Sometimes Change Is Necessary!

             Sometimes change is necessary and with both Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps both out of the picture now which means more time for After Hours w/ Shane and Chris & The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies. Yeah, I've stopped the Reality TV Recaps yet it's clear as day in videos in my studio that it is still on our wall in our studio. That means nothing really... I mean there is one episode on the feed but that's it. I'm not going to say but that change was necessary as it was giving me problems like 2020, 2021 & 2022. 

            Entertainment Man Podcast, my pride and joy as the ideas were stale and also the trolls were putting me down calling me fat etc so I decided to just stop. Hey if it's not fun anymore then it is time to move on and exactly what I did. I am having a hay day with the TV and Movies with Larry and also with Bob. In fact, we will be recording a new episode Tuesday so that is very, very exciting stuff! Anyways thats the post, I need to get Corner Gas done and Hocus Pocus 1 & 2 done for this upcoming week's pocast recordings admist all the busy schedule this week and as always I will try and put out a post on Monday but if not Monday, Tuesday right through to Saturday.

Been on a Grind!

            I have found the time to work on The CBOTW Show more and more now with my other podcast wrapped up production after 5 years, 6 seasons and over 300 + episodes. Been able to work on both solo shows and shows with Larry and I and also Bob LeMent and I. However, I haven't actually messaged Bob for the next one and I will this week before the week is up so we can keep going on a role with things. I know there is so many moving parts when it comes to shows each and every week and there is going to be a lot of me on my own between Corner Gas and also Hocus Pocus as that is the plan for Larry and I by the end of the week. 

           So this week it will be quite a grind for me especially today and tomorrow. It was be a game changer for the podcast. I also plan on recording extra episodes in case for upcoming weeks that Corner Gas isn't on as it takes time to prepare, record and edit everything together. I will be working on the last Ghostwriter set of episodes for mid October to late October plus working on Halloween Movies and still deciding which one as of yet.  That will be on the Thursday slot when Larry and I aren't posting up anything. I know it sounds complicated and maybe once we record stuff, I will put a timetable on a post for you guys but that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Feeling the Good Positive Vibes with our Newsletter.

          Our newsletter has been doing very, very well. we have been keeping up with our analytics and honestly we need a specific time it goes out on Mondays. It is the best day to release the newsletter and the stats actually shows. Zoey as really done an fantastic job with the newsletters and very proud how far she's come with releasing it each and every week. She works closely with me so she knows exactly what transpires in the company and our community. 

          I know there isn't new people signed up and all we need to do is the PR work (Public Relations) end of it. Pretty much promote our Newsletter more and more and I have a few ideas I've thrown around to our Director of Operations and she agrees so stay tuned for that post to go up so we can continue to grow our newsletter list and the newsletter in general. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Website Re-Adjustments Continue...

         Archives are being reversed back to the old ways and we have deleted the 10th anniversary off our website and is no longer in the back end of the website at this point. Anyways we are eliminating anything that isn't necessary and our 10th was just about a year ago and our focus is on the content. That is the most important thing to us moving forward as content is key to our success and it has shown, look at the numbers for the month of September as we're over 100,000 views and it shows.

      Now we have moved "Archives" from the "Community" tab to the "Podcasts" tab. Why, you may ask and the reason behind it to fill a bit of a void as it looks bare and it is more fitting place for the archives that are now only focusing on archives for our former podcast shows. Small tidbit how this is possible and it is done with a table. It's amazing how simple coding can make things look really cool! Anyways, I just wanted to let you guys know of these major changes, even if it isn't really major but it is change. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

100k for the month of September! [Record Breaking!]

           History in the making! In the almost 11 years of operation, we have never had just over 100k (100,000) views on our website. It means, we have done things correctly and we continue to grow each and everyday and continue the grind together as a team. We've started to get a good rythm going and gotta keep going with that rythm moving forward. 

          We're also at 1.5 Million on our website and it's crazy to see this number and it is you guys we want to thank for the love and support you guys have given us over the years. I am not surprised by the massive growth on our website and yes we have some growing pains with shows being cancelled left and right but we are going to work with what we have with The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies then add in After Hours with Shane and Chris or Chris and Shane, that hasn't been confirmed yet but slowly growing.Anyways that is the post for right now and I have a second post coming out this afternoon and probably a video from here in our studio.

The CBOTW Show w/ Larry and I Beyond 2025

           I know there has been questions what the future of Ghostwriter is and we do not know. I know there has been questions when we will be back. It may not be till a year from now. I am sure I will be talking to Larry between the other projects that I am working on in the meantime but as for recording by end of October and that will be a wrap for Larry for a while. 

          Don't worry, we will be back in due time but I am not sure when and I am not going to pressure him or myself to getting back into things and this gives me a ton of time to work on seasons 2 & 3 and get ready for the next step of this. I know I sound like a broken record but we cannot rush things and the extra time will be good for me to work on things behind the scenes. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow and thank you, Zoey for covering for me last week while I was in the middle of a ton of chaos here.

My Decisions Aren't Always Concrete!

            I know my decisions are always concrete, Durham Entertainment Today; The Entertainment Man Talk Show; Everything About Reality TV & Entertainment Man Podcast all suffered with my not so strategic business decisions. I've been in the media industry for almost 20 years now and I am still making the wrong decisions. However, I am learning to make right decisions and I've been thinking things clearly and introducing things slowly was the best strategic move for us. 

            I am always learning from the decisions but I have started to know what's working for us and not working. Yes I could of gone to the end of the year for Entertainment Man Podcast but 2 weeks later and I know it was the best decision for us as I did feel like it was getting stale, week after week and that is usually code for it's time to move on and do other shows, other projects. I am nowhere near done with this company and 11 years is on the horizon for us and almost 2 months away till we celebrate our 11th anniversary. So YES, my decisions aren't always concrete but I know it's for a good reason and I know and has worked in the long run for us also. Getting into a Rhythm!

               Things have been very funky since Entertainment Man Podcast went off the air and I should of waited till the end of the year to sign off and I feel bad. However life goes on, we move on with other projects and we have a great lineup coming to you guys in October. I will get into a rythm this time around and get everything back in a rythm. Just will take us a bit of time and we are slowly getting back on track. I already have a plan and still in discussing the new show at the moment. 

               I know changing over shows or podcasts is hard especially mentally. I have struggled with that in the last week almost 2 weeks now but now we are on pace to get things rolling. We kind of have a timeline with our schedules and slowly introducing one thing at a time. We have Corner Gas already on the go, next is my solo episode on Tuesday then get Larry and I's podcast back in motion. Then try and launch the sister feed for The CBOTW Show, the "Reality TV Recap" divison of The CBOTW Show. Finally After Show with Shane and Chris start in October, hopefully. Been promoting it a lot lately to my followers and what not. Anyways that is the post for now, I will be back in 2 hours with another post.

Why do we have a lot of downtime?

            I know the lack of episodes and content compare to when we were on YouTube. However even if I am not at the computer I am always thinking one step ahead of the team and always thinking how we can improve and even post up some behind the scenes. The reason why we have so much downtime is because we are lacking in the content department. What Are we doing to rectify it?

--> Halton County Radial Museum; Videos, photos of my day out with my dad. 

--> South Simcoe Railway; Videos, photos of my day out with my dad. 

--> Try and do some occasional Saturday blogs if I find a ton of things to talk about.

--> Double up with The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: I know Larry and I haven't started to record podcasts together yet. I will try and fill in on Thursdays if possible. 

           Trying to make things up and get back into a routine is important as we head into adding the new After Hours with Shane and Chris, hopefully October. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Terms of Use will be Updated!

            My entire team and I have spoken and have made a decision to review the Terms of Use on our website. I think it is time to review and go through everything and make sure there is the correct tweaks and I believe it will be my Director of Operations, Zoey will be running that meeting as I am only the CEO but right now there is other things we need to deal with so it is kind of at the bottom of our list at the moment.

           Obviously this has to be addressed and something that is really missing from our list of things to be completed and we have had a lot more downtime then anything else which I will talk about tomorrow but still getting work done and we just make a list of what we need to do and put it into a priority list. We will let you all know when the terms are done and what we are looking at is setting each Terms of Use so we will need to go through the entire current terms. One thing we are going to do is put the date it has been updated. We have had enough of the drama and our foot is down on this. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you tomorrow.

Breaking News with our Podcasts!

            I know it's only been a day when it comes to updates but After Hours with Shane and Chris is indeed on YouTube but here is everything podcast related:

After Hours with Shane and Chris: Will be LIVE on YouTube on Fridays @ 7 pm EST, Episode posted on Sunday. There will be no shorts in regards to it, we haven't discussed that part of it.  More then likely it will happen to pump those who didn't hear the episode LIVE. More is coming soon, we promise!

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: Will be posting shorts on Mondays & Wednesdays @ 9 am/1 pm/3 pm EST. Shows are on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 6 pm EST posted up on Spotify Video/Audio ONLY Platforms. 

        Now here are the one show that is now ON HIATUS for the forseeable future as I have no clue what is going on and not getting any answers whatsoever from the host that is going to practically run that divison and the show is The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps Division. A lot of breaking news we have and least this is a good start in the right direction and we just continue to grow from there.
