Podcast & Show Updates!

            As you guys know, we are gearing up for 2026 which is going to be AMAZING! I can definitely tell you guys that for sure and we've had questions with updates on all 3 of the shows and of course I'm willing to do that PLUS @ 1 pm EST, I promise you the schedule revamp that I have come up with to fit the brand new schedule but here are the updates:

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: Larry and I have 1 more show left on Thursday in the upcoming week then nothing till January then we will not be airing new episodes for the time being. Corner Gas still going strong on Tuesdays and another session is closing in for the start of December. Next month will be Christmas Movies/TV Shows.

The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps: We are gearing up for a return to the Reality TV in 2026 as Survivor 50 is closing in, I am teaming up with Billy for the 50th season of Survivor. 

After Hours with Shane & Chris: We are ramping up even more for the start of this new series, a talk show as it has been 10 years since the last talk show I did back in June 2015. More information is coming Monday but I can say the show is being aired on two different streaming sites or network, YouTube & Twitch.tv. Again more is to come.

          Anyways that is the update and more information on After Hours with Shane and Chris are coming and excited for 2026 and what will be a very productive year just like this year but I will talk to you all @ 1 pm EST.

Website- Phases

              This is the phases when it comes to the pages being completed one at a time:

The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies: This is the first page being completed as this is a current and active podcast and this page needs to be completed in a timely matter. Status: Project Almost completed

The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recaps: The second page to be worked on as it isn't currently active at the moment. Status: Current, Awaiting work being done. Should be done in the same day as the TV & Movies.

Entertainment Man Podcast: The final page out of the 3 that needs some updates with the player and will be the longest project to be completed. Status: Awaiting work being done

           There is the list not a lot but it takes time to work on but eventually I will get to it done at some point but for right now, I work on the first two then move on to the other one and Entertainment Man is in archives so it isn't mandatory and I can take my time on it. What Games am I Addicted to right now...

            As you all know and those who have been to now my former streams on Twitch, I have been playing some new games and I will talk about them on todays blog so without further ado, here are the games I am currently playing that are new:

Mon Bazou: Not really dug deep into the game as of yet but heard some good things about the game and I just gotta get into the game and I should be able to get into it. 

Water Park Simulator: I found this game through YouTuber, TMartn2 (Trev) and absolutetly loved the game and am so addicted and invested into the game right now and excited to be playing this game right now.

Schedule1: I have gotten a little careless in the game but learning the ropes of the game and getting the hang of the game and learning how everything works and what not. 

Mall Simulator: Another game that I cannot put down for one minute and I just seem that I cannot stop playing the game whatsoever but getting deep into the game.

               So these are the games I am addicted to and playing at the moment and I know I may have put Minecraft to the side but that's OK, I do play on there from time to time but that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Streaming on Twitch...

           Unsure about streaming on Twitch and not sure  But still got a month away from the start of production on that series.  I just cannot figure that part out as of yet and if we will indeed go that route or not but with all the drama I am now unsure on the future of streaming to the platform at this time but I guess time will tell.

           Once I get all the blogs and work on the website a little bit getting pages I will try and figure out how to add Facebook to the Riverside but we will figure out as I really love Riverside and I would actually get PRO for it but right now is not the right time at the moment. However you will see more of me on Social Media more then anything, FB Live, Insta Live and of course on TikTok Live as well. Anyways that is the post for today and sorry it is so late, been having a rough last day and lack of sleep and my schedule has been hectic and I am unsure what the plans moving forward but I will talk to you all tomorrow for another post.

Staff Promotions

             I know the staff situation hasn't been the best and we have been struggling as a team but we persevered though the problems and I have promoted two of our staff that have helped me through thick and thin:

Sadie- Director of Operations: She is in charge of the day to day operations of the company, it's like COO but a different type of name to the title. 

Billy- Head of The CBOTW Show- Reality TV Recap- He is the one that runs the Reality TV Recap division for The CBOTW Show Podcast.

           I am happy to have them part of the team as we are going to be reaching new heights and our future is most definitely bright with amazing projects and things going on behind the scenes and as always talk to you all tomorrow.

Bob Seger-- Like a Rock Tribute Concert

          On the weekend, I got to go to another tribute concert with my parents and we enjoyed it even though the lead singer was sick and had a rough voice but I give him props for going on. As the saying goes, the show must go on which is true. He took breaks and let the rest of the band help him out which was awesome and they sounded fantasic as well. Rich on the keyboard was amazing and loved doing the keyboard. 

         I know a pile of the songs as I believe I have a CD but soon as Old Time Rock and Roll played  I was moving around in my seat as that is one of my favorite songs by Bob Seger. The concert in all was amazing, yes they shortened it because Ty was sick but he did as best as he can and again I give him so much credit. They could have cancelled the concert and re-schedule but credit goes to him and the rest of the band because the concert was amazing and I told my mom I'd come back to see them again. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

11 Years of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media!

               11 Years! 11 Years, I cannot believe it nor fathom that we have come this far as a company and team. We started this thing at a very small scale and have grown greatly over the years and the last year and a half to 2 years has been amazing as our company has gotten a ton of views on our site and content. I guess I have Entertainment Man Podcast to thank for that and now that it's become a thing of our past now.

             However our future is very, very bright for us! As we are heading into 2026 soon, new projects and continuing to collab with people. This talk show is new and something different but you may see some familar faces on Friday night show, you never know! I am going to make sure they get onto our show as we want to continue with the interviews. Also Streaming has become huge for us and has proved to be successful even with the bots spamming us 2 - 3 to 4 times a stream. LOL. 

            I want to thank my team who has had my back even when I stepped down as CEO and even when I returned as of Midnight this morning. I will explain on a post tomorrow. Also would like to thank my family and friends for always supporting this dream. Finally I want to thank you guys for the love and support over the years and here’s to another amazing year and many years to come! 🍻 I hope to see you all tonight for the 6 hour long stream tonight starting @ 6 pm EST and I will talk to you all Monday!

Tech Work Begins for the Future of The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies!

              The Tech work for the future episodes with Larry has begun today as Larry is here in the studio with me hanging out we have decided to do some technical work with him and I recording episodes in the very nearby future. I know we still have 2 left one on video/audio and the other just audio only due to me accidently deleting the video episode. Then nothing till January then we are off the air for the foreseeable future until Mr. Larry is ready to get back into it and gives me time to work on Ghostwriter right to the end of the series. 

             So basically the tech work being done is for a call between Larry and I and we are not sure what we will be using at the moment. I am thinking Streamyard but not 100% sure but we will decide that when we get ready. I'd like to use Discord as much as possible but we currently don't have a server so that is so out of the question. What I am thinking is using Streamyard in it's entirety as I've had complaints that I'm not sure where the call will be well I am most definitely going to be utilizing streamyard for major of the shows, however the one with Shane and I will be using Riverside. Spotify Falsely Claiming a Copyright.... [I'm Not Pleased ONE BIT!]

           I don't think I have a reason to be mad, yeah I got blocked in certain countries, USA being one of them but it was my fault putting that music only but they didnt need to send me copyright notice after copyright notice. I ended up spamming the same reply again and again in real frustration and I think I got the message to them that the episodes were removed from our feeds to correct the issue and they continued to put claim after claim. 

           I was starting to think ohh... we may have to go back to YouTube which I am not a fan of anymore because of the trolls and one specific group that turned their backs on us. However I know that there is a solution to everything and yeah I threatened to go back to another site we once used and that might of helped but threatening to abandon a site doesn't really help. I'm sorry if I am ranting but I am not pleased one bit but least it has stopped for now. I will talk to you all soon on another blog post.

Philthy Philly's [Royal Winter Fair 2025]

        So for supper @ The Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, I had a staple from New York City called a Bronx Chopped Cheese which has ground beef, cheese, onions, lettuce, choice of Tomatoes if you wish ketchup, mustard and Mayonaise but it is the individual's taste and choice. However I decided to go with the entire thing, as it's a new experience for me. Watching them cool it, I wish I was able to take pictures of it being cooked but I didn't for obvious reasons and they were so dilligent when putting it in the roll. 

      The sandwich itself, was delicious, gooey and messy but gooey and messy means it was really, really good! I enjoyed it and it wasn't really that filling of a sandwich. Was light in the stomach actually. Was perfect after that slice of pizza from Pizza Pizza in the Coca Cola Colisieum. I would rate the Chopped Cheese Sandwich a 20 out of 10 as it exceeds my expectations and I will definitely have it again in the future. That is my blog post for today, enjoyed the rest of the weekend and I should be back on Tuesday for another blog post.

The Royal Winter Fair 2025!

        Yesterday my dad and I went to the Royal Winter Fair @ Exhibition Place in Toronto as it's an annual event and tradition that we do each and every year. Basicially the same thing this year with similar businesses promoting but we did a pile of taste testing as you know by our reels on Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok. Was neat to interact with them too and especially when it came to the Old Cheddar, Turkey the dips and the Oyster Mushrooms. 

       We walked around for a while then came back  to the show floor to look around and we did that several times and the animals came towards the end with the cows and the usual, Angus Beef cattle, Holstein, Short Horn and a few Long Horn Cows which we haven't seen in ages since I was a lot younger. Of course the goats being silly trying to eat the plastic and I was scratching it's head while it was distracted by the plastic tie down that was on the fence. I lost how many goats were standing up against the fence but was funny in a way. We had supper which I have a review to come out later on but then my dad got coffee and two cookies and we ended up getting another for free which was nice of them, not necessary but nice. We finally went to the Horse Palace and enjoyed our treats and wondered about looking at some of the horses and got talking to a horse and her ears were moving a lot so she liked that we stopped to see her and a champion too as she won a competition, not sure if it was the Royal or another but that will be the post for now, I will talk to you guys in a couple of hours for the food review.
