10th Anniversary Updates!

              I know there hasn't been any plans and the reason behind that is because I am scaling down things a tad bit. I am leaving most of the celebrations to November 14th. It will be a day of fun activities. However November 14th, 2024 will be a very, very long day. However a few things I want to get done prior to November 14th:

- Get a nice banner designed for our 10th Anniversary with the help of Justin.

- Record the 10th Anniversary Podcast with Larry, Justin and I which has been postponed time and time again. 

- Plan out the event, the design, the layout with Larry.

- Food, drinks and snacks

- Double check the guest list and ensure it is the right amount as we do not want to overdo the list. 

- Activities during the event. Music, videos etc. 

- Evening plans with Larry and I as he is staying overnight, we will probably stream, video games and other interactive things with the fans. 

               Again I do not want to overdo things and we will make sure it is done but that is basically the plans that is being made for the big 10th anniversary. The party may be the big part but also the evening will be big as well. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Let's Have a Chat!

              Let me make this clear. I am not trying to sabotage anything. Yes Entertainment Man Podcast lost subscribers but I am slowly climbing back up. People will come and go when it comes to having a YouTube Channel. The views have been there and haters will hate but not letting this get to me... Entertainment Man Podcast has become a pillar of this community. This is why our community is so strong right now. Despite problems in the community with the drama we always bounce back no matter what. But, there is a but, we are no where near sabotaging anything, Far from it. 

              I  have been in this game for almost 19 years now. I may be just under the age of 40 but nowhere near sabotage whatsoever. I have learned a lot from the previous team.. Trust me TVPT (The Video Projects Team) was a mess and I know that being the former Founder and CEO of that group. I had no idea how to run a team but now have a better idea how things run from a business aspect of things and it really has paid off. The views are there and we are closing in on 800k website views and goes to show we have worked extremely hard on this website. Anyways that is the post, I had to rant a bit but all good, not letting haters get to us especially with 10th anniversary now less then 2 months away which I will talk more about on tomorrow's blog post.

Already in Phase 2 with this Website!

          We are already in phase 2 of the website plans. I know there are certain phases that have been changed due to the continuing changing dynamics of this community. So here are the remaining phases changed:

Phase 2: We are adding the embed of the video to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com for "Entertainment Man Podcast" as "The CBOTW Show" hasn't reached "video status as of yet. Timeline: Couple of weeks to a month of work on the page adding the embed. Haven't checked if the videos are embeddable yet.

Phase 3: Put 10th anniversary into archives one Midnight hits. Timeline: Midnight January 1st, 2025.

Phase 4: Launch The CBOTW Show on video aka YouTube for the first time. Timeline: January 1st, 2025.

Phase 5: Launch the get involved page for The CBOTW Show and get people involved with the team and community. Timeline: Mid January 2025

           However with Phase 2 which is now underway now, we can actually see some progress as people have really started to love our new layout. Anyways that is the post for today and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [09-13-2024]

                Another dramatic and crazy week is wrapped up time for some major updates! I mean major, major updates! As you can notice everything has been moved about, staff removed from our team page and staff added to the team page, to removing podcasts (audio) which is now under On Demand for both podcasts including archives from the website, podcasts and pages. Also we've added on get involved so now YOU guys can get involved and the first thing we've added to the website is collaborating on our blog by posting your own post on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com! Now there will be something for The CBOTW Show next year but all will be revealed in due time! 

               Our Discord Server is deleted and my Discord account is now scheduled to be deleted. I have no purpose for it anymore. I am focusing primarily on the blogs and podcasts moving forward, no more live streams. Those days are now behind us and we want to focus on creating content instead. So we are downsizing for right now. Speaking of that, we have gone ahead and deleted The CBOTW Show from YouTube as we are not ready yet. Also the main YouTube channel is deleted as well. I am doing what's best for the company and when I hit 100 plus followers on Facebook, I promise you guys I will go live weekly but only on Facebook to update and give you guys insight behind the scenes look at everything. Anyways those are all the updates, slowly making progress on the changes and will keep you all up to date by Monday on the progress but have a great weekend and talk to you all on Monday!

Two in One Food Review! [Former Genosha Hotel]

               This was about a week ago we returned to the Genosha Hotel which we had a tour of one of their apartments back in May. Anyways they mentioned a food court is opening and my dad and I took to the downtown core after switching the buses as the bus doesn't go downtown fully anymore as the routes have changed once again.... SMH! So we originally were going to not to grab a bite to eat but the Polish food was too good to say no to whatsoever. I had the sausage on a bun with fried onions and mustard and it wasn't a normal bun but on a baguette so the Polish Sausage was gigantic and filly but boy it was super good. I was very impressed! 30 out of 10 as it exceeded my expectations. My dad had some polish style pizza which also looked really good but on a baguette. 

               Now to part 2. We went for dessert which was ice cream floats and I haven't had an ice cream float since  Halton back in the early 2000's that's a good 10 plus years and it was really excellent. Was worth the money and it wasn't too expensive so it wasn't that bad. Only thing is it ended up overflowing which I wasn't happy about whatsoever but I managed it by stopping and walking. 10 out of 10 it was really good and a nice treat to have for a change. Anyways that is the post for today and I will speak to you all tomorrow for the end of the week updates.

Orono Fair 2024

                  On the weekend, I went to the Orono Fair as I always do every year with my dad. It's become a tradition for us to do the fair the weekend after Labor Day. So it was after a very bad rainfall, the track where the tractor pull was so the machine had to flatten enough so they could do the tractor pull. Had a breakdown of one of the tractors and it happens from time to time.  We look at the tractors as you can see in the photo to the right is me in front of a Farmall tractor. 

            We grabbed some food and watched the tractor pull which was awesome to sit back and watch the pull. Always one of the highlights of our visit. Also we visited the animals, chicken, roosters, ducks, Goose and much more. I think the hens, chickens and roosters have been getting a little ruckus with each other so they were in solitary confinement. I got a bit of an inspiration for a podcast for Entertainment Man regarding mental health which will be a cool idea but will see how I want to lay it all out. Website is getting work done for 2025!

                2025 is coming fast! There is a reason why our website looks completely different! We've been re-arranging stuff about on our website and the reason is we have a plan and their in phases and here is what you can expect:

Phase 1: We release the get involved tab with doing blog post articles as you know we have collaborated with other companies and websites in the past and want to keep this going and it's been clear in my mind this is something that is working for us! Timeline: The next day or so.

Phase 1B: Test things for The CBOTW Show on YouTube anticipating a full launch in 2025. Timeline:  The rest of the year on and off as much as Larry says we can test as he's now one of the top dogs with The CBOTW Show as a Exec Producer.

Phase 2: We are adding the embed of the video to ChrisBOnTheWeb.com for "Entertainment Man Podcast" as "The CBOTW Show" hasn't reached "video status as of yet. Timeline: Couple of weeks to a month of work on the page adding the embed. Haven't checked if the videos are embeddable yet.

Website and tech issues continue...

               It's the start of a brand new week and already problems are occurring. As you guys know I was suppose to have Entertainment Man Podcast out today but once again, both OBS (Open Broadcast Software) & Audacity for the Audio ONLY has become a problematic issue. However I had to shutdown and reload the programs a few times before it started to pick up my voice. Very, very strange honestly. Technology hasn't been on my side and the constant back and forth to switching programs for the video end has made me think maybe Prism Studio will be used for the podcast instead and OBS for gaming as OBS is more the way to go for it. However it is so confusing between the two programs. 

               Now ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is another story. Since all the drama which is gone, I've had to tweak a lot of things on the website, one being the partner page has been completely removed and deleted from our website. There is no need for it anymore. The team page has been redone just like our Discord server but another story for another time. I am considering this a reset and the main core 3, myself, Kevin and Larry are still going strong and we will continue on to be. Anyways that is the post for today, tomorrow I will have the Orono Fair Blog followed by a two in one Food Review but will talk to you tomorrow.

End of the Week Updates [09-06-2024]

                 Another week has come to a close to a crazy week. Anyways, I have finally finished up The CBOTW Show and I stayed up till 330 am working hard to have it up for 900 am EST sharp this morning which is now released and I'm happy. I promised you guys in a reel that I'd double up two different episodes with two The Simpsons episodes maybe just one but I am planning on doing Matilda instead on one of the two days. We'll see I will try and fit all 3 two next week and the following week another. I'm not sure at the moment. 

               Website has been overhauled entirely and looks a lot better and easy to understand. As you may know I stream now on Twitch but it is not listed anywhere on our website at the moment. Maybe in the nearby future I will but for right now it is not actually being listed at this current time. What's next on our list of projects for our content in the community? Planning to record Entertainment Man Podcast and the next two The CBOTW Show episodes today at some point and probably part of tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday if we need to as well. Sometimes you've got to make difficult decisions

             Just a heads up on a few things before I get into the post's main topic: For right now, I have suspended The CBOTW Show for going on video, pending a review. The next little change is the main channel is no more! It is PERMANENTLY dismantled. If I am up to it I will sporadically stream to Twitch but on a non schedule. The CBOTW Show will be still going up this evening, not sure what time to be exact but it will be up. Website has been completely overhauled and wish I did this sooner honestly but had a hard time with the tough decisions I had to make. 

            However with what I have said, change can be good but in the long run it can be definitely scary. But we have to remember, that we have to make difficult decisions and what I did above proves that in our life we have to make decisions, whether it is personal or with work, we all face decisions in life we do not like whatsoever but that is part of our life. We have to make decisions we don't like and what I said in the first paragraph, proves I had a hard time with the changes I didn't want to make. Hope this motivates you guys a bit, a bit of motivation on this Thursday and as always I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

The CBOTW Show continues to flourish!

         The CBOTW Show is going to start the testing phases for the video side as Chris and Larry have actually been on audio only. This is only testing and the odd episode will be on video. I'm sure you're going to ask why not go fully. Give em a few weeks to actually get everything set the way they want to do it. I believe what I have been told behind the scenes, they are planning to start it fully in January but that will probably change.

              How will this work? Exactly like "Entertainment Man Podcast" premiere's each and every week but on Wednesday's @ 6 pm EST instead. I know this interferes with Chris's Streams. He has to figure that part out. The one thing I have suggested is move The CBOTW Show to Thursdays where "Entertainment Man" originally had episodes so the great news is starting this week The CBOTW Show will be moving to Thursdays 

              Also my thought process with the end of the year, well my heads been all over the place lately with what I want to do and been thinking on just pre-recording and premiering them for you guys so this makes things a ton easier especially around the holidays. Typical I want to try to have 52 episodes per year which is a lot but that is why I rather pre-record then live shows but you never know what the future brings, right? Anyways that is the post for today and stay tuned as The CBOTW Show is going to be premiere tonight for the last time when we switch days next week. I will talk about it Friday, I promise!

Discord, Podcasts & Finalizing!

               The Discord is now finished! After a long fought battle to getting the Discord done, it is done! https://discord.gg/GPynvVVAW9  So this the final time I am going to touch or delete something. This is part of permanent changes that are going on. 

              Now the Schedule is being tweaked a tad bit to fit everything into place. I was careless to the program  schedule and Witchbucket, big shoutout to him that has inspired me to rearrange everything. So here is our new schedule:

Sundays: 1 pm EST- Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY)

Monday - Friday's: 11 am EST- Daily Blog

Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays: Live Stream on the main YouTube Channel, ChrisBOnTheWeb Media

Tuesday's: 1 pm EST- Video on the main YouTube Channel, ChrisBOnTheWeb Media

Thursday's: 6 pm EST- The CBOTW Show (YouTube/Audio ONLY)

Saturday's: 11 am EST- Bonus Blog (Randomly)

                Lots of content throughout the week and excited for this schedule and now there can be streams on the weekend if you guys ask for one. I am always open to that. Wasn't Sure if I Said No Blog Today?

               Today I wasn't sure I was going to blog at all. I was working a bit last night but only on the server at the time and this morning as well. However hopefully by the time you guys read this, the Discord Server is finished entirely and no more tinkering with it for the foreseeable future. However today there is nothing else work wise and the server isn't really any work honestly. Just tinkering with it and making sure it is 100% completed.

             After the main frame of the entire server is finished, I am going to work on Phase 2, the Members Only section on the server. As we await membership as we continue to grow over on Entertainment Man Podcast each and everyday we are slowly creeping to 200 subscribers and so on. Always go to be prepared ahead of time and nobody can really access it till it actually happens. Also in an hour I am going live for 6 straight hours. Will make sure I take a few minutes to get water or a snack, etc. but will make sure I have majority of those in studio with me. Anyways that is the post today, Happy Labor Day and as always I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [08-30-2024]

                    Another week has come and gone and time for another update. So today I am trying my hardest to get The CBOTW Show out for you guys and I feel bad and started to doubt everything and starting to give up getting The CBOTW Show up today but working hard to getting it all done and edited and I am sure I will get it done fast and the furious so it will be up for the right time. 

             So once all of this is done and edited then we can move on to preparing other shows. I still have to finish the Discord server so I can make it also public for you guys as well. So still a ton of work to be done and excited for the coming week. I already have a solo episode planned out so I'm ahead of schedule already for the following week. Just a heads up the next 3 Wednesdays will be one of the 3 Guardians of the Galaxy movies and excited to release it via video and audio only. Anyways those are the updates and as always talk to you all on Tuesday as we will be shutdown on Monday for Labor Day. Have a great long weekend!

Going with a new plan...

            What I mean by the title is that is trying to follow the schedule. Now I know the schedule is to aim for 4 pm EST today for The CBOTW Show but we'll see how it goes but there is only so much I can do. But this is the schedule I want to follow:

Monday - Fridays (Sometimes Saturdays): Daily blog post.

Wednesday: Record a new episode of Entertainment Man Podcast on weeks there isn't an interview.

Friday: Record a new episode of The CBOTW Show

             With the recording schedule, I hope to follow this and it helps moving forward to get episodes out in a better timely matter and no more delays. Today has been an eye opener and I am finally making things right with you guys as we move forward with other episodes, collabs and what not. Anyways that is the blog for today, I will keep you guys updated but I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Kars on King 2024!

 

            Last week I went to Kars on King, locally. I've been doing this for many, many years with both my dad and my mom, my niece and nephew. But anyways I got to go to the event and we actually had a lot of fun. Lots of cars but I was under a lot of pressure in time to get back to record with Mary but that was rescheduled to this week but it will be done. I noticed on the main road, King Street it was only on one side and it's because of the changes to the road and extra sidewalk on the one side but I love the layout of the street now. Makes the downtown more lively. 

             Of course the Mr. Bean car made an appearance and obviously you guys know by now I am a big Mr. Bean fan. No DeLorean this time around and it was a few years ago they had one there which was really cool to see. But also there was entertainment and the one band was playing "My Girl" by the Temptations. Anyways that will be a wrap for this blog and I will talk to you all this afternoon for a second post to make up for yesterday.

You Cannot Predict Future Plans!

                  I know, I know I did it again but anyways today I would like to talk about is I cannot predict the future. This is pertaining to not really anything in particular but I mentioned to the mod team member that I do not know how long Entertainment Man Podcast will be around and that's ok. Sometimes we do not know what the future brings. It is OK to feel the unknown when it comes not knowing what the future brings. 

                  I honestly am taking the podcast one week at a time and that is probably the best advice I can give you guys to take one thing at a time. This way you are not overwhelmed and nobody can really predict the future. The future is whatever you make it and this is a quote from Doc Brown from the movie Back To The Future. Also he quoted from the movie to make it a good one. This hits home with me actually and it is very true. Only we can create our future and future plans, nobody else but you. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Starting to Make Good Progress but Work in Progress!

             I have been struggling with and I did it again. I call this unacceptable. For the longest time I have been on schedule for years now and I have fallen off the plateau so to speak but progress is being made. I am getting what is required done for the next upcoming episodes. I know The CBOTW Show is being recorded today or tomorrow at some point of time but there will be an episode this week. I am planning to get The CBOTW Show off hiatus. 

            However progress is being made with all of this and taking things one thing at a time. Tomorrow will be another turning point for me, I have two shows, one for Entertainment Man Podcast and The CBOTW Show probably recorded in the morning prior to Entertainment Man Podcast. I already know I will be caught up and will be on a better roll with all of this. Anyways I am sorry this is late, I need to do better and I hope today is a wake up call for me but I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of the Week Updates [08-23-2024]

                So another crazy week. Yeah story of my life from stressing out to procrastinating and I need to really stop doing that honestly and get it all done ahead of schedule but don't worry I will have all 3 movies done for tonight plus attending Kars on King which it's that time again for the event and probably will be up Monday to talk about the event or even possibly a bonus blog tomorrow perhaps as well. We'll see how things are. Not sure what is on tap for tomorrow whether I'm heading north for the Motor Fest 2024.

             Anyways got Kars on Kings that will be up tomorrow or Monday but I said Monday on my Instagram story so sticking to that day technically. So I know this was suppose to be up this morning but I got busy preparing for the collaboration with Mary which is postponed and will be rescheduled when she's free. Anyways I have a bit of an announcement The CBOTW Show will be returning next week on Audio ONLY. The collab with Mary we will be taking a week after recording to edit everything together so next week August 28th will be a new episode (Audio ONLY) and the 3 with Mary will be Video and Audio ONLY and probably till Larry returns we will start testing out video here and there with the podcast too. Anyways those are the updates and I'm sorry this is going up at midnight on a Saturday morning but Monday everything is going back to normal for podcasts and blogs, will make sure everything is out on time for once. Minecraft Updates! [08-22-2024]

               So as you know I haven't been streaming Minecraft minus yesterday we were fooling around with the main hub area with a double track which can be very helpful plus an area for extra minecarts which is great and I think today if I do stream again which I think I'm going to for about an hour, I will continue to work on the subway track down that one area for sure! It looks really, really good! I am quite impressed with my skills on this. 

              Because if I was to actually continue on the line with two then it would take forever to build it around the existing tracks so this is better. The second track also serves the other line that goes to the villagers and that tall, tall tower. Also I have been actually cleared out all the trees and looks better bare now this way we can build stuff around what we have on the property line. Anyways those are the updates, I will talk to you all tomorrow for the end of the week updates.
