Starting to Get Use to a Routine!

               Getting into this new schedule has been rough go from the get go and we are 4 days into July and already feeling a little anxious and overwhelmed which is sort of trigger my anxiety a but the pill seems to help counter act it but it gets late in the day and I work very late it seems like an empty bottomless pit for me honestly. I need to realize the schedule is to get smaller along with the workload that I have it will eventually wind down on the load and I can take it more easier and I will get easier days but it will take some time. 

               However I do feel at ease knowing the schedule is more simpler and easy to follow and actually makes sense compare the crazy schedule we use to have we are getting use to this schedule but may take a few weeks to really get a grip into the schedule and we will in time. However I feel a lot happier with the schedule and not mad scrambling. Now What's The Plan?

                 Literally our world has been turned upside with both Kelsie and I's account was compromised and we are unable to get into our accounts, so with that we have decided to downsize everything we had. There was nothing but drama in Discord and YouTube to listeners and fans turning on us. We will NOT tolerate drama whatsoever and you will be removed out of community all together. Consider this a warning. 

                However you are wondering what's next for us. Will we ever stream again? Yes once the Fan Page gets up to 100 followers I can start streaming and there is always Instagram but as for YouTube the answer is no. We continue to strive to focus on "Entertainment Man Podcast" on YouTube and The CBOTW Show on Audio ONLY Platforms. Anyways that is where we are at the moment and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

A Bunch of Changes and Adjustments!

             As you know there was a ton of drama on the main Channel for ChrisBOnTheWeb Media on YouTube to me erasing the channel all together. The strategy has been switched up to us only using YouTube for the podcasts. As most of you know with the rumors of The CBOTW Show is indeed returning to YouTube for good. However we are finishing up the loose ends of things before we start up on there but we've got the channel and ready to go. Now the schedule has changed a tad bit starting today:

Monday - Fridays: Daily Blog

Monday - Wednesdays: Entertainment Man Podcast (Shorts on it's platform)

Saturdays: 1 pm EST: Live Stream on Facebook and Instagram (Facebook coming soon!)

                     3 pm EST: Preview reel for the most upcoming episode of the podcast.

           There is the schedule, There is still a bit of a void but perhaps I could add reels and videos in between and keep up with the updates so starting today the schedule is final and will not be changed in the nearby future. End of The Week Updates [June 28th, 2024]

                So something broke on the website to the point my end of the week updates was erased totally. This website is having some issues right now that Chris cannot figure out what the heck is going on. Anyways the updates for the week. It has been a hectic and chaotic week for us here and Chris has considered some work casts during the day but decided against it. So by tomorrow Chris hopes to have everything done in regards to content tomorrow as he's planning to take off Sunday and Monday. 

               What he has to edit is The CBOTW Show episodes and Entertainment Man Podcast. We've been working with our staff Kevin as he recently joined our team to help us out with the Facebook Group and Discord server as the rest of the team are busy with finishing up content to release as we have been swamped. Those are our updates for this week, have a great weekend/long weekend for our fans out there and Happy Canada Day and blogs will return Tuesday and I will talk to everyone next Friday.

How Am I Feeling Now With The Recent Changes

               So how am I feeling with the recent changes to our content schedule? Very good! I feel relieved that I will have extra time on my hands to work on things that are really important. I am sure I will still be busy with things regardless but more breathing room with the content. I am adding a video every Friday at 1 pm EST with hopefully a Behind The Scenes look or even a video with me sitting down with you talking. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with Shorts been taking up my time with it but with the changes to the schedule I have a lot more time on my hands. 

             I am still worried you guys won't be happy with the changes but I guess I cannot please everyone honestly.  However like I said I feel great with these necessary changes that is happening and we are currently in transition to the new schedule moving forward. Now it will take some time for us to get the hang of the new schedule and that's OK. That's why you readjust to new things, new schedule, new job whatever it is. But I was feeling apprehensive which yes is a big word but that feeling has now gone away and I've gotten into a bit of a routine even though things are getting hectic at the moment but end of the weekend everything should be all good and ready to tackle the new schedule. Power Rangers Reboot Cancelled, Now What?

            As I have stated in the past and have talked about it and the news is out there this really hits Larry and I hard. As you know we've talked our ears off Power Rangers Podcast over the last 6 years and we are now on moving on from the series for at least now unless something big happens to the series and it is picked up by another network as Netflix has now cancelled carrying the series which it's happened to Fuller House as well this makes us wonder what's next for Larry and I?

          Larry and I have been doing other movies, Mighty Ducks 1, 2 & 3. Collaborations with Bob Corner Gas, Guardians of The Galaxy with Mary, Collaboration with Izac Favorite Bill Murray Movies & Future Collaboration with our Moderator Sonal about Good Burger Movies. So that is what is on tap for the podcast moving forward, I will go into further detail tomorrow about how I am feeling with the new content schedule moving forward but right now enjoy the rest of your day and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Fiesta Week 2024

      So last week, I got to attend Fiesta Week here locally and first up was last Wednesday, my parents and I went to the Portugal Pavilion for some good Portuguese Food and I was a little scared to try it out for the first time but I shouldn't have been scared whatsoever. Because honestly it was really good! I had pork cutlet on a bun with some good juice to season it with French fries. However both were a little too salty but they use more salt and I was totally fine with it, just an observation I made eating it. Also we grabbed a dessert, Custard Tart which was gooey and really delicious! We enjoyed it! Also we got to watch the junior and senior groups dance and I could of actually got up and danced with the seniors group but maybe next time perhaps.

Two days later, my dad went up to the Krakow Pavilion for some Polish food and this is our second time going actually. I had cabbage rolls, potatoes, perogies and polish sausage and my replaced the sausage with sauerkraut and I think he had a cutlet perhaps. No entertainment as this was around lunch hour this time around and that's honestly OK. We enjoyed Fiesta Week last week and look forward to it in 2025 for another amazing week of food and entertainment. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Had weird dreams last night...

           I had beyond a weird dream last night, just not about Big Brother Canada about my former friend and I starting to talk again. First about Big Brother Canada. I dreamt the reason for the hiatus is they were saving money for a Big Brother Canada Vs. USA version. Now I know we've mentioned anything is possible and I have a good feeling it could come back later on but like I said never say never. It was a weird dream and I do not know what my mind was doing while I was asleep and I slept like 10 hours with being up for a few minutes around 9 yesterday. 

         The other dream I had was my former friend and I were talking and him and I were to reconcile our friendship. However I know it will not happen but was just a really weird dream I had and not sure why it happen but maybe it's a sign perhaps but the damage has been done and I know it will never happen again. I truly think it’s over between them and I and that’s ok friends come and friends go. Anyways that is the post for today I will talk to you all tomorrow and so sorry for a super late post.

End of The Week Updates [06-21-2024]

            Another end of the week has come to a close and here are the updates for this week: Chris has finished all the necessary editing that has to be done to make room for editing this weekend's episode of the podcast. Today what I gather he is recording Wednesday's podcast for Entertainment Man Podcast which starting next week the Wednesdays start on a more permanent schedule. However as you know The CBOTW Show heads to Fridays every other week. 

                     Also this weekend Chris is aiming to finish up Entertainment Man Podcast notes for future episodes of the podcast. The move will be shifting over to The CBOTW Show and working on episodes for the future weeks during the summer, including working on Corner Gas which is another project he is working on. Be sure to check out the podcast tonight as Chris will be interviewing Mary from Mac N Cheese Podcast & Life With Mary Podcast Live on YouTube at 9 pm EST, so don't miss out on an amazing episode! I will be back next week for more updates.

Why was there no blog yesterday?

             I apologize on his behalf for just cancelling the blogs for the week. There was only today, tomorrow and Saturday but with the posts suspended for the rest of the week I've decided to jump in. Now I do not know how long this craziness is going to be happening for us but I will keep you guys in the loop and I hope by Monday all of this has blown over.

Countdown to 10th Anniversary Celebration Is On!

           With 10th Anniversary approaching fast, we are preparing for the big event in November. Invites to the former and current staff are slowly going out and we're making the necessary preparations for the big day. It has been a hectic and very busy year for us and we had a bunch of plans earlier this year but that was put on the shelf and even our 10th anniversary podcast hasn't even been recorded as of yet. I really need to get to that and book something for the fall at the least as time is becoming tougher as Larry is off for almost 2 months.

           We are most definitely going to celebrate big. It has been a very long journey for us and we have gotten far over the years and we've worked super hard to get to this point and I am shocked I never called it quits at the 8.5 year mark like the previous team but proud for us sticking to it all these years, remaining positive during this journey. Times ticking and excited for the 10th anniversary celebrations and I can say there will be a ton of online stuff including YOU guys the best fans ever. We will explain all of it as we get closer in to our 10th anniversary celebrations. I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

I believe I have told my dad I want to try food from Portugal which I am a little apprehensive about but only way I will know is by trying it. End of The Week Updates [06-14-2024]

              This week has been tough for us. Getting all the content done so Chris can move forward but alas he is closing into finishing all this editing. Streams will be back this weekend, not sure the times as he is actually has something going on at 11 am and will not be in the studio but soon as he gets home he will be most definitely live for you guys. 

              He hopes to start working on new content as of Monday as he wants to have everything done and finished by then. There is no further updates and this post is going to be rather shorter then usual but I have to say thank you to everyone for the new follows on social media, new group members, new Discord Members. We continue to grow and evolve this community on a regular basis. We have some big plans coming in the nearby future including a special event for our 10th anniversary both Discord and Streamyards but stay tuned for more details to come! That is the updates, sorry it was a little short today but I will speak to you all next week.

Thoughts on Big Brother Canada On Hiatus

              This blog is a collaborative effort not just me but Larry who is next to me writing this we have a few things about Big Brother Canada being cancelled. Our thoughts is it should continue and the house now been taken down shows that it is unknown the future. We have saved the show before and there is a petition which you can find here: https://www.change.org/p/big-brother-canada-needs-your-help https://www.change.org/p/big-brother-canada-needs-your-help 

              However do we think it is over? No we can and we will as Arisa would say, so please sign the petition tag Global TV and Corus and get the word out and get the show back. If they do it sounds like they will have to rebuild the house since it's true they've started to tear it all down after 6 years of being in this studio. In conclusion we are keeping an open mind and you never know it could come back next year or in the future as a reboot of the show we all know and love.

The CBOTW Show's Future Plans!

                After a long discussion with Larry yesterday we have both agreed that moving forward the plans are to start working on Ghostwriter series so this fall, I'll start that process  with watching the series. It shouldn't be too tedious as it's not a long series but such a great franchise though. This is because of Power Rangers Reboot was cancelled and their contract with Netflix is now up. So this means we move forward with our next plans till they decide what is next for that franchise.

         Also there is Corner Gas that I will be working on in July for the podcast and getting the first part of the podcast done then decide whether we will continue talking about the series or not but we will see, one step at a time. So those are the basic two big projects, also still have plans with Isaac from Fun Football Podcast in September as well. So plenty of content to go around and will be working on The Simpsons stuff this weekend early but that is the post for today I will talk to you all soon for another blog post.

Sometimes You've Gotta Readjust!

               I have been finding it hard to keep up with things but getting better at keeping up but the schedule is off a bit so this is where I need to start making sure I do post things up on time. i think I am actually readjusting to the new schedule and this is good I am doing this before July 1st, 2024 when we move over to the new and permanent schedule moving forward and I know it will work just gotta readjust and get the hang of the new schedule and when you do it makes life so much easier.

                I know I've questioned why I am doing Entertainment Man Podcast twice a week and maybe I have been over thinking the schedule right now and this is where I need to readjust the schedule moving forward to both shows on a weekly basis however I plan on trying this schedule till the end of the year then decide what to do next but I think it will work out just fine. I will schedule time for the podcasts and make it work in the end with editing and what not. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Peony Festival 2024

 

On Sunday, I got to go to the Peony Festival with my parents and it was a lot of fun despite the rainy weather that we had here but rain or shine I will do the event as long as there isn't a major downpour of rain we will do it or I will do it. Had a lot of hand crafts, food vendors, the local nursey was there as well. 

Was a judging the Peonies inside the arens and I am sorry I apparently lose those photos of the Peonies but a bunch of them were going out of season. Either way I enjoy myself my parents did as well and was nice to get out for an hour and a half away from the hustle and bustle in the studio here. Streetcar Museum- June 2024

 

So back on  the weekend, I was out in Halton, Ontario at the Halton County Radial Museum or Streetcar Museum. Anyways was good to be back and saw a few changes in barn 4. They switched some of the streetcars around like 4000 is now a static display now in the back part of the barn. Also 2894 as you see on the left hand side of this blog. Also we got to see 4611 come on out of the shop there as their getting close to finishing it up. I look forward to riding it soon. We did the usual rides to the loop and back as always and the cars running on Saturday was 2894 a Peter Witt Car, 327 the open air car and the 8 car from London and Port Stanley. 

When we rode in the 327 the second time, I got the honor and privilege of sitting up front with the volunteers to take pictures and what not which really excite me to the core. Anyways I had a ton of fun and thank you to the volunteers for allowing me to sit up front. You made someone on the autism spectrum (me) happy and fulfilled my dream. We will be back this fall for a special event and look forward to what this event is down the road. As always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [06-07-2024]

               Sorry and hey everyone for the late end of the week updates but here at the updates for this week. Chris is finishing up with all the loose ends with podcasts that need editing and scheduled to be posted up on the platforms. He's been trying to get to the other work that needs to be finished but he's been busy editing the podcast. He finds that the two episodes a week is a bit much but he's getting into a rhythm his schedule he has to get use to and this is where he is going to start scheduling things in for him and have an allotted time. 

               However he has been stressing out about this schedule changes and worried it will not work out. I promised him he will get into a good rhythm and he will have the podcasts scheduled to record on certain days and what not. We have talked about a change in schedule days Mondays and Wednesdays but now sticking to our current schedule at the moment.  So hopefully this weekend we will completely finish up things so come Monday we can move forward with the upcoming weeks as we ease into the new schedule. Those are the updates I have and I am once again sorry for being late and I will speak to you all next Friday.
