We're Ready for New Beginnings!

          With 2025 coming to an end, we are gearing up for 2026 and around Christmas Post on the 24th & 25th, then at the end of the year and in the New Year you will see 5 or 6 posts as we wrap up this very tough year for us and especially with me taking time off here and there for my Mental Health. With this dramatic year coming to an end means new beginnings and I know that 2026 will be better and so much better then this year. You will be seeing a lot more happier and positive Chris moving forward.

        The line-up next year will be insane! We have quite a good line-up for the New Year and I will be starting to redo the entire schedule on the website. Again I will have more on this but we're ready for change and change is so important to continue the growth and we should of not returned in 2022 but we live and learn from this experience and use it moving forward. Starting to learn the role of Co-Host!

             As you all know by now, I am only hosting The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies and the only podcast I want to do shows as a Host. Now you all know I am Co-Host of 2 other shows, a Talk Show (Webshow) & The CBOTW Show- TV & Reality TV Recaps for the Survivor Recaps which is basically seasonal, twice a week. So I can kind of sit back have a little less to do with the show and I have started to slow down hosting every single show in our network as I am involved in pretty much everything that goes on. 

          The ONLY thing that I am in charge of is actually the recording of shows that I am involved with and the other hosts just have to record their own that I am not on. Co-Host is a very different position that I have been in the past 20 years so I am taking on a role I haven't been familar with. Am I excited? Yes! of course! This will be me starting to slow down on the host but I am going to continue to remain active with podcasts and webshows. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Survivor 50 Recaps is a GO!

        The logo doesn't decieve you, The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps is on it's way back and with Survivor 50 around the corner, Billy and I are getting ready to rip and roar through the Recaps all of Season 50 of Survivor 50: In The Hands of the Fans. Also it is out there we are looking for hosts for Traitors US for the New Years and I will be doing a post again next week as we continue to press the idea of expanding our network further. 

       Eventually it will happen where we will expand the network but baby steps to growing the network. The ideas I have for expanding is Traitors US; Traitors Canada; Amazing Race; Amazing Race Canada & of course Big Brother US. However that is a little bit extragious at the moment so Survivor 50 is the only one on the list plus Traitors but other then that Survivor 50 is most definitely a GO with Billy. Back to What we did before 2024

           Twitch is permanently done! I have decided the drama is too much and I am now focused more on the social media streams, answering questions and what not. Pretty much going back to basics to where this all started before 2024, when I use to stream on YouTube for the company and before the company was called a company, as it was more a brand in the earlier years. Also I can most definitely know there will be no trolls or as many as it is basically our community listening in. Yes there will be the odd one but my team knows how to deal with it.

         So back to basics it is and remember we didnt really stream on 3rd party platforms between 2016 and 2022 minus the odd social media stream but we will be going back to that and plus I want to continue to grow and watch our website flourish in views as the viewership and listenership but as always if you have any questions do not hestitate to ask in email, social media or our Live Channel page if there is Staff around and as always talk you tomorrow.

Temporarily put video versions for Entertainment Man on hold!

             We've officially given up on putting video to the Entertainment Man for now.... I plan to resume it after the Audio ONLY side is finished entirely and all audio only is up and baby steps is what is important and if I would get some time to work on that I would but with down time over the holidays, and no new episodes being recorded will give me some time to tackle the website a bit more as I still would like to have it done by the end of the year so we can move on with the current shows we're doing. 

            This temporary change will be very short lived and it will be worked on faster then you know it so you will have video for some of the episodes that actually have it. Temporarily it's temporarily on hold and trust me, I want to get this done and over with as fast as possible so we can work on the actual show as February 1st and beyond, I am going to be on my own for the Thursday shows which normally Larry and I but he is on a leave of absence while he moves and settles on in and I have told him to not rush things to take his time on things. It's not like we will be recording every 2 weeks because we won't as it probably will be monthly recording sessions as to have enough for the month then we record again but I will address this later in the week but that will be the post and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Started to Think What's Best for Us!

          After all this Twitch drama, I am no longer going to be streaming there neither same with Kick. With what I said about After Hours, I meant it we will be focusing on Facebook and of course broadcasted on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com as well as the Facebook video player is also embedded under the Live which is very visible on our website so that helps a ton when it comes to us being live via FB and I've tested it and it works perfectly and I know I have to monitor it all for both chats and I will but also need to monitor the stream as well. 

         This is the best move for us and we are going where the viewers are and that is what is best as we have a pretty good following on majority of the platforms that we are on and it is what is the best thing for us moving forward. Sometimes you will see me stream a game on the fan page or TikTok but rare occurance especially if I want to show you guys the progress with one of the games perhaps. Working away on podcasts and the website!

            Still working away on Corner Gas and need to finish the final 2 episodes with Bob and hope next week or two we can get back into that once again and that it won't be delayed in the New Year as I keep on procrastinating every single time. Also I have the episode with Larry to edit and need to record two more episodes. Also have done some tech work and I see why the sound was off compare to what it was before, I had automatically adjust mic and that was an issue before and hopefully this crap doesn't replicate but time will tell when Bob and I hop back on a call. 

          Website wise I am already on Season 3 of 6 so halfway there video video wise but need to continue to work on it but it isn't a full priority right now as I have to maintain the current and active podcasts is the most upmost importance right now and it is totally understandable to get all the content, podcasts and blogs that need to be done, done. I will talk more about it on my social media streams this weekend and I will talk to you all tomorrow for a bonus blog post.

Tech Issues with OBS and Streamyard....

                   There are two episodes that had audio issues with OBS, one of them being the most recent episodes we have recorded and I think I need to raise Bob's voice and probably on Streamyard too as well as it seems but I could use OBS to record in case and I think I am going to do that moving forward. Also I need to remember to have the fader up for the mix-minus setup on my board and that is most definitely something I may have forgotten to go a good level up from it so that could be why I am having issues with the edit. 

              I have never had issues with Streamyard or OBS before and the settings seem to change even if I do not change anything this is why you need to check your tech when it comes to recording shows. So the real fault is by user error and I admit it and I promise in the future to check everything and assure that it works but that is the post for today, I would continue on but I have an appointment and need to get this out for you all but as always, talk to you tomorrow.

Halton County Radial Museum [Christmas on The Rails 2025!]

            Back on the weekend, I got to go to the Christmas On The Rails @ Halton County Radial Museum with both my mom and dad this time around and we had so much fun! We rode the rails on 2894 (Peter Witt), 4611 (PCC) and 4039 (CLRV) streetcars and I always love the 4611 ever since it was brought out back on service at the museum. 

       They had Christmas Music and beautiful decorations and some of them different from past years as this is the 3rd time that we've done this since 2023. Also got to see their new aquisitions car 10 which is similar to the 8 car. Then 104 which is like the sister car like 107 that is in the back part of the museum barn which both are back to back to each other and still boarded up and awaiting restoration. We had hot chocolate and treats. I had the Naniamo Bar which was delicious and was founded in British Columbia. 20 Years in the World of Media!

               Wow 20 years I have been in the world of Media, well Online Media. When I started this journey, I had absolutetly no clue what on earth I was doing. I am talking the Video Projects Team era. I had absoletely no green screen no professional mics. I just didn't want to spend the money on the investment and I am glad we didn't as you all know the stories that I have told you guys about the former team and how it panned out. 

             However now is completely changed the course of this team, ChrisBOnTheWeb which is know known as ChrisBOnTheWeb Media since August 2023 (over 2 years ago.)  Anyways, we have grown and evolved as a team and ending our YouTube Career in 2016 was the right timing for us as we have now evolved not just in blog and podcasts but now WebShows and we have a new identity as a company, brand and name. 

             Thank you to everyone who's followed me from the beginning The Video Projects Team, past and present members of this community. I cannot believe it has been 20 amazing years and only 5 years to go till I celebrate 25 years in Media.  Hopefully we will do some kind of big shindig for the 25th anniversary and see what Alumni I can bring together for this momentus occasion but anyways that is the post for today and as always talk to you all tomorrow, on time for once.

Entertainment Man Podcast Page Work slow down....

             There has been a bit of a slow down as of this morning as I was awake during the night as I couldn't sleep any more as I passed out earlier last night, I wanted to do a post today to let you know I am working on the Entertainment Man Podcast page and it is still in archives at the moment but been adding back Archives.org as they've been having a bit of a loading issue and wish there is a way to put a player right from this website itself. 

           It was indeed Archive.org having some loading issues and it happens as they get a ton of traffic daily so it is understandable and I already reported the issue early this morning and they have fixed it so we are back to working on the website page for Entertainment Man Podcast while working on episodes for The CBOTW Show. Entertainment Man Podcast will be RETURNING!

             I have gotten emails and questions when is Entertainment Man Podcast is coming back, is it coming back, what happened to it? That really pressured me to think what's best for the company and it's shows the interest in the show returning for a 7th season is amazing! I will start working on ideas and get booking for the New Year and already got people lined up, a potential new interview on Entertainment Man Podcast plus planning to have Jimi, Ken and Gilda all on the podcast as well and I just need to book em.

            So I am looking at Sunday, January 4th, 2026 @ 1 pm EST and I will do the full schedule tomorrow for that but it will be only on Audio ONLY as I already have 3 other shows Tuesdays & Thursdays for The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies & Fridays for After Hours with Shane and Chris which more information is coming on that via video very, very soon. Anyways I look forward to the new beginnings for all 3 shows and this is indeed the best thing to do moving forward. The break from this podcast was the right thing to do and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.
