End of The Week Updates [03-18-2022]

                  Another week has gone by and I got a bunch of updates to tell you guys on top of some interesting opportunities that has come up for me but here are the updates:

Website: As you all know there has been changes made to the website this week which the first update is YouTube link for Entertainment Man Podcast has been removed off of On Demand and the channel has been deleted all together.  Also The CBOTW Show page has been brought back which has a bio since there isn't any known archives for that project as I changed it and it has been added to the Archives. Speaking of Archives I made it so below the image is the years the archived podcasts were on the active list which meant the entire archives had to be re-coded all together which is a basic HTML table so it was easy to put together in 30 minutes. Also the contact page now has a help that is open during the week in case you have general questions about ChrisBOnTheWeb. We all need time off so the chat is open only during the week with weekends off. Chat will open at 9 am, EST every Monday and close at 6 pm every Friday then off for the weekend and open on the Monday if that makes any sense to you guys.  Chat is open as of yesterday. 

The After Show With Amy: As you know Amy had an emergency and I had to fill in this week for her which was a ton of fun to be quite honest. Was an honor to fill in and actually do it live. This week I setup the stream and it had quite a good response especially pre-stream with 4 people waiting for the stream to start. Actually it stayed that way majority of the 24 hours the stream was waiting which is incredible that people wanted to see it and I see exactly what she needs to do so when shes home and better we will be doing some tech with the channel to get her doing them live cause its proving to be the way to go. 

Podcast Opportunity: I am going to be on Emo Dojo Podcast tomorrow at 1 pm EDT/12 pm CT/11 am MT/10 AM PT it will be just Audio ONLY and when it goes up I will be sure to be sending it out to you guys to have a listen. This is a great opportunity and excited to go on tomorrow! 

                That is the updates for this week, I have come up with a ton of new ideas for the blog moving forward and excited for you guys to read them and excited what great content I have for the website here. Happy St. Patrick's Day 2022!

                 First of all, Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all! For the first time in 3 years I am actually going down to the local pub nearby me for St. Patrick's Day with my dad which is a tradition with him for the last several years and I plan on having 2 things, whiskey on the rocks and maybe just maybe a green beer perhaps but we'll see how I feel. Also what I am looking forward to is actually having some food as the last time I ate there was the day after my birthday but with my dad I haven't been there since 2019 was the last time and if I remember correctly it was for my neighbours 60th birthday if my memory serves me correctly that is the last known time unless I went in January or February 2020 but I really do not think I did honestly. However by the time you guys see this I am getting ready to go down to the pub and enjoy my time with my dad. 

               Please remember if your going out to celebrate St. Patrick's Day to be safe and drink responsibility and get a cab, uber back home. Be sure to stay tuned for pictures on social media as I will post pictures as I take some and first pictures on St. Patrick's Day's in 3 years. So that is my small post update for today, I ensure I worked half a day today and decided to take a few hours off so I can enjoy my time with my dad. Gaming Updates! [03-16-2022]

                 I have been playing a bit with the video games and can give you guys a bit of an update. Three game updates I have, Minecraft, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth and Luck of The Landlord:

Minecraft: The 3 main houses have vines and to be honest I may have said that before LOL. I do not remember the last time I did an update and been a while maybe before the New Year at the most. I can say the Office building is for the most part done! I probably will get back to adding more levels eventually but right now it is a 7 level office building and it may be the biggest building in Minecraft history but I'd have to check that out. Also out front is a small village that I am currently building and it is made from entirely from wood and the plan is to build a monster city eventually of houses and what not and not everything will have villagers some will and I'm sure it will be wide spread I'm sure.

The Binding of Isaac Rebirth: I have beaten with Azeal in Greed Mode which is really, really hard and something that I thought I'd never do in my entire life. I have actually unlocked Lillth which has a floating item that shoots out tears and that is the only thing that shoots out tears so it is quite a tough challenge but still working on it.

Luck Be The Landlord: I have gone pretty far about 7 or 8 out of 12 at the most and I am going to actually beat this first level as there are a ton of levels I can do after this and excited to when this actually happens. I seem to be playing this more and more lately.

               That is my blog post for today with video games update and I will be sure to do another update when I get another update on video games as I rarely get to play games as I am always working on content and need to take time for myself and play video games. Fornite is a game I need to get back into that eventually. I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Meatloaf With Rice, My thoughts....

               Last week or was it the week before that? I do not remember honestly. However I did not know there was rice, I saw white chunks in the meatloaf and my thoughts was nah it's just big pieces of onion in the meatloaf, I never thought anything about it until I saw a bowl of cooked rice in the fridge and I asked my mom what it was and she then told me it was in the meatloaf.  Which mind you the rest of the rice was used for fried rice later on in a day or two later. However now that I think about it, really it was good and something different and there is other amazing ways to have meatloaf and this one wasn't bad whatsoever. Again remember I didn't know this till 2 days later that this was added to the meatloaf.

             I can be honest this could be one of my favorite way to do meatload moving forward but hey we're trying recipes my mom has in her handy dandy cookbook. I never thought rice and meatloaf would be a good mix but hey it was indeed a good mix and I enjoyed it actually. Anyways I am always up to trying new things especially still being in this pandemic still despite things are slowly going back to more of a normal. That is my post for today, it was smaller then normal but at least you get a post and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [03-11-2022]

                Another week has gone by which means time for another end of the week updates. It has been an odd week but we have gotten things done promptly and I think we are on the right track with production of all 3 podcasts. I will explain below:

Website: The Team page is now back and regrets changing it about originally and should remain the same. Amy's audio only has become pretty much active now. Also as you know Power Rangers Podcast had it's share of issues and it is now on it's own dedicated page to Power Rangers Collab page which is the name but currently is hiding under Archives page at this current time till Larry and I decide what's next. 

The After Show With Amy F: This is Amy's full week on her own podcast which has been very interesting say the least. Trying to make sure shes good and comfortable with recording, anaswering any questions, teaching her how to edit the podcast and what not and we honestly ran into some tech issues most of them me not being clear to her enough but that's ok we got it all worked out. Also I sort of screwed up the intro a bit but she witnessed me changing things around for herself and how  I do it and she was shocked how fast it was done for a voice over. I am a simple kind of person. I hate to make things more  complicated as they are. 

Power Rangers Collab: just under 2 weeks and Larry and I will have a plan and idea to when we will be ready to record again and we are waiting on an update from the government weather mask mandates are done or not. kind of one of the reasons why we suddenly held off. We were planning to record yesterday but Larry double booked so I cancelled plus I was going out in the evening anyways. Wasn't going to cancel that for anything in the world. We'll let you guys know the schedule coming up  is going to be like. 

                 That is my updates for the week. Not too much to report minus some tweaks and changes and getting adjusted with a 3rd podcast within this amazing network which I spoke on at length. Weight Loss Update [03-10-2022]

              This isn't really an update, it's more of where I stand with losing the weight. I know it's been many, many months, maybe even an year since my last update that I have made. I can officially say that I have gotten down to the 222 - 224 pounds mark with my weight loss. Since then been either up and down or maintaining the weight thus far and I know if I wanna make my goal of 175 weight then I really need to work on losing and fast but it won't lose itself. I need to continue to cut back what I eat, less sugar etc. My goal is to get to 210 or 215 by Summer.  Then I can go on to 200 then 190 but ultimate goal is 190 by end of the year. then that leaves me with 15 pounds more to lose. That is the goal updates and it is hard to lose weight during the winter season and especially being locked up at home most of the time and the same routes for walks don't seem to cut it anymore.

               Anyways that is my small update on my weight loss. I plan on doing one once a month at the most. Not planning to do it too often as right now things are slow but maybe just maybe when things progress I will end up losing a lot more. Also with me returning to being with Eric as of Monday next week, this will prompt me more exercise and more being out and about and maybe this will help me get inspired to get out on bus rides more moving forward. Old Spaghetti Factory Review

                This was going back at least 22 years ago this actually ties into the review I did about Mamma Mia Musical on stage. Because before we went to the show, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner and I remember they have or had an old streetcar that you can sit in and I believe we sat in one of those for dinner if I remember correctly. I probably had something simple for dinner like Spaghetti and Meatballs with Garlic bread but all I remember it was soooo good! I've been thinking about this for a while wanting to go back if you think of it I was like 12 or 13 years of age at the time and in 8th grade so talk about major deja vu honestly. Food was awesome I can tell you that and I really enjoyed the food, I'd give it a 10 out of 10 all day long.

                  I know it's still open despite the pandemic which is great as it has become an iconic place to eat in Toronto and still open and running in Toronto so post pandemic I need to make a trip back there and try something different on the menu and it has been a very long time since I was there last with my parents and maybe if theirs a show we go to we could definitely go back but amazing food and a amazing experience when it comes to the Old Spaghetti Factory. I highly recommend it if your in Toronto or visit the city at anytime, especially if you love pasta like I do it is well worth the visit. Happy 2 Year Anniversary Entertainment Man Podcast!

                Today, Entertainment Man Podcast marks two years on the podcast and what a crazy adventure it has been with this podcast!   I am nothing but proud of this podcast and everything it has been through. I know there has been 2 hiatus's on the podcast but with it now permanently back up and running as one of the main regular series across the website and other Audio ONLY Platforms. The first two seasons I did had one interview but up to this year, I have gone almost all interviews with at least 3 episodes that hasn't even been an interview which is fine with me to be quite honest. I do not mind it at all doing an interview every week. It really has made things a lot more interesting for me to be quite honest and I've had so much fun recording em and creating conversations with people every week. 

                I know requests have been flying in and I will make sure to answer you guys as quickly as possible but remember it's a weekly podcast with bonus episodes every second week.  I think the reason why the podcast has been around for 2 years which is now 3 seasons is because you guys continuously listen to the podcast and I have come up with so many great ideas with the podcast. I was originally was going to do a podcast about it but since it isn't on a day the podcast goes live publicly so I have decided to make a post instead and keep at the task ahead as there is some clearing up I need to do this week with a recent topic that will not be removed as I am leaving the Transition to YouTube episode up on the Audio ONLY platforms despite I made some wrong choices recently. Blog Viewership and Updates

                 I know the blogs were popping at one time and now I feel like their starting to slip in the viewership and as you know Amy popped on to the ChrisBOnTheWeb.com blog to announce a couple things with the schedule changes. I practically pushed this post and swamped out a few other things this week so it can fit. The viewership I am not happy with the viewership and I promote the blog and sometimes I wonder who reads it and I have a statcounter that's actually hidden from you guys and I can see the traffic to site and it isn't too good and it is frustrating to be honest. I had some thoughts of just stopping regular posts and going to sporadic posts from time to time when I have something to update and that day will end up coming eventually but right now I am focusing on the 5 days a week. I know I will be a burst of inspiration will come eventually. 

                  Now one thing she didn't mention is she is more a temporary host for Big Brother Canada and Big Brother US unless we cannot find anyone but for right now she is there for both this season of Big Brother Canada and the US season. Will be working by mid May to find a permanent host for both the US and Canada moving forward so this isn't overwhelming for her as I know Survivor is more her thing and I understand that and someone will wanna host I know it'll happen and she doesn't know this but I plan on starting to find someone the week after Big Brother Canada ends and it will be out there. Yes she mentioned Amazing Race as I am planning to bring it back to the podcast, but still minor detail as I am working on the form and getting the next step ready. Also I will be popping up on older Seasons that Amy covers as she will be picking and choosing what she wants to do and already has my list so stay tuned you may see me pop up on the channel randomly. End of The Week Updates [03-05-2022]

                 Another week has gone by and so much has happened this week it's so unbearable but I will try to cover as much as I can on the updates. 

Website: About, Team, Schedule, Contact has been updated to reflect the brand new and permanent changes to this ERA of ChrisBOnTheWeb. Also On Demand was down for a bit till I decided what I wanted to do it but I put it back up on the website and only home to the Archives at this moment. Only page that needs updating at this moment is Power Rangers Collab Podcast page which I need to do some intro work on all of them and an update will be made end of next week.  Adding Amy's new solo podcast which I will address shortly but sites been revamped bigger and better then it was. It was long overdue! Also Team page is now called "Staff."

Entertainment Man Podcast: With all the changes I continue to record and post up shows regardless and make time for this podcast as the show must go one regardless. I finished up editing my podcast with Reynaldo and big thank you to him for wanting a copy of the podcast to post up to his website. It will help grow my listenership. 

Power Rangers Collab: Now back to the original name since January 2019, I am keeping this name on a more permanent basis. I do not plan on making changes to the podcast by placing it in another podcast, I am leaving it exclusively to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. As for Samurai that is now on hold until intros are done and finished which now this podcast is on a tempoary hiatus till it is fully finished. No ETA to when it will return. 

The After Show With Amy: I managed to rescue The CBOTW Show from the cold shallow hole it was thrown into thanks to my doing along with Entertainment Man Podcast which is still there. The channel was renamed The After Show With Amy F and an Audio ONLY Feed was made for her. Also main page was created for her and will be active soon! Announcement is coming soon from her when it will be posted up for the Cast assessment but I can say this she will be pre-recording due to net issues right now hopefully it can be fixed at a later date. 

                That is the end of the week update and sorry for no blogs majority of the week but hope you enjoyed the surprise blog yesterday. We've been busy making changes and revamping the website and trying to set things up for a more permanent basis. Either way blog posts return in 2 days (Monday) on it's normal 5 days a week schedule so stay tuned for the post Monday, enjoy the rest of your weekend I will talk to you all Monday.

Surprise Blog Post!

              Surprise! I decided to do a surprise post as I am just too excited to say I am back and things are on the rise for ChrisBOnTheWeb! I know I have been radio silent all week but making update posts when I can and I have to thank Savannah for keeping those who are in the ChrisBOnTheWeb Facebook Group Community as there has already been changes to the website here and I will talk about that on Saturday. I have a string of posts tomorrow and Saturday with Sunday being the only day off from posting as that is the normal Entertainment Man Podcast post. 

              As I said this morning the spam commenting has to STOP honestly. I am getting more and more frustrated with the spam comments here on the website like seriously?! I am at a point I need to start reporting these spam comments cause it has become now more frequent and friendly reminder this  website is completely english and it is hard to understand but either way I appreciate the comments but there is no need to spam the same thing over and over again. It does get annoying after a while and I see every comment and reply to every comment that you guys put on here on the blog.  This is the second week in a row that this has happened and honestly please do not spam. There is no need for the spam, like I said I read every comment and when my phone goes off and it's from the site I know that it is a comment. Just a friendly reminder there is no spam and it is on my site terms of use (TOU) and any spam will be removed and flagged and reported as spam. I have put Moderation to always moderate the comments and this is to stop these spammers and if worse comes to worst I will set comments where you have to login to comment.  That is my post for today, it is good to be back in the blogging seat again and I will talk to you all tomorrow!
