I Was Going Bat Crazy At The End of September.

I admit I went a bit crazy at the end of September but that is what happens when you end up with tons of things on your plate. If you know I have a blog to write everyday and on top of that a podcast record weekly as well which sure as heck makes me one busy person. Also it is that time of the year where I am preparing for The Autism Celebration which is a week tomorrow and I will talk more about and I have been busy prepping and no time to actually talk about it at the moment but it is coming in less then 2 days and I will talk more about the details about the event. But I admit it, I am not even done with the board for the Autism Celebration as there has been other projects on the go for me so it has been quite hard and I admit I am having doubts how the heck to do the actual board and I am questioning it all together as it doesn't look right but it will look great regardless what I think about it in the end. I have a week to finish this up or I will not get any of this done if I just let it sit there and not do a darn thing but tomorrow will be working it.

I think I found it hard with the work load but I didn't really feel the motivation before I left for Minnesota but now since I have been back I have been working extra hard. I hope tonight to work on the Autism Celebration booth I have planned. I know I am not having it tonight as last night was once again really tough in the sleep department but I think I will sleep fine tonight for once. However, I struggle the next night still so I am not sure what is the problem. I think all of this has to do with the two things I said above at the end of September, sleep which I have gone back to my old ways with my dang sleep. The second part is the work load and how I handle it but I am getting defintiely better at handling my stress and there will be a post about that soon how I am able to handle my stress and how I am able to handle things much better. That is my post for today, it is not as long as the last couple of days but yea I was going a bit bat crazy towards the end of the month but we all do from time to time when we got a lot on our plate!

Events Start Next Week (I Cannot Wait!)

The hard and long months are here as I start going to tons of events for either Chris B On The Web or Promoting Chris B On The Web. All I know is I am ready to go and all of this goes down a week tomorrow, (Saturday, September 15th, 2018) with both the Ukrainian Festival and also the Polish Festival so I will be more then busy that weekend as events start and this is a week and a few days before I leave for Minnesota for 6 days for a wedding so it is a great way to start the events off this year. I have been covering the Ukrainian and Polish event since 2014, yes even when I was still back on YouTube I vlogged the event and but now is a little different with pictures and written text but that's OK I enjoy either of the two of the events. So I will be attending this event all day long and I have been excited for this phase of the year and this event in particular and look forward to eating some amazing food once again. I forget what I ate last year but probably the same thing as last year I will eat again I am sure.  Then the next event probably will be Autism Celebration which I actually do not have a date for it yet. Followed by that will the Apple Festival that is next, then the Royal Winter Fair as well. As for the parades I am not sure which ones I have scheduled nor if I will be at the one here this year or not, unless I get an email to volunteer but I hope I could attend the event to cover it with Chris B On The Web. I want to attend the Port Perry Parade to make up for not going to Tyrone due to the fact it's actually on my birthday this year.

Fall is officially here and the fun is just about to begin for me and I know I will enjoy the event and I do realize I had a job interview and I may have to cancel but I will let you know as of next week what is the plan so this event is schedule but I may have to cancel going to the event due to work duties does come first so I know I will make the right decision when it comes to events. Yes I wanna work again as it has been nearly 3 years and it is time for me to start earning money again. That will help me with continuing on with Chris B On The Web for sure. So anyways, I am once again rambling once again but I will let you guys know what is what soon. If I do not hear anything by a week today, then I will be attending but like I said you guys will know couple of days in advance!

Auto Fest 2018

I got a chance to actually see cars down at the Lake for $12 which is a fair admission price and I wasn't feeling like going to the event as I have been struggling the last couple of days since Kars on King as I have not felt well, tired, no energy whatsoever. Still have very little energy since Friday. Still trying to recover but I'll be fine in time, I think I am doing better this morning then I have been since a few days ago. So we went late in the morning and spent a good 3 hours at the Auto Fest with my dad. There was so much to see and do there including some amazing cars like Bel Airs, Corvettes, Camaro's, Mustangs and the list goes on and on. There was a few cars I was over the moon thrilled to see, the Mr Bean Car (Austin Mini), also a Cadillac Car & finally the Edsel car were some of my favorites cars to see but trust me, I have a ton of my favorite types of cars. There was a bunch of El Caminos as well which are half cars and half truck if that makes any sense to you guys at all.

There was not just cars but also vendors were there and within all the booths there they had exotic animals there, like Tortoises which one got free from the pen and wondering around the path way which was quite funny to see and it wouldn't go far as Tortoises are slow moving, so it wouldn't get too far. Also they had a Anaconda snake, ferret, Boa Constrictor & also an Python which was massive in size just like the Anaconda that we saw as well too. The cars went on and on and on, there were so many different cars to see and I highly recommend it as you will be spending a couple of hours down there but totally worth the time and money's worth to go and see!

2 Years Since Leaving YouTube and What I Have Been up to Now!

2 years today, I officially quit YouTube as a Content Creator. I know I spoke about this last year on the 1 year but decided to write about it at the 2 year mark and yes I will probably not talking about leaving YouTube next year but I want to ensure you all is now well 2 years later. It has been chaotic this year, but it's going well. I didn't think the intensity of the schedule would be this intense but hey I am enjoying myself now more then when I was still on YouTube at the time. I think at the end of my YouTube era, I wasn't having anymore fun anymore. I was burnt out and now there is always something different happening with Chris B On The Web now and it is not just editing, planning and recording. It is a mix of things right now and keeps me on my toes. Now I love going to events to promote CBOTW as well covering events locally and also in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

So yes, I am much more happier life and the stress is not as bad as when I was on YouTube. I am not putting down YouTube, just finally facing the facts, my views went down, my content stunk at the end. I felt bad not telling you guys and informing you of this decision but I had an uproar. People weren't happy but now realize my decision but are understanding now and I have made my mark in the podcasting community in the past two years and got quite the following from blogging, podcasting and being a public figure on social media. I am quite happy how well I have done and did it all on my own too with no help whatsoever. I mean yes Justin Milner helped me get things going and planned out and anything I needed he would be able to help but that decision to break up the team was a hard decision but Justin did respect the decision and look at me to this very day and I want to bring him on for an Off Season Podcast in December actually but he don't know that yet but will in time!

Good Morning! In today's blog post, I will be talking about the events, I am planning for this year and I realize I should of posted it up before the Maple Fest last week but it was a last minute decision to go to it but I will include it in the schedule this year. Also I am planning on going back to the Port Perry Santa Claus Parade this year as well. Bowmanville Maple Fest 2018!

Yesterday, I got to go to the Maple Fest in Bowmanville with my dad before I spent time with my niece and nephew and I always go to this event every year, I believe I did not go last year but made up for it this year. Today also marked this as the first local event or event in Ontario this year. There is plenty of more events to come and I will be announcing it at the start of next week to the events I will be attending this year in the way of Chris B On The Web related.

So first impressions were I was excited to be going back to events just because I love to blog about it, the adventures, what I saw, what there is to do. We got there, there was the fire truck displayed and what a fire truck it was! It really has changed since the first ever fire truck came out back in the day! Of course we saw a fire truck coming our way probably was heading to a call and it wasn't red, it looked like a black fire truck and I thought the fire trucks are suppose to be red? Maybe it was too far away from us where we were standing at the time.

They also had vendors as well, lamps, they had entertainment in two areas of the street, one in the middle and at the east end of the event as well. I took a picture but I don't think it turned out very well but I managed to try and get a picture but I didn't see it when I processed the pictures but I will look through the images again to see. There was food too, BBQ, Hot dogs, sausages. My dad and I have a Potato Tornado which is potatoes on a stick. Can have Sea Salt, Buffalo flavored, sour cream or Dill. Was delicious to eat and I wanna try the sour cream flavor as I  am one for sour cream when I eat my potatoes, baked potatoes mainly. So I definitely will try that next time we have a tornado potato. When I look at it, it does look like a tornado when you look at the stick from the top to the bottom of the stick. Yes I snapped the stick in half after I was finished eating.

Finally I enjoyed my time at the Maple Fest and looking forward to the next one which is the Food Truck  which is the day before the Old Car Festival which is in June, the date for the Food Truck Friday, June 15th, 2018 and I will be attending it this year, however the old car festival will be a no go but there is other car festival here in Oshawa coming this summer to look forward to going to, so I am not worried at all about missing it but I loved going to the Bowmanville one because of the old Edsel Car but it is what it is and I just gotta deal with it.

Favorite Events, I Have Been To!

There has been many events, I have enjoyed going to, even with events that I do not even go to anymore that made this list of events, I really enjoyed going to but didn't go back due to circumstances.

The very first event, would be the event, I have been going for many years minus 2015 & 2017 due to certain circumstances those two years but 2018 is to be promising, especially this year which has been already very productive with 2 collaboration requests, 1 collab with a friend of mine, an interview with a friend as well. Lots to promote at Autism Celebration this year, so I will be back at the event this year!

Second event, I have been going to for many years, even before this online media journey even started, I am talking about The Royal Winter Fair. I only missed one out of all the years as I got to the fair and I got really ill to a point I had to go home early, which I was disappointed by but I've gone to the Royal every year since that one bad year with having the flu.

My 3rd event I love going to is the old 50s festival which is now named something else apparently but we don't go to it, due to the fact it is on the weekend of fathers day and my dad is normally busy with going to golfing on the Saturday and watches the PGA (U.S. Open Golf Tournament) we are unable to go but some years, they place it earlier, so we get the chance to actually go to it.

Very next event, I have to put on this list is the Polish/Ukrainian Festival, we've gone every year minus those 2 years of constant rain each and every year, ending up doing our own Polish/Ukrainian festival with the food. Love going to this event each and every year and wouldn't miss it for the world!

Finally on my list is the Tyrone Parade of lights, gone every year, minus 1 - 2 years due to either forgetting the parade of lights with the tractors were on or it was based on the bad weather once again. in the recent years I've gone to it minus this year's as it runs on my birthday, so I will not be going but will go again next year for sure.

Well there you have it, my list of events I really enjoyed or do enjoy going to each and every year, I'm sure there are some I would like to add but it would make this post way to long for you guys to read but these are the basic ones I've gone to and enjoy going to and will be back to it this year,

Have a great afternoon!

What Do I Do When There Is No Events To Go To?

I have never talked about this before and I think it is time to talk about this topic at hand tonight on the blog. What topic am I talking about, well what do I do during the months I am not as active in the community taking pictures and blogging well, as you know it takes a lot of planning and writing out notes for the off season podcasts and the recaps itself, so a good portion of the time, I am working on that, on top of the 2018 Events, I am planning to attend in the entire year and which ones I wanna go to and the ones that don't really work for me and trust me I had to do a few changes as that didn't work out for me but added new things to the list but also experimenting with new events as well at this current time and I know 2019 there will be more changes made but you can look right here on chrisbontheweb.com and look at the schedule for an extra events that were not mentioned in the information package you get if you see me in the public and ask, I always have it but as of next year, I am again making some more changes.

I like to add in events, I think that are good and really turn out well, like parades in particular or The Royal Winter Fair, Autism Celebration as a couple examples to give to you guys. I hope to add in the Fiesta Week into the blog by next year. Taking 2 years to decide on if I am going to be adding to it or not. Now if I get shoved around and people yelling at me for no apparent reason, then I remove it. However I am going way off track of this post tonight. On top of planning for podcasts, writing topic related blog posts, there is the podcast itself of recording the recaps during the seasons, editing and posting it up on the scheduled days. There is also collaborations which now have become quite the staple on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com since announcing I was going to be collaborating with Larry and also that interview with Jeff from bowling, everyone has been messaging me on social media or sending my an email saying we would like to collaborate on something with you, which is great to hear, so I need to make that push to getting the two sets of wires I need for the mixer in order to take in Skype calls so I am making the push for it this week so I can set it up to take Skype calls and push for the collabs to start very soon. Finally, maintaining and keeping the website up and running and up to date everyday to make sure the content it up to speed to what needs to be released and posted up on the website as well. So in conclusion to tonight's blog post, outside of going to the events between May & June, September - December, there is always something to do in the way of work, I do not sit around twiddling my thumbs but I ensure you, I do get time off and time to myself a lot more then I use to when I was a YouTuber from 2008 - 2016.

The Plans For Chris B On The Web In 2017 - 2018

I have been very quiet about the clear plans for podcasts and interview plans especially as I have been putting together ideas after ideas and to bring out content to you guys and there are numerous ideas that is on the list I'd like to share and if I already have posted this is an updated version of the list of projects I want to work on and collab with a few people on a podcast. Please do note there is no timeline set but this is the plan of attack for the upcoming year once the studio is re-designed and fixed right up. Also events are also added to this blog post as well as things have been updated since the changes in the events I am attending this year, so let's start with the events for 2017 - 2018:

That is the list of upcoming Podcasts/Collabs/Interviews & events and it quite the list of stuff coming up for Chris B On The Web and as you can see no "Autism Celebration" as I have officially pulled out of the event due to money issue and the ink cartridge suddenly dying on me when there was ink in it. It was unfortunate that I had to drop out of the event but I will be back at the Autism Celebration next year, bigger and better then ever! I am still waiting on the Media pass for the Royal Winter Fair but I will let you know if I get it or not but will be taking pictures regardless of having it or not. I will be doing another blog post later on about my trip up North for the day.

Had To Pull Out of An Event & So Much Is Going On Right Now!

First of all this really stinks! So much going on for Chris B On The Web, setbacks after setbacks, after setbacks. First of all what do I mean by this? Well, I had to bail out of an event due to the ink cartridge suddenly dying and it would cost me a bit of money to get replaced. It is the little things that is draining my money to get ready for this event and I feel so bad  for bailing out but I pretty much ran out of money on the budget, so I kind of screwed myself over in the process. That is how bad things are going for me at this point of time.

The next thing is as you know "CBOTW" has no more group since people aka haters wanna report my posts as "spam" when it isn't spam, I am posting information for people to know what is going on with Chris B On The Web and I have my ideas who it could be and I am not letting the haters get the worse out of me either. My primary focus now is Twitter and Google Plus and as you know I only post up on Google Plus the most important things as Twitter I can post what I want but not like messages by the second, I try to space out my posts by a few minutes. So one less social media I have at this point of time. Yes I am not one bit happy with the fact that I lost my group to wrongful reports of spam when it wasn't spam. I should of kept it a private group this way nothing got reported and would of been only the members that could report as if the group was totally a secret to my friends nobody can find it or post so I should of done that, but I wanted it to be available to all the fans out there. I should of really known better.

Finally is the icing on the cake to all this bullcrap in the last 12 hours or so is my website sub menu deciding to not work and we all know it is the web builder. The good news the sub menu problem has been fixed but the website will need to be re-build so this means more work for em and the list is on and on and on of stuff to fix, pretty much I gotta fix the mistakes and I am actually improving the way Everything About Reality TV will be in the way of feeds, as you know I have to transfer feeds each and every season which isn't a problem but thinking of having the one feed for each season that would be the only one to be updated this way there isn't too many pages to click on but yet I am quite content with the way it is right now but it is an idea but you guys are use to the current state of the feeds and how it goes but there is always room for improvement but at this point. That is my update and there will be another blog post later on today to talk about the Ukrainian/Polish Festival I went to yesterday.

Chris B On The Web Events For 2017 - 2018

I am going to make it clear in this blog post that there are certain events I am attending for Chris B On The Web and ones that I am not. I have been hounding this in my head over the last few weeks and thinking of what events most definitely benefits Chris B On The Web and which ones have not been beneficial to "CBOTW" Also I will be mentioning the reason behind why I do not or I am going back to the event this year and to the list that I am uneasy to wanting to attend the event that is listed below. So without further ado, here is my list:

Events I Am Not Going To This Year:

Taste of The Danforth (Greek Festival): Not going to be going after last years debauchery of being shoved around and being told off by a lady, uhh, I will pass this year and probably will never go back if this is the way people are going to treat me. Nothing to do with the event organizers its just the other visitors giving me crap for no apparent reason when I wasn't doing anything but walking with my dad.

Possibly Event's I Am Going To:

Polish/Ukrainian Festival (Roncesvalles & Bloor Street, Toronto): Depending how the weather is over the course of the month of September and in the past years it has rained on the weekend for the festival and my dad and I been unable to attend due to the fact of the weather for the last several years have put going to this festival in doubt year after year, so It is on the maybe list and it is scheduled on chrisbontheweb.com just it will depend on the weather and I hope this non stop rain stops soon or it will be a no go once again.

Autism Celebration: I had a few mixed emotions with going to Autism Celebration last year, one being the booth sign I had said I was an YouTuber and Blogger and it was completely a disaster as I had a lot of questions about YouTube and people hassling me to go back, I am totally unsure on my decision to return this year, unless Kerry's Place talks me into coming back or my friends talk me back into it.

Events I Am Going To:

Apple Festival: I had fun and was a fun blog to blog about each and every year that I have covered over the times I attended it.

The Royal Winter Fair: I love going to the Fair each and every year, it is a privilege back in 2015 to be vlogging for my old YouTube channel that one year and I was under cover last year with my camera for the blog and hopefully I will be more open to taking more pictures this year if I can get the Media Pass.

Oshawa Santa Claus Parade: Always have a good time at the parade and haven't missed a Santa Claus Parade in many years.

Tyrone Parade of Lights: Since probably my college years or even before that I attended the Farm Parade of Lights and rarely missed one minus 1 or 2 years in a row but could of been due to rain or weather.

So there you go, that is my list and things could be change and I will let you guys know one way or the other if I decide to move a Possible events to the going to the event and will let you guys know right away. Have a great night.

Chris
