Working On A New Page Here On The Website!

              I never really thought about this ever happening again EVER as you know the team was pretty much stripped down to me only on CBOTW and I have been on my own for the past 2 + years. With the addition of Billy to the list of podcasts and partnership with Rocky, I have started a "Team" Page here on the website. Now the page itself is now complete in the design with the text and images which took me sometime to work on as I wasn't really sure on the way to insert an "image into the table code on the website which is the way I formatted the website without using the normal builder here on the website so this page and majority of the pages on this website is all coded together minus the blog which is a part of the website itself. The rest of the website is made up of entirely code, html code, IFrame, CSS Code, you name it! Even the menu button is all based on code! Cannot say I built this website from scratch pretty much and if you ask me it sure as heck does look professional in a way and probably why the viewership has been up lately on the website so you guys are definitely liking the change that this site has gone through recently. Yes the team page has been finished and tweaked already so that is definitely a great sign in getting it active on the website.


                I know what you are going to say... Active? It's not even up and yes I do realize that as I had to do some numerous of tweaks and re-code to the page as some text showed bold so I re-coded part of that page and it seems to look really, really good now. The next phase is to tinker with the menu bar code which I know can be a royal pain in the butt to deal with but I think I got the concept of the menu bar code down.  So over this week I will be working on the menu bar and testing it so if anything goes out of sync do not be alarmed as I probably broke something on the website like I normally do when I build the website. Either way this newly fixed website does look very awesome and I have worked hard over the last few months planning and implementing the code into the site and building this new bar and I swear this probably will be the last time I tinker with the website for a very long time unless a new service or something happens on this website which probably will not be for a long time. Yes I got a plan in the back of my mind but you guys have to wait and see what I mean in the nearby future. When I am ready to release the addition to the menu bar I will announce it publicly, Facebook (Yes I got a Facebook www.facebook.com/ChrisBOnTheWeb) Twitter & Instagram and also here on the blog as well.

Menu Bar Update.....

                It is time for an update and honestly I have hit a snag in the road. Now I got the drop down to work, however, only Everything About Reality TV show and the collab tab is not showing.  It has been an uphill battle and I think it definitely has to do with the CSS code as it is not in the code itself that is build into the bar itself. I kind of put that to the side and why you currently see the old menu bar which stretches out to the right side right now but I am planning to get working on the menu but it will take me some time but it will be up and down until I figure the issue. I have an idea what is the issue but I will need to pinpoint the issue but hopefully it's an easy fix to the issue. I have already asked around and Quora might be a good place as the blogger forums wasn't much help so I am going to ask around. You have to realize this is the first time with CSS code and building something from scratch such as the menu. This is pretty intense coding I have to do but I am actually learning a lot about it too. I am a pretty fast learner too and have figured out how the heck to do things. However this is the first time, I have hit a snag in the road. I will figure it out eventually. I attached a screen shot of the issue I am having with it. Any website pros out there know why its doing this please shoot me an email via contact.


               Also the Podcasts page will be disabled as I will be using the Everything About Reality TV page which is already designed and ready to go. Also the current "Collab" page will be still active just moved under the Podcasts tab which will drop down.  Once it is completely functional then I will announce it on Twitter and Instagram when it is officially functional and ready to go I will let you guys know it is up and running. Any bugs can be reported to me via the contact page which you guys can send me an email through the contact page on this website. I honestly cannot wait to release it and it will open up the website and I want it to be more easier to navigate but I have the podcasts under one tab like I did on the original ChrisBOnTheWeb.com as I had it originally.  So I am trying to get back to the original roots of the website which I wanted to do but I didn't know how to do it but good old Chris (me) has done some research and have gotten places with it but that one issue so that bug has to be worked out before I release the menu. However that is where I am at with things, just hopefully it will be done by summer and the website will be complete.

Website Grand Re-Opening Announcement

          So this is the announcement, you have been waiting for, the actual date for the Grand Re-Opening of ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. I wanna say first, I was overwhelmed with the amount of viewers on the website, I thought you guys were going to crash my website entirely! LOL. But no, it went smoothly and ran smoothly throughout the entire day. Actually I left the website up late for those out in the west coast so they got a chance to see the website up and running and checkout what changes I have made to the website so I was being nice in that regards so those who didn't see the site who are 3 hours behind EST get that chance to actually see it. I am so proud of what the site looks like now to this day to see and I am so excited to re-open the site and incorporate it with the content you guys see to this very day. Yes this means collab podcast will be coming out soon and will be announcing it very, very soon to when that is coming out for you guys.


               The Announcement part of this post. This Monday, August 20th, 2018 at 6 pm EST, ChrisBOnTheWeb.com will be officially be re-opening and will be fully up and running for here on out. I plan on to continue for a couple of day later to monitor and make sure things are running smoothly but so far, so great it is running fine for right now. I cannot wait for you guys to utilize the website again and see other content that I am bringing to the website. Yes, as you probably realize The CBOTW Show is not around anymore, I have officially cancelled the podcast and Everything About Reality TV is the only podcast now. So with that the Power Ranger Talk is now a collab podcast and is a ChrisBOnTheWeb.com exclusive content and I am happy I made this decision.

Chatroom Idea Is Done & Website Updates...

                 There has been discussion between both myself and one of my Advisers for Chris B On The Web and it is clear, the chat is a no go. I had 2 individual's, which will remain nameless, but it is very much clear with the two both Billy and I couldn't continue to run a chat without help of Staff and Moderators within the website. I would of had Billy's help when he was free but other then that, It would be of just been him and I running things and I tried a chat for a few days and nobody really popped by, so I am making the decision that the chat is being pulled from the website. It is a tough decision to make but I think it's a decision that has to be made. If the chat isn't going to be active then why have it up and running? Right? It is the toughest decision I had to be made but I need pages to be generating views not getting 0 views. I am all about the views but I am all about listening to you guys the fans what YOU would like to see on the website. 


                    I think I want to focus on the CONTENT aspect of things and you guys can interact on the blog here which you have to login to comment as I keeping trolls off the blog post. Also Instagram and Twitter are another way to communicate with me or by emailing me via the contact page on here or the actual website when it does re-open soon enough. That probably is the most communication I can do with Social Media wise but my heart is set on focusing on the content on the website the blog. interviews and podcasts at the most. I am very much proud of what I have done to the newly built website and I ensure you it looks better then before. The Interviews and Podcasts pages have changed the way it looks now, it is more sleeker and I got rid of the black background but you will see when I open the site tomorrow for an open test during the day and you guys get to see what I did to change the website around. The website will be opening @ 10 am EST Thursday and will remain open up to 7 pm EST, when I will put it back into maintenance mode. The Re-Opening Date I am aiming for Monday, August 20th, 2018, 12 days earlier then expected!

Is This Is The Permanent Site for Chris B On The Web?

          I hate to use the word hate and also to bring bad news to you guys and I had something more on the positive side to talk about but will wait till Friday as tomorrow I have an announcement to make as next week I will not be here 4 out of the 7 days. But today's post is not so happy news. As you know, the last 4 months has not been the easiest last 4 months for me as there has been non stop problems with running a website and I've tried, time and time again to re-build and repair the website and at this point, I am just tired of trying to fix a website which one issue becomes a new problem. 


             The one problem that really ticks me off is the web builder works half the time and when it doesn't work it gives me that false virus message from my anti virus. Hostinger is connected with 000webhost and started thinking twice about renewing for another 2 years  and I think my mind is now made up at this point of time, I will be letting the domain expire and move on and just use this blogger page as my main page with the links on the podcasts pages will do for now and never know, I may explore the option of a website in the nearby future but right now, I have decided, I have had enough of websites at this moment and this is what I need to do what is best for me in the long run.


              Chris B On The Web is not dead, just end of an era with the .com website as the last 4 months has been hell and back and is done at this point. Don't think just because the website is not operation everything goes on hold. No secret I am still looking and trying to resolve any unresolved issues I may have with the website and I will not give up, I will trumiph this blasted website issue. There is no secret, I was going to be a bit more negative but held this off most of the day but glad I did as I have time to think things through before bad mouthing 000webhost and I finally learned I gotta keep my mouth shut sometimes, it does get me in trouble sometimes... LOL...

Website Announcement!

             I know you guys been waiting and waiting for this announcement but here it is! For those who didn't see my Facebook Group, Twitter & Instagram, well ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is COMING Back! That's right after trying to find another web builder to put the website on with the domain I already had since 000webhost failed me for the very last time after having problems and issues with them for the past 3 years now, I decided it was time to move on from 000webhost.  So many days went by as you know the original plan was to stick to this page, the blogger page that is but I dug hard and deep and finally found a provider that works this time around. Least now with this new provider, this site will not be sleeping for 1 hour a day, which means the website is now running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! No strings attached! 


              Also what is great about switch of providers is having my own email within ChrisBOnTheWeb.com which is chris@chrisbontheweb.com if you would like to reach out to me which is awesome no more using 3rd parties for the emails anymore, well minus my own personal email but I mean professionally, I have the .com email and I prefer this as a professional email system. I have already notified people who have contacted me in the past that this is my new email and any further emails can be sent through that one. I rather have a more professional email then what I had, the yahoo email for the longest time since 000webhost got rid of the email system they had. 



              Finally on today's post, I think my limitations are as limited to what I had before but this is a new start for me and I am proud to be where I am and knowing I do not have to pay for both the domain and the web builder by using the free builder site and only paying for the domain, so the provider I am with for my domain, I am more then likely going to be using them, renewing ChrisBOnTheWeb.com domain for another 3 amazing years with them. How long will the site will take to build it? Could take 2 weeks, it could take 3 weeks, depending how long it takes for me to rebuild it. I rather take my time with building it then rushing with the entire website and it is a half functional website.

Sticking To My Gut Feelings On Things!

                 I am inner twining all this website problems, into this post today. What do I mean? Well I know 000webhost Moderators on their forums are trying to keep me as long as they can but sometimes you gotta go with you gut feelings and that is exactly what I did with this entire 000webhost situation this week is figuring this has been nothing but a headache with problems with 000webhost and my internet, it is time to move away to another website platform and move to the permanent website by early 2019, so hence I am now on this blogger page till end of the year and the Audio ONLY Platforms for the podcast until I am able to move the website over to the new provider and get the ball rolling again. 


                 I know I have been questioned by my fan base and couple of the moderators of the Facebook Page but that's OK, they are wondering what is going on with the website and I made it clear on the video I posted up yesterday or the day before that I have taken the website offline till 2019 and this blogger page will continue to run as the main page for the time being and trust me ChrisBOnTheWeb.com isn't dead yet! It is making it's triumphed return in 2019. This website will be bigger and better then before. Like the lyrics of Power Rangers Zeo: "Stronger The Before...." Am I excited? Of course! I told you this year was the year for Chris B On The Web and so far it has been! from a potential interview to the birth of The CBOTW Show and the start of recapping Music City CMT this year has been fenomial so far and I'm far from being done with this year all together. 


                  What about Autism Celebration 2018? What will you advertise I will be talking about that on tomorrow's blog post the future of ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and what is to be happening to the website and the rough timeline. But nothing will change my mind on this decision, it is a business decision to temporarily step away from this website and I gotta think what is best for me at this point of time and walking away from running the website for now is what I need to do in order to figure out the next move that is coming and like I have said many times this year, I am moving the website to it's new and permanent provider within a month and hopefully it will be ready by Christmas or January 1st, 2019 which is my actual aim date but again I will talk about that on tomorrow's blog post. But yes I am sticking to my gut to what I think i right and I have absolutely no regrets on my decision. Either way you guys are getting the CONTENT, YOU GUYS want to see!

Why Do I Want To Go Back To School?

            There are a lot of reasons, why I wanna go back to school and I am going to talk about it in today's blog post, now that I got time to start writing blog posts earlier with the completion of the website re-building process. 


             The first reason I would like to give you all for the reason I want to return back to school is I wanna learn, I want to expand my education, I want to learn something that can help me get a job out there in the working world, even if I work from home in the long run. Now what am I planning to take? Well, I am planning on taking web design, as you all know I have been running a website since 2008/2009 and learned the HTML, Javascript and IFrame on my own via the internet and also YouTube as well. 


             The next reason I wanna give you is finding work here in Ontario and/or Canada is not overly great, it is a tough world out there to find work, I am lucky I had that 4 week job trial but unfortunately quitting after 4 weeks or the contract came to an end. I have made going back to school my number priority to eventually go back to school if finding a job doesn't work out for me.  What steps do I have to take to get to this step? well, I have to possibly go back to high school class for college English in order to apply to the program I want to take at a college but that's OK with me though. It takes baby steps and I know I can get through these small bumps and then move into the world of being a college student once again for the 2 year web design program. It would be our local college I went to for the CICE Program as it would probably fit me better, however I could do online studies from another college from Toronto but not sure if it will best suit me if I did online studies.


              I may have had not many reasons for going back to school but the one reason is to try and start earning a living, moving out on my own, being on my own, hopefully get a girlfriend one day. But the most important thing is I want to better my skills at building a website and learning new elements to building a website.
