I Needed That Break!

           After the experience I went through with being sick and all. I needed that break. It has changed my perspective on everything. I went from a depressed person to a very happy, positive and motivated person. I have had more motivation now then I dd at the start of the year, feeling worn out from creating content, especially the collaboration podcast. I feel like now I'm on top of the world! I feel great even with late nights here in the studio the motivation to keep on creating content non stop. 

         It is like something actually clicked in my head, maybe getting sick is the wake up call is what I needed to take care of my mental health too. Cause being sick I never once did much work minus trying to get posts out to you guys a few times and was quite difficult. However I am so proud of myself for the hard earned hours I put in from completing notes a week ago, to recording and editing the podcast and getting it finished in just over a day for the weekend (yesterday.) So now I feel like a different person then I was, maybe this is the new and improved Chris perhaps? Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

End of The Week Updates [03-10-2023]

           So another week is gone by and time for another end of the week updates. As you know I was still borderline sick as of Sunday and Monday but Tuesday was a lot better. However I got a ton of work done. So here are the updates:

Website: The CBOTW Show is listed back on the website under podcasts pending the return of the podcast later in the year hopefully we can squeeze it in somewhere in the fall.

Entertainment Man Podcast: I got any interviews I needed to prepare for finished and ready to go, I've edited the podcast interview for this weekend and raring to go. There is a slight chance that there will be no premiere this weekend, depending if I have plans with the family but that could be before perhaps.

Power Rangers Collab: Started the process for the next collaboration and getting it prepped for production in April. As you know we have a new timetable for the podcasts due to my illness which I am now completely over it now. 

         So those are the updates for the week, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.I hope to have more information for you guys on the progress by the end of the week for you guys where I am at with that but as always I will talk to you all Monday.

Gaming Updates

          As you know on my spare time and when I get spare time, I play some of my video games and here are some updates:

Goat Simulator: I got into this game thanks to a friend of mine and interesting what you can do but still getting the hang of the game still and not use to it as of it. 

Minecraft: I have been fiddling around with the game and even made a Zamboni out of blocks that sits in the corner under the blocks but obviously doesn't move or anything. Also been working on the concessions and bathrooms in the football stadium and also the baseball stadium too. Still a little stuck on the apartment building and need to figure something out with the elevator shaft as there is a problem with it.

Luck Be The Landlord: I have been grinding the heck out of the game and officially 3 levels from actually beating the 1st level of the game. Anything is possible on any given day and I am getting smarter with the game. 

           Anyways those are the updates on the games, I will do another one next month on the progress of and what the next step is for the games but as always will talk to you all tomorrow.

Today's Going To Be A Busy Day with Content!

            Today, Entertainment Man Podcast turns 3 years old and it is time to celebrate everything I have accomplished. I did a 10 - 15 minute video showing my gratitude to you guys. It is unbelievable how fast the years has gone by with this podcast and I want to show my gratitude so here is the schedule: 

11 am EST: this blog you are reading today.

1 pm EST: Dropping an official video on Entertainment Man Podcast's YouTube Channel which will be 10 - 15 minute video how grateful I am for doing this podcast.

4 pm EST: Dropping a new official Trailer for the podcast's YouTube channel which mind you I have been wanting to do this for months and what a nice way to do it on the anniversary of this podcast.

Weight Loss Journey [03-07-2023]

           As you know I am now at the end of my illness, and the damage report is in that I lost 10 - 11 pounds. I weighed 229 - 230 pounds but now at 218 - 219 pounds now. It is a lot less then I expected but I didn't expect to lose that much weight in just little over a week. However I will take it and if I am going to lose all that weight so be it. Makes it a little easier on my journey but again I wasn't expecting to lose this much weight this fast honestly and not the way you want lose the weight neither. 

           However this helps me and I am going to keep on going as I am only 18 - 19 pounds till I hit 200 pounds and I know I can do it. It is possible to hit it and stay down at that number. My next goal is 210 by end of June and not that far away but if you think about it now, not that far off from that number to be honest. Just gotta continue to lose all that weight to get there. I am aiming for 185 at the most. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

All Caught Up On Work!

          So over the weekend, I got into working on the stuff that I didn't finish since being sick. I am pretty much at this moment up to date and ready for the next phase. But I finished editing the podcasts for yesterday and Thursday so this gives me some time so I can work on the other podcast for the week so I can actually work on the next collab and get a little ahead of schedule so I can record in April again so Larry and I can get back on track.  Also I finished interview questions for future interviews so it is ready. 

             Power Rangers Ninja Steel seasons are the upmost importance that we do finish the podcast on time and on schedule. That is why I am clearing anything else that is on my timetable right now. So I am really proud of myself and excited for the next step. Hey I am quite impressed that I actually got it finished and I managed to get through everything I was working on done. However that is the post for today, as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Things Are Going Back To Normal, Slowly

             As you know the past week has been difficult and still is even to this moment as still side effects but I plan on recording a podcast this weekend for you guys so this weekend so there is so sort of normalcy and if I was deeply sick like I was there wouldn't but DO EXPECT an episode and I will try and explain what happened. 

            Now I am recording and planning to edit about half of the podcast today, the other half tomorrow so I am splitting up the workload but will be done and the time between the studio and my room I am taking extra time to rest if I need to rest and yesterday spent about an hour in the studio and why the blogs are shorter this week but I do not want to over do things. So it will be a slow process getting back to normal and getting my strength back but please patient. I hope you guys enjoy the episode I recorded today for you on Sunday and I will be premiering it and watching it and answering any questions you may have but that is the post for today, have a great weekend and I will talk to you all on Monday.

Power Rangers Collab- Revised Plan

          So with the questions of all the upcoming podcasts and right now, I am unsure if we are going ahead with recording and depends on how soon I can get back to eating normal again. So this is why I am planning to reformat the schedule hopefully picking up some momentum April, May, June and July. Here is what I am thinking:

Health Update!

        As you know I have been not well health wise and I have not been in the studio much lately but I am going to get a few blogs out this week today's and Fridays and IF I am up to it, I will try and get 1 or 2 more done as long as I feel strong enough but for the most part one more on the docket this week. As for Entertainment Man Podcast I am going to try and post something up this weekend not sure what but I will most definitely explain everything. 

         Friday, I will talk more about Power Rangers Collab a lot to update and as of Monday evening I felt a bit better. Knock on wood I am writing this Monday throughout the day when I felt strong enough to actually write. Now I hope by Friday if I am well enough and more then likely I think I will but touch wood after this rough day I will try and sit down and record something at the end of the week but will not be about the virus I had just a normal topic and it will go up as a bonus episode down the road. For right now if I feel like adding additional blogs I will for right now 2 days ago (Monday), I have decided to do the blogs today tomorrow and Thursday even if I have to do one a day that's fine if I need to but that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Good Burger Movie Review!

          As most of you know I was sick end of the week last week with some kind of bug of some sort but anyways, I got to sit back and watch the movie. It starred Kenan Thompson who is well know for the Mighty Ducks movies, D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks. Also Sinbad made an appearance here and there he pops up few times during the movie but he was hilarious. It wouldn't be a movie without him. The other movie I saw him in was Jingle All The Way which is a Christmas Movie and that also stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. 

          I really enjoyed the movie, was really strange at the start but the further I got into it and I really got interest. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and really hope this year at some point they do go through with releasing Good Burger 2 as they have a sequel in the works and the script for it is done now. I highly recommend this movie if you want a laugh, it's a fun family comedy movie that is for everyone! Anyways that is the post for today, I will speak to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

End of The Week Updates [02-24-2023]

                The week has conclude which means its is time for the End of The Week Updates. Chris and I have been tackling updates to several things so here they are:

Website: Chris and I have updated two of the pages on the website, Team page which hasn't been updated in a over a week now since the massive changes to the team. Also we've had an issue with Entertainment Man Podcast where the player was removed off of the website for the Autism Episode and the Mental Health episode wasn't added to the website whatsoever. So we've added it to the page and is updated.

Entertainment Man Podcast: Chris has been working on notes for upcoming episodes on Sunday. He is hoping to have it all completed by today so he can start working on the next stage of work he has to get done. 

Power Rangers Collab Podcast: With the completion of two more episodes and one of them being a season and the other being a "One Off" episode as Chris and Larry has something planned out that I do not know what it is personally. However with the recent cancellation due to the weather in Ontario, they had to cancel and reschedule it for 2 weeks. Chris needs several days to come up with a new schedule. 

                 Those are the updates for the week, I will speak to you all next week.

NOT All is Lost With The CBOTW Show?

         There is a possibility that The CBOTW Show may pop up this year and right now, Larry and I who created this podcast in 2018, 5 years ago almost. However I can say this The CBOTW Show will be popping up in June for the first time, it will be a sporadic podcast for a while since Power Rangers Collab will be still an on going thing but there is a possibility of another return later in 2023. 

            HOWEVER, The June episode will be a cross over podcast between Power Rangers Collab and The CBOTW Show cause both were on the same podcast on June 3rd, 2018. This is a great way to reintroduce the podcast again and this summer I wanna do one off podcasts about TV Shows on my own time. Still keep it to once a week. I certainly have some ideas then that stalls to the fall and it is semi active. Now the news on the plans on the fall is still up in the air as I am still in talks with Larry over this but him and I could possibly pop up this fall. Remember Power Rangers Collab does come first. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow and I hope you like this mish mash of posts with updates and fun posts.

How Do I Differentiate Blogs and Podcasts?

            This is a tough subject cause trust me it isn't easy. Somethings I feel like saying on the podcasts that I am comfortable talking about and is TOS (Terms of Service) to YouTube especially. There is no limitations minus certain things when it comes to Audio ONLY but those are up to 15 minutes at the most. Blog I can basically do anything but still have to oblige to the rules of blogger, no inappropriate stuff which I would never ever do. I keep the blog positive at all times and yes I said some things about my team in the past but that has been removed as I wanna keep this clean and positive at all times.

              So basically whatever isn't on the podcast is here but mainly when there isn't a specific thing like events, topics that aren't covered on the blog is a lot of the updates you guys get as I try and not make the podcast about ChrisBOnTheWeb, I keep that for right here on the blog and probably why this blog has never slowed down over the years. 5 - 7 days a week now basically 5 days a week with the occasional Saturday post, it is amazing how the blog hasn't slowed the heck down lately. Anyways that is the post for today, Joe will be doing the "End of The Week Updates" and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Patience is a Virtue!

          Patience this year has been lacklustre and something I need to work on. What do I mean by this? I was feeling very impatient with the lack of interview requests and I know this by now, it takes 1 request to start getting a pile of requests which has happened with Entertainment Man Podcast so the next several weeks I will be the interviewer once again which I love doing, it is the conversation that I love to have with other people and learned so much from people that has helped me as a person. 

          However this is the big thing I need to work on is patience and something I have struggled with for a very, very long time. Like the saying goes, patience is indeed a virtue and something I need to remember with those exact words. With the stress I am going through not with just my team but also with personally. Also finally the stress of the workload but I have to remember "eye on the prize" cause I get through this hurdle, we head into the next hurdle which I know I can do this. Just gotta be a little patient and get through one day at a time. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Studio is Semi Open Today (Due to Holidays)

            Today, here in Ontario is Family Day and any other year on this day, the ChrisBOnTheWeb Studios would normally be closed. However this year is certain circumstances as this week, Larry and I are back in the studio this week and I am closing in on finishing up the notes! 

            So there is really no studio hours today, I will be both in and out of the studio today spending time with the family today as it is after all Family Day and the reason behind this holiday. So I am going to be in and out of here all day long but plan on working when not playing games with my parents or watching TV shows with my mom. Other then that this is going to be a day that is really out of the ordinary. Usually on a holiday, there wouldn't be a blog today but decided to do one normally and depends on the holidays really. It doesn't take a long time to type one, the matter of minutes actually. Anyways that is today's post, have a great holiday and as always, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [02-18-2023]

             Hello everyone, my name is Joe, Chris's Community Manager for ChrisBOnTheWeb. It has been a very, very stressful week for us all the team, I came back into this community because of massive team changes, drama and what not, Chris has kind of gone quiet at times this week and hasn't been too active but I have kept things up to date. But here are the updates:

Website: Chris has shifted the schedule page to about section again as he felt the website was too hectic with the menu bar and he wants to leave it at a limit of 5 on the menu at all times so there is some weaving we had to do.

Entertainment Man Podcast: He is working all weekend and Monday and Tuesday on interviews for the next 5 interviews he has lined up right now. 

Power Rangers Collab: He wants to have the notes done by sometime this weekend and he stopped but worked on it from time to time when he was up to it as I said he's had a really rough week.

             Those are the updates, I will talk to you guys next week for another end of the week updates and Chris will be back on Monday unless things change but stay tuned to the social media for updates.

Chicken Twister Combo- KFC Food Review

              I have in all the years in my life, never, ever tried KFC and last week was my very first time and probably not my last one neither. I had the Chicken Twister Combo which was a fried chicken in a wrap with lettuce with mayo in it. Every bite, I had to go back for another it was really really good and I would eat that again in the future actually. Now as I said there was fries that came with it, it was lightly salted with a nice crisp to it. It was really good french fries.

            Now I would give it a 10 out of 10, I really enjoyed what I ordered and the service was very quick and fast and got everything I asked for including a drink as well. I would do KFC again in the future and who really know, probably do another review down the road. Lunar Client- Minecraft (First Time Thoughts)

               I downloaded another client within Minecraft called Lunar Client and it is part of the game and can played it's all intertwined. I believe a lot of things are different and the one thing that I believe isn't a part of this version is Nether but I haven't gone that far. Right now I have a small farm and also a good size home that is a ton better then I have on my own server. I actually like this house and reason the house is different in setup and right now I am working on the first floor and then the second floor is the next. So establishing a base camp is the most important thing for me right now. 

                 I have the slash commands on at this moment is to go to creative and survival modes. I believe cause this Lunar Client is in such an earlier stage they haven't added in as much as the normal Vanilla Minecraft has yet but still excited to try out different things on there and discovering new things on the game. Quite impressed to be honest with it and I highly recommend it if you guys want to try something newer. Anyways that is today's post, I can talk to you all tomorrow.

Ravoli Review- Boston Pizza

             Another review is here as I have a pile to do from the past few weeks to almost a month now and I promise you guys I will try and put them up quicker next time around anyways, I was with my family, at my niece and nephew's hockey tournament which they won the "C Division" Championship. Between the first and second game we went to Boston Pizza which mind you is an amazing place to eat at if you love Italian Food. 

             Anyways I had the Ravioli which consists of Ravioli and cheese in it and it was good, cheesy goodness and quite a lot for a good little pan and filling right to the end of the plate. It was really good and something different for me to try. I usually try and change things around when I eat out as much as possible. Also came with a piece garlic bread which was a little on the crunchy side but still good regardless. I'd give it a 10 out of 10. Anyways that is my review for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Changes To The Blog?

            I know there has been rumours that has been circulating with the blog changes and we've thought about changing the days to be quite honest but today's post, I am going to talk about one change that is coming to the blog and there is only one thing that is changing but before I do that, I wanna talk about the Saturday blogs as was discuss, after a long discussion with my Team, I have continued to think about this further and come to an conclusion that I am keeping Saturdays as an open day for a blog post. Same with Sunday in case New Years hits on the weekend like it did this year. 

             The other thing is, Mark who is part of my team since the start of November on and off and now full time on the team, he will be taking over the blog on Fridays and if there is an extension on the blogs then it would take place on the Saturday, but it really depends on a week to week basis to be quite honest. In the end it depends how we setup our week and I am not saying this by my perspective but Larry's and Mark's as well. There is no "I" in team, we work together to ensure I am successful in the end.
