit and post it obviously! Either way I have a strong to quite strong feeling that it isn't over yet and we promised that we would be going all the way to Dino Thunder which we will be moving on to whatever if we choose to keep this train rolling and I think we will as I know both Larry and I enjoy doing these even tho we get together for them twice a year which is a very fair schedule as I am quite the busy guy with the other podcast. This break will be good for us to put our differences aside and try and fix the communication issue then we will be talking about the next recording session and it will be all ready to go by that time which is good I am staying productive between now and then. So yes the Hiatus is definite right now, but I am sure it will not last very long.

Changes With Chris B On The Web!

            There has been a ton of drama, with a podcast that was suppose to happen this fall, which will not be happening now as they host keeps either going on strike or quitting on me so I ensure you I will not tolerate anymore of that and it is now over and the decision to continue to keep on doing solo work with Chris B On The Web and ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. Also YouTube which will take a majority and why my crabbiness the last few days and why I haven't been active on social media in the last couple of days.  With the entire YouTube thing, I am not merely even happy with the website as I was being slabbed with copyright claims when my intro was royalty free and I was gonna do a rage post last night but decided not to due to the fact I would of said things I would of regretted. I have to be thankful for being on that platform for almost 10 years from 2008 - 2016 being short off 1.5 year from the 10 year mark when I joined. My intros are not copyright nor B-52's and the intro only runs at the beginning of the podcasts to intro the podcast and mostly ITS ME talking! Like what the heck YouTube! That is why I should of just STAYED Retired from the platform and that is what I am doing. I am staying retired and that channel is now gone. Don't worry Everything About Reality TV is still around but on Audio ONLY for right now... No plans to try another platform at the time. May stream video games on my extra time that's about it actually. 


              Now to the last bearer of bad news to this post, the Power Rangers Podcast you guys been listening to the past year now has been put on a Definite Hiatus as there is no longer a co-host. I have decided since this has happened I am now moving on but there will be other collaborations to come and I am sure people will be reaching out to me to collab for the website. I know Charlie and I have something planned for the old The CB Podcast back from 2014 - 2015, we have spoken and planning to actually do a reunion podcast down the road. Also a radio station and I been wanting to do a reunion podcast but that interest has gone away so it is on the shelf for now. However I am open to doing a collab podcast or one where we shoot the breeze on it or talk sports of whatever, please feel free to contact me on social media and we can arrange something definitely in the very near future!  With this change comes new opportunities and new podcasts for CBOTW and I am nothing but grateful for the opportunity to talk about my favorite childhood show for the short time it was on the air.

Putting The Power Rangers Collab Podcasts on Hold Again!

            With Survivor: Edge of Extinction and Big Brother Canada 7 underway now, I can officially say I am in a busy schedule now and which means the prep work for the Power Rangers Podcast is on  hold again which is disappointing to me and to you guys, but I have no time to be working on it and there is plans once Big Brother ends to start grinding to get it done but right now is not the right time or place for it. This is why I told Larry I was going to and planning on a hiatus as I didn't plan on this hiatus happening, I really didn't get planning ahead of schedule so I was able to record between Celebrity Big Brother US 2 and also Survivor and Big Brother Canada 7 where both him and I could of slipped it in there but I didn't and I should of scheduled things better as I knew March is usually the time him and I record the podcast but I have taken the extended hiatus from it and probably is the best move for me and it gives me a break from everything as both Larry and I have grind so hard and we sure as heck at this point deserve the break and least now I can focus on the task at hand which I am currently working on at this current time.


             However for right now my primary focus is on the two shows, the live feeds and the current season for Everything About Reality TV with 3 podcasts a week which will take time with recording the podcast, editing the podcast then getting it ready to be posted up in the evenings but like I said I have my tools and schedule when things are done and it helps. However, the Power Rangers Podcasts is NOT going away anytime soon. It is not over yet for the collaboration podcast as there is plenty more episodes coming just right now I do not have the time to do the prep work but consider this a break for now but plenty more to come. Maybe I will figure out a better schedule and timetable to releasing it and probably why we only record twice a year at the most.  However with twice a year, comes 2 episodes at a time which is great 4 episodes a year at the most. This week I will be doing a schedule diagram this way I know what is what coming out when and when to start planning, etc. So in closing in today's blog post, stay tuned to social media for updates on both Twitter and Instagram as announcement will be coming in the next 2 months to when recording is back into session and when it will be released as I can guaranteed it is going to be back very, very soon!

Got A Feeling Degrassi: The Next Class Will Not Be Back

         I know I did a post about this a while ago, but it has been a while since an update or me bringing this topic up but I just do not know if Degrassi: The Next Class or any kind of Degrassi will be back. It has been almost 2 years since a season aired on Netflix and Family Channel. Right now it is currently still on hiatus and it is not sure if the show will continue on or not. I know executive producers said they have already been brainstorming ideas for Seasons 5 and 6 so they are working on it but the brainstorming and planning could of been wrapped up by now and they are waiting on renewal. If you're wondering where I get this source, you can Google search it for yourself but it has been on hiatus for almost nearly 2 years as of this July so I am starting to wonder if it will continue now or not. Now the actors and actresses have grown up and wondering how they can use them in the series down the road. A lot of the cast has grown up now so it may be difficult but I am sure production does know what their doing and they sure can somehow work it into the story line as well.


            I know Degrassi has been around since the late 70's with the Kids of Degrassi Street, Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, Degrassi: The Next Generation and of course Degrassi The Next Class. It has been on air for a long time and I think it will not be going anywhere anytime soon as there are other networks and services the show can be aired on and I am sure Linda and Stephen will find another network to air it on as the show has been a huge success  for many years now and even the older editions of the show are still popular to this day. My question is why it has taken Netflix this long to decide to renew the series or not and why it has been on this hiatus this long. I am happy the fact they have been in the brainstorming stages to planning the future of the show and they are one step ahead getting ready for the future seasons to come. 


               However, I got a gut feeling that the show is not in the plans to return as right now it's all on Netflix to renew the series. Yes you have the company that produces and films the show but you have to remember for people to see the show it has to be on a network, for example when The Next Generation was out, CTV was the original network it was on up to the later seasons 12 or 13 and on and there is plenty of Canadian Networks up here it can definitely air on. I hope it does continue but if it doesn't it has been a great run it's had since it returned in 2001 and yes I am trying to stay positive and optimistic while the hiatus is on going. You have to remember it's been on air since 2001 so it would be going on 18 years in the fall.
