Flying can be stressful

           As you guys know, I was away and I flew out of the province on a bit of a vaca and I needed that break from it all. I have been so stressed out with all the work that we've been doing. Anyways, I always found flying very stressful but I enjoy the flights when I have to fly and fun to look out the window as we take off, during the flight and getting off. I will explain two instances. 1) Going through the pat down and swabbing my hands. Yeah I was pat down and swabbed. Never ever had it happen and I had no idea what the heck was doing on whatsoever as this has never happened. 

          My dad got double patted down and his items checked and I really had to be patient and with me Patience is not a virtue with me usually.  So in this instance you have to be very patient with this. Now Billy Bishop Airport isn't as stressful as Pearson but still flying can be a very stressful moment. Also sitting for an hour and a half was difficult with me with my right knee seizing up but I managed. Just be patient as you go through security and it will be all worth it in the end. Projects We Want to Work On!

                 There are projects we want to complete and right now is not the right time as you know boss man is out of the province but still is in Canada but not the point of my post today. There are two major things we want to complete before summer hits and here are the two features we want to work on:

Newsletter: I know we've talked about it a lot the last month to 2 months now and it is not as easy as you think as Chris needs to code the popup into the website. The NO right click has been implemented to our website probably since the start almost 10.5 years ago. That will be the first phase of the plan in June while Chris takes some time away from Ghostwriter till later in June. 

Merch: I know we have been approached about Merch and it didn't seem to have worked out too well as we didn't get a reply back but we are looking into other platforms that would want to work with us and get some ChrisBOnTheWeb Merch setup and somehow link it to the website. We will keep you informed when that stage begins. 

          Anyhoo, that will be it for me and I'm sorry for no regular updates and maybe this is something I can do between now and before we switch our schedule around as Weekly Updates being discontinued on this blog and moved to the Newsletter which I will be personally doing. I will chat with you all next week.

Gotta Stay Positive!

                   Doing this post on behalf of Chris and he knows I am writing this post. Just a disclaimer. Between guests on Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show, this is our busiest time of the year for us. Always is in May and June what Boss Man said to me. It has been slower in January and we always make notes to see the trend with guests and collaborations which is really cool we do that. 

         A lot of people have reached out to us and we are booking up quickly for June. You probably remember Chris left the platform, Matchmaker FM as it is now a paid service which is fine but we managed around the changes. Change is good and Chris has shown a lot of positivity and we keep track of our changes and how any notes to change things around or tweak with some minor updates. I will speak to you all tomorrow.

I Finalized Everything Before my Trip!

             I for the most part have finalized everything and raring to hand over the keys to the company so to speak to Sara while I am away. I have everything in place for when I am away and excited to be going away. I know there was a lot of things to do but it is to keep you guys watching, reading and listening to our content while I am not around.

             I have checked several times to assure that everything is completed in a timely manner. Like the saying goes always double check your list or work before you consider it finished or completed. I hope you guys enjoy the next few days without me and any questions do not hesitate to reach out and Sara, Larry, Kevin and Billy will be able to help you. I will chat with you on Monday and don't worry I will enjoy time.

June will be busy!

             June will be a busy, busy month for us and here is why:

- Events: We have a couple of events and activities we are going to be attending, Peony Festival which is something we do on a yearly basis and a lot of fun. Also Attending Fiesta Week which is usually my yearly review on the food if I've not had it before. 

- Podcast interviews and Collaborations: I have a bunch of collaborations and interviews scheduled. I will start with Entertainment Man Podcast, still need to book Mary coming back onto Entertainment Man Podcast. Episodes with Nick and another with Chris either went up or will be going up on the platforms. Also June I have Dr. Shafer coming on my podcast which I was on hers end of last month to talk about my journey with Autism and how I am an advocate for people with Autism/Disabilities and Mental Health. I have one more podcast to book for the month of June as of me writing this which may have been updated since. Also June plus maybe July I will be having Izac from Fun Football Podcast to collaborate and talk about our favorite Bill Murray Movies. Also Mary from Mac N Cheese Podcast will be coming on The CBOTW Show to talk about and recap Mary Poppins. 

              There is the timetable or gives you an idea what we are up to in June and as always I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

What If We Take a Break from YouTube Again?

             If we take a break, I promise you all that we will not be deleting our channel. We are beyond that as we have over 100 subs and do not want to lose our progress with the channel. The views have been fantastic and the overall amount is overwhelming on the love and support you guys given us, we do not want to take the channel away from you guys. So the channel probably go dormant if so but, yes there is a but, we are not planning to go away from YouTube at this moment as the momentum with the channel has been fantastic and we're on a roll with content. 

            That is the plan moving forward and I know, I've been approached about this with this question and I love these kind of questions actually and happy to address it even publicly on our blog. Anything you see in our social media accounts/YouTube and Podcasts, nothing is going to be deleted. Yes eventually if a podcast retires after so many seasons and episode it will stay up on there regardless. Anyways that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Weekly Updates [05-17-2025]

                One word: "Busy." We have been very, very busy getting work done before boss man leaves for his out of province trip, we are really trying our hardest to get everything done as the coming week, things will be quieting down for the week. Which this means, there will be no Weekly Updates as we are working all of this weekend and possibly Tuesday but it depends on how far he gets but we are working on the long weekend. 

         I can picture what the plans are when he gets back home from his trip. I kind of know what the plan is after he's back but he's gonna take Monday and Tuesday to himself before getting back into the swing of things. So any questions on the social media will be answered by me so please do not hesitate to ask. There will be a post on Monday and I believe it is already written and ready to go out. I will speak to you all Thursday for more blog posts.

Am I Excited To Be Going Away?

             Of course I am! I need the time away from the studio and home life. I need the adventure and change of scenery it will be nice to just get up and out of province. Plus it's an annual trip each and every year and while my parents have my health, we will keep going. Love Quebec as French is part of my family history and every year I am starting to try speaking it but it is the understanding what someone is saying and I am going to get my mom to help me with it. 

           Being away will be my downtime to de-stress from the hustle and bustle of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media as I have been going non stop with content and really grinding on YouTube again since our return to the platform after a brief break from it. I usually try and take a day off on Sundays and with this week being the May 2-4 weekend (Victoria Day) so I probably will take the Monday off as long as I have everything done in time. Anyways those here in Canada, do enjoy your long weekend and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Content Schedule Coming Up!

           This week and next week will be quite interesting as I will be away and we're full steam ahead with requests to blog on our actual blog so Sara and I are coordinating everything while I am out of province and make sure shorts, blogs, podcasts and what not are out on social media, audio only platforms and YouTube. So this week all is pretty much normal for now. I will be recording with Larry on Thursday as I cleared my entire schedule that day so him and I can finish up To The Light so when I get home, I can start working on the next one and also Corner Gas as well. Regular blog posts will happen this week, the 4 days with me and Sara on Friday as normal. Podcasts will be out Wednesday with the double episode one Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show.

         Next week I will be around Sunday - Wednesday for the blogs and podcasts both Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show. The second The CBOTW Show on the Friday I am away and the Sunday for Entertainment Man Podcast when I am returning home from being out of province. I will not and it will be just posted. Notice will go up next weekend on the YouTube side of things and social media. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Square Boys Pizza Review

              I haven't had Square Boys Pizza in the longest time! Years, probably over 10 years now. The reason is they closed down majority of the stores and we had one nearby us but they changed into a Pizza, Pizza which you all know I do not have a very good history with them with Pizza Gate 2019 and it will forever be famous on this website the day I did my first ever review that I didn't enjoy. Anyways we use to eat Square Boys and actually was our go to growing up. 

              The only Square Boys I know of is Bowmanville, Ontario and where we went exactly and was very convenient to the bus as it was only a few feet away from the stop and actually a good cement block to sit while I was eating it. Was cheesy and gooeyness, it was good. Brought back my childhood memories growing up. Was a bit of nostalgic throwback for me. Anyways that will do for the post today and always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Sometimes You Have To Hit The Reset Button!

           The last several days has been a complete disaster where things self destructed on me. Mostly Entertainment Man Podcast as you know there was no episode yesterday and only thing we really posted was the video of the studio. However I am going to make it up on Wednesday with an episode, however it will be an Audio ONLY episode for this week and this week only. It'll be posted to the Podcast feed on YouTube. I will save the other episode I was planning for when I get back but will have it ready.

          So I am hitting the reset button and focusing on getting things ready for tomorrow and Wednesday. Focusing on what needs to be done first. I kind of went away from the sticky notes on my desktop and that is my own fault. So I have to hit a reset button and try and work around my faults and we all have our own faults in life, things we regret doing. The Video Projects Team was one of those regrets as there are points of that team, I will not discuss but we all regret and sometimes you need to hit that reset button and come up with a new plan. I will talk about it more on Wednesday but that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!
