We're working on a better ARCHIVES!

            Mark L and I have been busy, from building an entire new website for testing stuff out which only members of our Private Facebook Group which you can only find on the featured tab on our Fan Page by clicking the blue hyper link in this blog. However since the test website is completed, we are now already gone to work on improving the archives for ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and it will be probably a week till it will go into testing mode to assure it works properly. Also the test site is riddled with mobile compatibility issues but I think we've fixed that issue and is now working fine on mobile devices. 

          The new Archives will have a pile of tables for each category, which we haven't done a full test on it as we've started to prepare the website for that mode and currently building it at this moment. We plan on taking a week to build the newer archives on this website so this way it will be easier to find all the archives in one place by scrolling down which is the initial move we are planning to build on the test site. Then we will be testing it out for about 2 weeks ish maybe 3 but by the end of November/Early December we will be implementing it here on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com. Exciting stuff happening and excited this brand new ideas and simplifying things but that is the post and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [10-20-2023]

             Well, I am certainly not Kelsie. She has made the decision to resign from the team, so as you may all know from the posts especially on Facebook, I have been named the next community manager even though it seems like old community managers seem to be coming back all the time. But I can guarantee, I am here to stay on a permanent basis. Now to the updates: Chris has been so busy with events and changing things around the community to a point he's not yet even worked on Power Rangers. He's been stalling up to yesterday he has actually gotten some episodes done and today as well and he hope to have it all watched by end of the weekend to start typing so him and Larry can start recording in the new layout of the studio. 

           As you know and this happened prior to me coming back onto the team as Community Manager, Site Admin & Graphic Designer which we came up with a better title called "Community Director" which will entails what I mentioned, answering the emails, work on the website and graphical ends which isn't too often but weekly mostly. Also the insults towards both Entertainment Man Podcast & The CBOTW Show is getting old. Chris is fed up and he's been threatening to discontinue the podcasts. We do not want that as that has been the heart and soul into ChrisBOnTheWeb Media lately. Those are the updates and please do not be so rough on us, we really don't care about the ratings its more about the views and feedback we go by. We've had a lot of great feedback on the show and the views have been there. Any insults will result in being blocked, just a friendly reminder and I will speak to you all next week for another end of the week updates.

Ideas are flowing right now!

               There is so much going on in my head right now. I mean idea after idea keeping coming. Monday proved it. I mean I was getting ideas up the Ying yang. Which is good though. I want to have as many ideas as possible because with Entertainment Man Podcast it's all about longevity, I want it around as long as I possibly can and it will be around for a long time, don't worry. I am working all the time on brand new ideas and the list keeps going on and on and right now I am writing new episodes that could take me to the end of the year at least saving what I had for next year.

              The CBOTW Show is starting to shape up. I have been getting ideas and a week tomorrow please expect an additional Halloween podcast and it's not a movie it's from a very, very popular series called "The Simpsons" and it is from one of their Halloween episodes where Homer eats the forbidden donut. I have to dig into that today at some point so I know exactly what season it is. Anyways that is the blog post for today, have a great weekend as Mark will be taking over the blog for tomorrow's usual end of the week updates and I will talk to you all on Monday!

South Simcoe Railway 2023

               Sunday, we were once again back on the road again, this time we were at South Simcoe Railway. Which is a heritage railway where they have really awesome older passenger cars and 2 steam locomotive's 136 which is running but they used the Diesel which I will get into soon and Diesel 1057 which needs some work done and is sitting on the side which you can see at the top.

      The locomotives they used was the 1948 703 which she wasn't normally a passenger service. She was mainly used for yard service shutting freight and I presume passenger cars around in the yard. Her bell reminds me of the 3612 at York-Durham Railway bell but 703's horn is like a truck horn and very distinctive and easy to know when she's coming. Despite the rain being crap, we made the best of it and got tickets on the first train. Yeah we froze ourselves but got a soup and sandwich at Tim Horton's after we chased down the train but worth it and we had a lot of fun which matters. Apple Festival/Art Show 2023

             Saturday I got to go to the Apple Festival in Bowmanville Ontario. Was the second year in a row that we've done this festival. Since the cases have been down even though things have kind of gone up hill lately but still very much safe to go out to the events at the moment but always keeping aware of everything going on.  

         Also within  the same day, I actually went to the Art show as it was on the same day plus some soup festival event going on at the Polish hall but hard to go to it all honestly but I would of gone. Anyways the art show was in the north in the city from where I'm from so a bit of a travel but worth it. Art was gorgeous and made me inspired to try and get sketching in my sketch book which I need to find as the one artist, she actually asked me if I like art and I told her I'm not much of an artist but do dabble from time to time honestly. We enjoyed both events and that is the post for today, thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed this blog and I will speak to you all tomorrow for the next activity we did.

Making Some Crucial Changes...

            ChrisBOnTheWeb Media has been changing so much since I got home from South Simcoe. First change was the dismantling of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media's Server and being deleted all together. That was a very tough decision to make honestly. However it wasn't very active as a community and I feel like at this moment it is not the right fit for ChrisBOnTheWeb Media moving forward. However we still have Nas, we still have ChrisBOnTheWeb Media Fan Page, the group page that we are currently running, Instagram & Threads are still in play. 

             Now our team has shrunk a bit. We no longer have have a site admin but our community manager, she wants to learn what I go through with keeping the website up to date on a regular basis. She wants to help out in anyway with the website. We need to get the 10 years tab up and running on here and we will. We continue to make adjustments and bare with us through this moment of change. Anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [10-13-2023]

          It is the end of the week, which means I as Community Manager give you guys the updates and I have some updates. First of all Chris has been busy with ChrisBOnTheWeb Media HQ or ChrisBOnTheWeb Studios. As you know, he's been busy with moving the desk around in a complete 360, side desk still in the position it is in even though they moved it to clean out on the carpet. Chris has stated that there is more room to move about and that was one of the key issues with the way the studio was setup originally. If you remember there wasn't a second desk but now has the other one. Studio looks good and a lot better then before.

            Today, Chris is recording Entertainment Man Podcast so he can edit and get it up and ready. He is starting to figure out that episodes on his own should be just uploaded not premiered. Not that he doesn't like hanging out every week with you all, just feels like it just uploading his solo episodes and interviews will be premiered for everyone to listen. He said this more then likely will take place in 2024 if he decides but I enjoy hanging out for half hour to an hour a week but it's his show he decides. There is no updates on Power Rangers Podcast but I know him and Larry talked about it as he updated me last night before going to bed. This weekend he will be in Bomanville Apple Festival and South Simcoe Railway this weekend and there will be content coming out Sunday and Monday both on social media and on this very blog so stay tuned for that. What's on The Timeline for 2024

            I know there has been questions what the timeline for 2024 looks like and this is what it can look like for 2024:

Entertainment Man Podcast: You can most definitely expect the Podcast back in the lineup for 2024 and it already been mentioned it would be back even for 2025 as well it's planned to return in 2025. Will remain on the days Sundays @ 1 pm EDT (YouTube/Audio ONLY) & every 2nd Thursday @ 1 pm EDT (Audio ONLY)

The CBOTW Show: Will be seeing some changes as with the end of Cosmic Fury we will be starting to work on another series preparing notes for it down the road. However you can expect Cosmic Fury in January/February then I will also be covering the seasons of Corner Gas which is Canadian show. I will be doing one off podcasts for Power Rangers probably with Larry and movies but nothing too strenuous. Later in the year I plan on Full House Seasons. There will be two days an episode will air and will probably rotate per week every 2nd Tuesday with yours truly on my own and every other Friday with Larry and I when we have episode to put out there.

         That is the timeline for next year as we continue on to grow both podcasts and the timeline moving forward into 2024 and things could change for the podcasts but will see how things are going to go. I See Larry Tomorrow since July.

             Tomorrow I am reunited with my right hand man, Senior Producer & Co Host, Larry since the end of July which was the last time we saw each other last. So it will be nice to see him once again even though it will be a social gathering for him and I as I am just getting into the swing of things with Power Rangers Podcast and getting things ready for November and we're probably a month away from recording at this point as I am aiming but will be adding December if I need to to finish up the seasons we need to finish. 

            One thing Larry doesn't know is that January 2024 we will be recording Cosmic Fury which is indeed the final season in the series we need to finish and there is still rumors there will be a 31st season but nothing is in iron pled at this moment as I said nothing is confirmed but I know him and I will get into a discussion about that too I'm sure. I know I probably will have some kind of update for him where I'm at but end of the week or by the end of the weekend for both Beast Morphers seasons so next week I can sit and record. That is practically the update I will be giving him this week. So an update will be given to him on that and we will be discussing things as well. However that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Food and Dessert Review (3 in 1 Blog!)

             I have a bit of a few reviews to do today from the past weekend. As you may know those who follow me on Social Media, I was golfing and I stopped into the local Angel's Creamery which is very close to me. We ordered a Milkshake, I forget what my dad had but I had the birthday cake milkshake and it was delicious! I mean it really tasted like a birthday cake, literally but in Ice Cream format! I would have it again in the future and obviously I would give it a most definite 10 out of 10 all day long. It was really, really good.

        Now Saturday which was a few days ago, we were on our way home from Halton County Radial Museum and we stopped locally for dinner at a Boston Pizza for you've guessed it right, Pizza. It had ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni and cheese on it which was a most definite 10 out of 10 all day long once again. On top of that we grabbed a Salted Caramel Panookie with caramel sauce and a scoop of Ice Cream on top and that also gets a 10 out of 10 as well. Halton County Radial Museum (Post # 1900)

              First of all Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to all our fan base out there. Most dedicated and loving fans out there. Today also marks our 1900th blog we have done here on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com... Wow talk about dedication from not just myself but my team both past and present that have contributed on this blog. Now onto the blog for today. As you guys know I was back at Halton for the second time this year for the annual fall colors. 

              Weather wise it wasn't too great. The occasional time we were outside, we would get rained on and seemed to be only when we were outside but we had the barn to duck into which we took a long look and a lot of progress especially on the Hamilton Street Railway car which is a lot more been done to it since our visit in June. The colors were absolutely beautiful. Same as our trip to Silent Lake last week was stunning in the colors as well. The volunteers were very knowledgeable with answering my questions especially with the 4300 streetcars that are not in the best of shape and ongoing projects they are currently working on and upcoming work too. We much appreciate the knowledge to our questions we had. Anyways that's the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [10-06-2023]

                  Well not much of an update from us. I know this is the end of the week updates but Chris is recording the podcast for this weekend, editing and scheduling it to be post as a reminder he is not available Sunday as he will be in Halton at the Streetcar Museum. Also he is working on Power Rangers finally. No bars held this time. He is adamant on getting it done with no distractions. He wants to get it finished for November so the two of them can finally get back to recording and finishing off this epic journey they have together. 

                 In a few hours if you are reading this at 11 am, EDT, Chris is going to be interviewed by Bob who was on Chris's podcast I believe earlier this year which can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMJqy_JH7HQ @ 2 pm EDT.  Excited to hear the interview and Chris jokes this is his once a year interview. I know he's kidding but he's made a lot of great connections in the last year and a half. Events The Next Few Weekends... (Changes)

             This weekend's schedule may change for Halton County Radial Museum. Reason why is threats of rain Saturday so this means Halton is on Sunday, no rain whatsoever this Sunday so I will be travelling with my dad to Halton this weekend to the Streetcar Museum and spending time with him. Will have my camera with me as always to capture pictures and what not at the museum, especially the special with the fantastic fall colors.

             Next week is going to be ridiculous and really over these events as I wanna spend time with you guys on the premieres but I can't cause I am on the road most of the time. However the following weekend after this one there are two events, Saturday, October 14th, 2023, Apple Festival in Bowmanville and Sunday, October 15th, 2023 for South Simcoe Railway but this all depends on the weather as it has been a very unpredictable here it's either hot, cool or rainy. 10th Anniversary Updates!

             I know 10th anniversary has been ramping up as Kelsie would say and I have some updates. We should be releasing the schedule January 1st, 2024. On November 14th, 2023, we will will have pictures up on the website and excited to share a walk down memory lane. Right now Kelsie and I are organizing some pictures from the past and it is ridiculously a lot of pictures and we are trying to strategize how we will put it up on the website and we do have an idea how to put it maybe by eras perhaps. However we are working on the entire project. 

           I plan on not going too overboard with the pages and right now have 2 pages at this point. We may add a 3rd page to the list with a list of activities and events going on throughout the year which we can say March we are starting with events for 10th anniversary but we do not wanna overdo it but I plan on events online every 2 weeks at the most actually but I have a plan don't worry! Learning To Follow The Schedule!

            I have been struggling with keeping with the schedule with ChrisBOnTheWeb Media, I mean I even have Kelsie with the Friday posts to try and lower some kind of stress with me. Now I am actually readjusting as the load is being evened out at the moment. I mean I didn't realize that I didn't have a proper daily schedule for myself? I mean I had one but it wasn't properly following it. This is why you have it down in several places and for me I have mainly my schedules on both PC desktops on the sticky notes I have on there and also my whiteboard which I have just recently updated the schedule.

          So this is now the time to take the new schedule in effect where you look at the schedule and the best advice I can give is to do what your schedule says on a regular basis and just what is suppose to be done not go a week ahead. Yes I am making reference to the fact I was planning to record the following week. I have to realize that is only reserved for when I am actually out of town for a week or two or whatever time I am away for. So I was making myself too overwhelmed and stressed and need to take things on a day to day basis.

          Someway, somehow even with that busy schedule of mine especially to figure out  to get the content done and ready to go for the week. This is why I have designated certain days for recording and working on the blogs. Blogs are usually done Sundays or majority of them are done for the week. I know I've got this with the new schedule and it will take some time with us getting the gang of it and getting into a routine. I appreciate you guys reading this rather lengthy post but please let me know if you'd like to see longer posts in the future and as always I will speak to you all tomorrow!

Avanti's Food Review

            I was at Avanti's in Oshawa with my entire family, good majority of it for my mom's 75th birthday which is worth celebrating actually. I have been there for a complete different event with our neighbors for our neighbors son's engagement here. I had the Ravioli with Ricotta cheese and spinach in it which topped with a cheese sauce of some sort. Pasta was light and very airy. Very cheesy and I mean cheesy! I went cheese crazy like Mary from Mary Makes It Easy! I would give the cheesy Ravioli a 15 out of 10... BEYOND expectations honestly. 

          Yes I had dessert! I went with something Mary did on The Good Stuff with Mary Berg and that was Tiramisu which this was my first time ever having it actually!  Tiramisu has lady fingers which you can easily get in the grocery store and mind you very delicious as a snack on it's own actually! The tiramisu was delicious and very creaming and soft and boy it had a very strong coffee taste but still good but I didn't get to bed till 1 am this morning as I was wired up a bit still. The Tiramisu gets a 15 out of 10 and again it EXCEEDED my expectations once again. That is the post for today, I will talk to you guys tomorrow for another blog post.

End of The Week Updates [09-29-2023]

               Another crazy week has concluded and first big update is Chris is no longer doing end of the week updates and I will be taking over the reigns each and every week to lower down the stress levels he is going through. He's been extremely busy with both Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show plus getting Power Rangers underway he's just been super, super busy behind the scenes. Yes he has been online along with myself and even Larry are working non stop to get things done. 

             The Discord Team has been keeping an eye on things while our team have been working constantly behind the scenes as Chris stated it is all hands on deck right now as both Chris and Larry want to finish up Power Rangers so they can prepare to finish up with Season 30 in 2024 as that is the plan. I know in January, Chris is preparing to work on Ghostwriter series from the 1990's as a nostalgia for both Chris and Larry growing up. So again, it is all hands on deck, we have Power Rangers wrapping up, 10th anniversary planning going on. Filming 5 min segments from The Entertainment Man Talk Show, so we are a very busy team. Minecraft Updates!

               Outside of my job as a graphic designer, community manager of ChrisBOnTheWeb, 10th anniversary planning and so on I've been asking Chris to turn on the Minecraft server as I have had the itch to work on the office tower. We have completed the structural part of the building standing 15 stories tall, the tallest structure we have built thus far on the building. Chris and I have taken a break but there is no way for the snow as we're in the snowy biome can come in unless it blows in but that wouldn't happen. Next step is to encase the building in the blue glass around this epic building. 

              We want to try and finish it by the end of the year at the most as it's been an on going project on the community server for the past several months. Maybe 5 - 6 months perhaps. I know Chris is going to be wanting to work on the subway next is the next big project to replace the above railway to the villagers and the other one to a random island as for the jungle that issue hasn't been addressed and sounds like the above railway will remain where it is for the foreseeable future. I will talk to you tomorrow as Chris has granted me the task of the end of the week updates from here on out.

10th Anniversary, Reunion Plans & More!

         Well 10th anniversary has see the turn for the worst to good times to bad but now we have a general idea what we want to do with it. The Entertainment Man Talk Show was in the talks but then again that has become a thing of the past now. With me lowering down what I wanted to some kind of reunion, there will be some kind of The Entertainment Man Talk Show reunion, one with Eric, one with Justin and Larry. Just two as I do not want to over do 10th anniversary. 

         This is why the schedule that we had was thrown away. Yes I'd like to do a reunion show of some sort but me to do a full in studio and on location isn't my thing anymore. I am a podcaster full time. Web series isn't my jam no more, I retired from that but still willing to do two podcasts dedicated to the series and the team celebrating 10 years together. Anyways that is the most, Kelsie will be covering for me tomorrow not cause I don't want to but she wants to do a gaming update for you as her and I have been busy on the Minecraft server so be on the lookout for that tomorrow and I will talk to you all on Friday!

Taught My Community Manager How To Do HTML!

           I have been doing is mentoring my Community Manager, Kelsie, big shoutout to her especially keeping things afloat while I was off for the weekend and maybe I will do that once a month but that is not the point of this post but I have been teaching her how to do HTML code which is the basis on this website. I plan on teaching her the menu bar code and the CSS eventually as she's asked me how it is done and the website is built which I have no problem telling people. I really have her brother to thank as he helped build the first ever menu bar back in 2016 when the transition to podcasting full time was made. 

        So I even have given her the opportunity to try it herself on a notepad on her computer and I took the code and put it on a side test and how easy it works out for her. I even showed her what happens when you put a broken code the craziness it causes to all the text. So this way she knows what happens if you screw up the code like I've done hundreds of time and the fact I had to redo the entire code. I love teaching people things and one of the reasons this blog and Entertainment Man exists right now is to teach you what I know. Maybe I will teach you the basis in the coming weeks but that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.
