Let's Talk Special Olympics!

           Big shoutout to my friend and fans of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media for this idea to talk about Special Olympics. Now I have quite a history with Special Olympics. This started all in the late 1990's around 98 or 99. I was a bowler and I bowled for a very long time up to around 2012 when I ended up quitting bowling all together. 13 years on Friday nights that I bowled and I am still talk to a lot of peeps from that group and run into here from time to time. I was a good bowler, my highest game was and still is 228 at this moment. I did a lot of tournaments and was actually close to provincials once which I am very, very proud of that and I almost got a metal in Coburg Ontario at their tournament.

             Now in the summer time, I played softball with 2 teams. First started in May 2003 and I played with the Falcons for the one season that was shortened due to an medical emergency where I was taken to the hospital and had to have 2 surgeries to practically save my life. Then in 2004, I was on Delta Force from 2004 till 2011. The last year I was asked if I'd go back for one more year. Plus at this point I was hurting with knee issues at the the moment. At the end, I was riddled with problems, knee problems, wasn't able to hit the ball whatsoever. In 2012 I joined the Eagles for one season after one year off which I really bounced back with the hitting and overall year was amazing up to Midland when I was riddled with knee issues but I prevailed through the issues but I was emotional knowing this would of been my final year of ball cause of problems.  After the amazing final season I played basketball. I was on the low team and I wanted to stay on the low team anyways and help the other players and I always wanted to setup plays for baskets so you can call me the playmaker of the team. The season was shortened in the late winter into the spring when I was given orders by the doctors to not play while I was in physio to correct the issues. So that ended my sports career in Special Olympics and I hope you all enjoyed this story of my journey with Special Olympics and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Content Schedule Is Being Adjusted in 2024!

        With 2024 slowly coming to an end... We have changed the schedule for 2024 and please note changes are in bold and italics:      

Sundays: 1 pm ET: Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY) Not being affected for 2024, same schedule as before. 

Monday - Fridays: 11 am ET: Daily Blog Not being affected for 2024, same schedule as before. Only change is Saturdays being added to the lineup.

Wednesdays: Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY, Posted ONLY) Only change on this podcast it is being added to YouTube so the podcast is fully on YouTube 

Friday's (Every second week), 1 pm EST: The CBOTW Show- TV or Movie w/ Chris or both Larry and I. (Audio ONLY) This will be a rotation between my solo episodes on this podcasts and Larry and myself 

Saturdays:   11 am ET: Blog post Been tested throughout the last year or two and has become popular enough that people want it back. 

                    Time TBA: (Sporadically): Facebook Stream

The CBOTW Show will be sticking to one schedule and rotate with Power Rangers/Movies and other TV Shows with Larry. This is a better schedule. I wish we could put this schedule into affect immediately but we have a lot riding on us this year first of all so the schedule right now is SPORADIC. This is a better and more solid schedule moving forward and it is important to have a more solid foundation moving forward and everything was clumped too close together. Excited for the necessary changes we need to continue to be a successful Media group in 2024 and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

2 Week's Till Our 9th Anniversary!

           2 week until ChrisBOnTheWeb Media's 9th Anniversary. It is crazy to say this is a reality because almost 9 years ago we were just embarking on this journey actually. I know you guys are wondering if we will have anything celebration wise and we will. I plan on actually jumping on Facebook and Instagram Live to chat with you all and see what's up and answer questions and basically hangout. I might make sure my phone is fully charged and I will actually do it off my phone so I can even bring you guys up on camera to chat with me. This will be going on starting at 6 pm ET to whatever time depending how many pop in the chatroom. 

           I am not going overly crazy with 9th anniversary this year. I am going to be leaving that for next year as next year will be definitely bonkers for us being our 10th anniversary. However I am excited that 9 years is coming up and we will be a year away from a decade of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media. I never would think in 1000 years we'd make it after the ways things ended with the previous team. I am impressed we stuck through it out this long. I certainly have an amazing team behind me that got me to this point in this journey. It is definitely a team effort in the end. Anyways that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

The CBOTW Show Future on YouTube?

           As you may know we've been conducting polls that has made us really think about things. One of them is this blog which is changing as you know, but the other thing was the move of The CBOTW Show, with two podcasts currently on the move at this moment, it is remotely impossible for us to work on two channels from week to week. The other thing I want to add to this post is The CBOTW Show is every 2nd week and isn't in my criteria to make the move to YouTube. I know I could ask my team to help me run it and all but I already have Entertainment Man Podcast's channel to run at the time. 

            Whenever Entertainment Man Podcast stops which I am NOT planning to anytime or any day soon but if it was to happen, I'd consider going weekly with The CBOTW Show and then I'd actually consider actually doing YouTube as an option but for now Entertainment Man Podcast on both YouTube/Audio ONLY and this podcast The CBOTW Show on Audio ONLY in the meantime as we continue to build up the amount of episodes each and every week we post episodes to both of the podcasts. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [10-27-2023]

           It is time for the end of the week updates and it has been a very interesting week for us. Chris has been trying and trying to get Power Rangers done so him and Larry can start recording again and finish off this journey but the issues are still riddled with problems so he is going to be working on it this regardless no stopping nothing going to watch the series. This has become a priority as the podcast has been on hiatus for nearly 5 months now. We've been asked where is the podcast and we have had to give the same answer that it's on a hiatus. Even, I do not know what he's thinking but it is being worked on. 

               He has been weaving in and out of Entertainment Man which has an interview today @ 1 pm ET. I look forward to hearing this interview on his podcast this weekend. Will be a tight schedule for editing but I know he is definitely up for the challenge. Our ChrisBOnTheWeb Media Fan Page is now at 75 followers. We thank you all for the love and support you have given use over the years and please continue to support us as we continue to grow and evolve with our podcasts and content. Not Letting My Frustrations Get The Better of Me.

           I know ChrisBOnTheWeb Media has been a very frustrating thing for us and I will talk about two specific things today. First is AdSense, as you may know our income comes from the website and what is most frustrating is we've earned a penny here and there but after the month they should move it to the earn column. They tell us to not click ads and I don't, I don't actually see the ads I can't click on anything so it makes no sense. However the second part is the internet in the studio as our internet went in and out along with out TV too so it's been frustrating for us. 

         However I need to remember to not let the frustrations get the better of me. This is something that I cannot control, which I meaning the internet issues. I don't even think we can have a wire from the computer to the printer but the printer relies on us using the net but sometimes it's beyond our control. Now as for the AdSense issue, well that can be fixed actually. I could find a way to contact them about it and ask em why they've removed my pennies I've earned. I could also just let it go and keep grinding away. I think that is the plan moving forward but that is the blog post for today have a great weekend as Mark will be doing the "End of The Week Updates" and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Getting Into a good rhythm with the schedule!

             The scheduled podcasts have been starting to flow a lot better then normal even though I'd like to actually have The CBOTW Show edited by Sunday night by mid day Monday but in time that will happen. I have to remember Sundays I have the premiere for Entertainment Man Podcast plus having to record The CBOTW Show so it is a bit difficult but hoping this weekend to get into the rhythm of things and finish off the month of October strong to quite strong as winner of Big Brother 10, Dan would say. 

           Also I am still not on the proper schedule for Wednesdays which is normally the bonus episode of the podcast and regular but this week is a bit different as there is no bonus episode this week and there is an interview scheduled for Friday so it's different for this week technically. But I know I will have it all done in time for Friday and Sunday as I'm in a very good rhythm right now and more time to work on Power Rangers a bit more. However it is important that I keep this good rhythm going moving forward and Wednesday will be a day for me recording Friday's episode which won't take too long to record and edit depending if I end up recording over 30 minutes long. Anyways that is today's post and I will speak to you all tomorrow.
