Bowmanville Apple Festival 2025!

             Saturday back on the weekend, my parents and I went to the Bowmanville Apple Festival. We had a hard time finding some parking but we did find some after all which was really good news. I felt like it was the last year I would do the events in Bowmanville but we have a plan for 2026 when it comes to the two events moving forward. Anyways it was packed and I really love the fact it is a very packed event. 

           So many different vendors locally, Algoma Orchards, had a lot of Apples being sold of course Honey, Maple Syrup which we tried some and even we tried mini Apple Muffins which was awesome and I want to try making some here at home and I will let you all know how it goes when and if I do that. We also discovered a market that also has a cafe at the front and the market at the back with a ton of things to buy. I also tried Radish seed greens and it was strong and I coughed a bit but got it down. Also tried a dry rub for meat and had garlic and pepper taste and it was also good. We enjoyed the event and I look forward to the Royal Winter Fair next month and I will speak you all soon.

Halton County Radial Museum Story

       I know I haven't been the best with actually posting up here and there but I am still here and post from time to time but mostly the new CEO posts but that's not what I wanted to talk about. Back on Sunday I was at Halton and nothing really to report but got some tidbits what was going on but not my place to actually say but we were head back to the main station hub where we get all the streetcar and what did we see? A Porcupine! Of all things.

               I have never seen one in person before but mind you we were in the streetcar, # 4611 a PCC Streetcar and I was filming which was great and I hope the video works on here but I was lucky I had the camera actually rolling. This is why the vlogging camera should of been with me since the other camera is out of commission due to the zoom isn't working but was a cool story I had to share and I hope you guys enjoy it and I will talk to you all soon.

Podcast Pages Players back to it's Original Player!

           This is in preparation mode as we are seeing what we need to switch back to the old players and if I remember off the top of my head Everything About Reality TV & Power Rangers Collaboration which is in our Archives have the old players already placed on the page but we will check when we start adding back in the old players. We may have to upload some episodes or a bunch of them as we did take a break from that player but that's OK though. 

          We will explore everything and see what needs to be completed and it will be released at the same time once it has been completed. If you see some pages that are already done don't be alarmed, we will announce once all the work is completed. This shouldn't take too, too long honestly.  Once I get started in replacing the players, I should get into a good rhythm and it will be completed quickly but I need to work on some things first for next week or so, please be patient but that will be it for the second blog. I'm sorry no blog yesterday, was out of town and no time to write anything and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

After Hours a New Talk Show Since 2016?

             For the first time in almost 10 years, ChrisBOnTheWeb Media has it's first talk show since The Entertainment Man Talk Show. Yeah it's quite a gap between and as you know we have been busy with the podcasts in general, blogs, events and even streaming as well. I am excited to say this is history in the making and it was only the matter of time that something like this would actually happen. 

            Now I have been testing two platforms, however I think I am going to stick to the one platform, YouTube. I think it is just best to keep it simple and easy and leave Kick for streaming, so I am figuring things out on stuff and I think I know what I will be doing. There will be achives in case YouTube pulls us down and we will be sure that never happens. Anyways you of course can listen to the show after it airs on the YouTube Channel and also on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com, just our website there will be no chat on our website, you will need to have a Google account but we haven't gotten that far into it but YouTube is the primary focus. Anyways that is the post for now, there will be one more @ 11 am EST on top of the other blogs before the podcasts come right out for you guys but I will speak to you then.

More Major Work to be done!

              I know, I know! More work to the website? Just to the podcast pages for the following Podcasts: "Entertainment Man Podcast" "The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies" & "The CBOTW Show- Reality TV" all need the old audio player we once had at some point. However the Discord server is finished finally and I am very happy and content with the way the server is so now I can move on to other projects and as always please report any bugs on our server if there is any and I will check the issue at hand. 

              The other work that needs to be done besides Ghostwriter is Hocus Pocus movies for next week to record hoping Larry is healthy again as he's been sick quite a bit lately and I need to make sure my co-host is healthy to record. Also will be working Thursdays two episodes along with Entertainment Man Podcast as it's a rainy day here in Ontario so I am in my studio majority of the day may step out in the afternoon to spend time with my parents but we will see. If I have time by the end of the week, I will even work on Corner Gas editing, Ghostwriter editing and by golly even work on Building Bridges. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

South Simcoe Railway 2025!

        It was that time of the year once again for the annual trip to South Simcoe Railway with my dad. Now I am not 100% sure but I do not remember going last year but I think we did but it is just hard to remember so far back, a year ago when and if we were there but it was different for us as we had to wait like 3 - 4 hours for our train ride as they were booked up on the 1030 am & 1 pm EST trains so we were hovering around town for several hours and mind you, I had my blue t shirt and jean shorts on and it was hotter then you know where. 

      

       Anyways, I made due with the clothes I was wearing and we had a fantastic time. 1948 Diesel Locomotive #703 pulled and pushed us. I never knew about this diesel that it was originally a shunter diesel hence the flat back end and I know this seeing CPR and CN in the yard at our GO Train station here. So I got a but more history. Also I was near the rope by the shop where they are working on the two steam engines, # 1057 and 136, the door was open and what do we see? 136 in the flesh. Boiler door open, ready and they have been very active with fixing it up and looks like they've been cleaning it too and keeping it in good shape so my dad and I are hopeful for it to return to service soon. 1057 is awaiting restoration and work to be done at this time. Not Doing Seasons/Episodes on The CBOTW Show for Now....

            I have literally given up on doing seasons and episodes and it is easy for us to do that but we may down the road add in the episode #'s when it comes but seasons it isn't really possible to do but I think it's best to leave it blank but I want you guys to know how many episodes we have done, I don't know because right now I am rambling at this point and completely not able to cohearently talk like a normal human being but at this point I see no reason to do it at this point hence it has been since left empty.

             I somehow think I ended up putting the same number so it doesn't seem to add it to the amount of episodes and plus we schedule the posts way ahead of schedule and kind of the format we want to do technically. Anyways for now I will leave it as it is for now and we will see where we go with this beyond and bet you anything we will be checking all the episodes and renumbering them, however that is the blog post for the week, have a great weekend and as always, I will talk to you all on Monday!

I think our TOU (Terms of Use) Needs to be Updated, PRONTO!

              I definitely think the Terms of Use needs to be updated as we have had an good amount of trolls and bots in our community and yes I am referencing the Discord with the stupid spam from bot accounts. This has to stop and I had to remove the pinned post on X and pin something else that is more important to us which is Entertainment Man Podcast. 

             So our terms of use really needs a a facelift, more update then anything else in the world. So the the team and I will be discussing and updating whatever needs to be done and we already have worked on it and working on the server as priority # 1 for us as there has been issues. Mainly the only thing that needs updating is the Discord TOU as we list everything with the current rules. So that is priority # 1 to get a new and improved TOU. Anyways, I realize I am late with the post and that will be the post for today and as always, I will talk to you guys tomorrow!

Have Been Making Some Changes to CBOTW Media...

           The decisions that we have made has been good decisions:

No More Kick: I have gracially RETIRED from gaming streaming and regular casting sites to focus on the podcasts which we now have 3 running and I will talk about that tomorrow with the schedule being revamped moving forward with an even better schedule.

Entertainment Man Podcast: The beloved podcast makes a return to the airwaves after a month of being off for a shortened 7th season with it returning for an 8th season in January 2026. The podcast will remain on Audio ONLY moving forward.

Discord: Revamping everything and reviewing the rules of the server including our roles on there as well and how we continue to do things till I am happy so it's an on-going project at the moment. We've been dealing with a ton of spam on our server at the moment.

Website: The website has been updated numerous time and we are merely doing that till we are ready and at this moment we are on track for January 2026 of our 3rd podcast in our network that is being added. 

           Anyways those are the changes and I hope you have a great night and I will talk to you all in the morning for another blog post.

Fighting to get my Facebook Back!

           I continue to fight the good fight and try and get my account on Facebook back and if we remain banned then it is what it is. It is out of my hands and I found an email and i reached out but haven't heard anything back as of yet but fingers crossed but if it is not destined to get my account back to manage our page then it will be abandoned unless they delete it but we will see. 

            If not I am not totally sure if they will delete the page and there is no way to message everyone to follow me elsewhere but the matter of the fact is I am trying to get back where we once were at and if we were to get access to the page and my account including the old chrisbontheweb Instagram, I would keep the current one without the bots following that page whatsoever, I would actually remove that instagram so I can focus on our current CBOTWMedia.
