11 Years of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media!

               11 Years! 11 Years, I cannot believe it nor fathom that we have come this far as a company and team. We started this thing at a very small scale and have grown greatly over the years and the last year and a half to 2 years has been amazing as our company has gotten a ton of views on our site and content. I guess I have Entertainment Man Podcast to thank for that and now that it's become a thing of our past now.

             However our future is very, very bright for us! As we are heading into 2026 soon, new projects and continuing to collab with people. This talk show is new and something different but you may see some familar faces on Friday night show, you never know! I am going to make sure they get onto our show as we want to continue with the interviews. Also Streaming has become huge for us and has proved to be successful even with the bots spamming us 2 - 3 to 4 times a stream. LOL. 

            I want to thank my team who has had my back even when I stepped down as CEO and even when I returned as of Midnight this morning. I will explain on a post tomorrow. Also would like to thank my family and friends for always supporting this dream. Finally I want to thank you guys for the love and support over the years and here’s to another amazing year and many years to come! 🍻 I hope to see you all tonight for the 6 hour long stream tonight starting @ 6 pm EST and I will talk to you all Monday!

Tech Work Begins for the Future of The CBOTW Show- TV & Movies!

              The Tech work for the future episodes with Larry has begun today as Larry is here in the studio with me hanging out we have decided to do some technical work with him and I recording episodes in the very nearby future. I know we still have 2 left one on video/audio and the other just audio only due to me accidently deleting the video episode. Then nothing till January then we are off the air for the foreseeable future until Mr. Larry is ready to get back into it and gives me time to work on Ghostwriter right to the end of the series. 

             So basically the tech work being done is for a call between Larry and I and we are not sure what we will be using at the moment. I am thinking Streamyard but not 100% sure but we will decide that when we get ready. I'd like to use Discord as much as possible but we currently don't have a server so that is so out of the question. What I am thinking is using Streamyard in it's entirety as I've had complaints that I'm not sure where the call will be well I am most definitely going to be utilizing streamyard for major of the shows, however the one with Shane and I will be using Riverside. Spotify Falsely Claiming a Copyright.... [I'm Not Pleased ONE BIT!]

           I don't think I have a reason to be mad, yeah I got blocked in certain countries, USA being one of them but it was my fault putting that music only but they didnt need to send me copyright notice after copyright notice. I ended up spamming the same reply again and again in real frustration and I think I got the message to them that the episodes were removed from our feeds to correct the issue and they continued to put claim after claim. 

           I was starting to think ohh... we may have to go back to YouTube which I am not a fan of anymore because of the trolls and one specific group that turned their backs on us. However I know that there is a solution to everything and yeah I threatened to go back to another site we once used and that might of helped but threatening to abandon a site doesn't really help. I'm sorry if I am ranting but I am not pleased one bit but least it has stopped for now. I will talk to you all soon on another blog post.

Philthy Philly's [Royal Winter Fair 2025]

        So for supper @ The Royal Winter Fair in Toronto, I had a staple from New York City called a Bronx Chopped Cheese which has ground beef, cheese, onions, lettuce, choice of Tomatoes if you wish ketchup, mustard and Mayonaise but it is the individual's taste and choice. However I decided to go with the entire thing, as it's a new experience for me. Watching them cool it, I wish I was able to take pictures of it being cooked but I didn't for obvious reasons and they were so dilligent when putting it in the roll. 

      The sandwich itself, was delicious, gooey and messy but gooey and messy means it was really, really good! I enjoyed it and it wasn't really that filling of a sandwich. Was light in the stomach actually. Was perfect after that slice of pizza from Pizza Pizza in the Coca Cola Colisieum. I would rate the Chopped Cheese Sandwich a 20 out of 10 as it exceeds my expectations and I will definitely have it again in the future. That is my blog post for today, enjoyed the rest of the weekend and I should be back on Tuesday for another blog post.

The Royal Winter Fair 2025!

        Yesterday my dad and I went to the Royal Winter Fair @ Exhibition Place in Toronto as it's an annual event and tradition that we do each and every year. Basicially the same thing this year with similar businesses promoting but we did a pile of taste testing as you know by our reels on Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok. Was neat to interact with them too and especially when it came to the Old Cheddar, Turkey the dips and the Oyster Mushrooms. 

       We walked around for a while then came back  to the show floor to look around and we did that several times and the animals came towards the end with the cows and the usual, Angus Beef cattle, Holstein, Short Horn and a few Long Horn Cows which we haven't seen in ages since I was a lot younger. Of course the goats being silly trying to eat the plastic and I was scratching it's head while it was distracted by the plastic tie down that was on the fence. I lost how many goats were standing up against the fence but was funny in a way. We had supper which I have a review to come out later on but then my dad got coffee and two cookies and we ended up getting another for free which was nice of them, not necessary but nice. We finally went to the Horse Palace and enjoyed our treats and wondered about looking at some of the horses and got talking to a horse and her ears were moving a lot so she liked that we stopped to see her and a champion too as she won a competition, not sure if it was the Royal or another but that will be the post for now, I will talk to you guys in a couple of hours for the food review.

       From the Bottom of my heart, I want to thank you all for listening to Entertainment Man Podcast for the last 5 years it was on the air. It has been a fun ride and over 300 + episodes and as we say goodbye to this show, we have nothing but wonderful memories of the show and the amazing guests on the show over the years! We thank the wonderful guests that has come onto the podcast between 2022 - 2025 for giving your time to come on promote your podcast, content, company, business, I am happy to have help you guys out.

     

         This is not goodbye for good, I will be around, still running The CBOTW Show in the TV & Movies department with a potential new opportunity coming for expansion in 2026 and of course After Hours with Shane and Chris which pre-production is going great and updates are coming soon with the development of the show which is under way. Finally there is a whole pile of thank-yous: My family always there and having to put up with my bad moods cause of the trolls and I'm smiling as I write this but they have been there through the thick and thin of things. I would like to thank all my friends that supported the podcast, Larry, Justin, Eric, Sheldon, Terry, Angie, my neighbors on my street. I once again would like to thank my guests that have came on the show, some once some numerous times and the friendships I made are still going strong. Finally I want to thank the entire CBOTW Media Community in our circle and out for always having my back especially during my Mental Health issues I was facing or I was very sick and in bed for weeks at a time, I appreciate the patience and support and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Royal Winter Fair 2025 tomorrow!

               Officially I will be heading to the 102nd Royal Agricultural Winter Fair at Exhibition Place in Toronto! It is that time of the year where I am going to the Royal once again. I always enjoy going to this event and honestly I thought I'd never get to go back to the event after Covid-19 but I am glad I got to. I've been going for the past I think 2 years since 2023 and this year was a bit tough with the bad weather. However, my dad and I are going on Friday rain or shine and it's not very long walk from the GO to the entrance of the Royal.

         I will try and do a couple of videos here and there and a lot of pictures taken during the event but it will be have the camera hidden as always and I kind of like being unknown at some of these events. I didn't realize that this year has gone so fast but I am excited to share my adventure on Saturday with a special blog post but as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

This Weekend Will be Busy!

           This weekend will be a busy one for us as we will be editing so much ti is just unreal how much content we have to edit, put together and have ready at the helm for November, December and January. I am also working on the shorts/reels for the episodes and one of the episodes doesn't have video as I carelessly erased the entire video version of the podcast so now I have 3 episodes video and 1 without but what can you do and at least I have an actual audio only.

           So we hope to complete all of those as next week I want to tackle the website stuf that needs to be done. Either way we will continue to get all of the things completed in a timely fashion but first is all the podcasts are to be done and today will be recording the podcast for Sunday and the first and important thing after I get the Motivational Fridays done. Anyways that is today's post and as always I will talk to you all on Monday, have a great weekend!

Last Day of Recording with Larry for a while!

            Today marks our last day in the studio together recording a podcast together till after he moves away up north which our studio will be very, very quiet without him present with laughter and jokes. I'm sure I may see him one more time before and maybe a lunch, I do not know but if not we will make the best out of our last day not just recording but hanging out.  I am not sure what 2 weeks tomorrow brings so we are acting like it is our last. 

             I will make sure to capture on camera a lot of things that we do throughout the day and post it over the weekend for you guys plus this weekend will be a busy one but will talk tomorrow about that. However we will have video footage and pictures to share this weekend and it will be a busy weekend with content on our social medias. Anyways we will make it a great day together and capture the moment the final time we meet and say so long for now but remember what I said anything is possible for the start of November but that will be the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Gaming Updates....

            Well I will start with the bad news... I am done with Grocery Store Simulator...  The lag is unreal and unplayable so I am moving and big shoutout to our new fans who is a mod for us on stream has helped us out greatly with Super Market Simulator and we are getting closer to being debt free and I am going to actually grind this weekend on the game see if I can get this debt down to bare minimum. 

           Minecraft: I am currently working on the bowl of the actual new rink and also been working on the lights on the other rink so I am kind of back and forth between the two but I do want to finish the main rink. However I hit a bit of a bump in the road and have lowered the ice so that is the work in progress and I worked on it this morning before working on other things in preparation for the Corner Gas podcast this morning with Bob. Anyways that is the blog for today and as always talk tomorrow!

Ganster Cheese-- Gangster Cheeseburger Grilled Cheese!

              Last week, I was on a bit of a journey up to Uxbridge, Ontario to see what was going on with the trains from the former York-Durham Railway and go for a long 45 minute walk out on the abandoned railway portion which the tracks have been pulled up a long time ago. Was a nice walk and I actually got a good amount of steps in when it came to the walk.

             Afterwards we went to Gangster Cheese for a Grilled Cheese sandwich but completely different from what we are mostly use to. I have a Cheeseburger Grilled cheeseburger with hamburger meet aka Beef with fries. The sandwich was delicious and it actually works with ground beef that was in there. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the fries were perfect, crispy and lightly salted as too much salt on fries isn't very appetizing but these were done just perfect. The staff were super friendly and helpful and our food came to us in a timely matter. We will be back in the very nearby future. Been working on website stuff!

              I have been dabbling with the website a tiny bit and it will be done next week once all the podcasts pages will be worked on and we will get all the players but as I said it may take us a while to work on all of this so please do be patient. We will keep the current players on the episodes till we reach that particular point of working on it. However this may take weeks maybe month or so perhaps. It is hard to tell but been dabbling around with the site trying out new things including layouts and what not. 

           I haven't posted the changes but just been working around on things and that's OK if I am doing that but letting you guys know I have been dabbling around the site so you may see a couple of changes and there will be more coming but one step at a time. This week is catching up on episodes recording and editing then next week we go into the next phase of things. But anyways that is the post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Just For Halibut Review!

           I was up north for Saturday and part of Sunday at my aunt and uncles and we went into Bobcaygen to a little fish place called Just for Halibut and here is my review: I had the Halibut and chips with coleslaw on the side was delicious the fish crispy and good fries also crispy and good. The server Sara was amazing, so friendly and positive! Will be back next time my parents and i are up.

          That is what I said about the resturant and it was truly an amazing and the fish itself I thought they were regular pieces but they were pretty massive but either way sooo good. Love the French Fries aka the chips were crispy and good. Yeah I didn't fish everything up but still it was such a wonderful evening out for dinner with the family. Will be back in the future might try the pickerel or even the white fish. I have my list of meals on my list. Anyways that is post 1 of 2 for today to make up for last week's lack of posts and I will talk to you all tonight @ 6 pm EST.

Entertainment Man Podcast Chat...

            I know the episodes aren't doing well and it will take time for the podcast rebound as a lot of the views came from YouTube. I know and realize there was a petition out there for the podcast to go to video and perhaps, perhaps if it went video then things would most definitely change in the way of views maybe. I will be trying that this week for the first time since end of August 2025 Spotify video for this podcast will happen.

          I am all for trying it out and seeing what works and what doesn't work and this is something that works for the show. I do not want to make that decision to cancel it after this year and it goes away and not make a return to air whatsoever but not going to give up so easily but that is the post for today, enjoy the double podcast this afternoon and tonight and I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Time for some Updates!

            The last 24 hours or so has been let's just say interesting. There is a bunch of questions that came in through our email and here is some answers:

No CEO? Will there be another one appointed? The answer is NO.  Right now we have promoted Kevin to the Director of Operations and helps run the day to day. He's online a lot and is perfect for this job. I have an assistant, Sadie that helps me with the content back end of things, including the website too! 

After Hours with Shane and Chris Update? We are officially putting this show as a talk show and I have a new lapel mic as I keep losing the other one and find it and it is a rotating door with me actually.

Newsletter- Who is going to be doing the Newsletters? Sadie my assistant will relay any news that we have from the company as she's an assistant in the company.

Podcasts and Halloween!

                Guess what! I'm back with another blog! Surprise! So with next week being Halloween our schedule will be a lot more jammed packed in the way of schedule and one of the things I am working on today along with Entertainment Man Podcast for this weekend but next week what I've counted is 4 podcasts in the making which is the most I think that we ever put out in a week's worth of content. Bowmanville Apple Festival 2025!

             Saturday back on the weekend, my parents and I went to the Bowmanville Apple Festival. We had a hard time finding some parking but we did find some after all which was really good news. I felt like it was the last year I would do the events in Bowmanville but we have a plan for 2026 when it comes to the two events moving forward. Anyways it was packed and I really love the fact it is a very packed event. 

           So many different vendors locally, Algoma Orchards, had a lot of Apples being sold of course Honey, Maple Syrup which we tried some and even we tried mini Apple Muffins which was awesome and I want to try making some here at home and I will let you all know how it goes when and if I do that. We also discovered a market that also has a cafe at the front and the market at the back with a ton of things to buy. I also tried Radish seed greens and it was strong and I coughed a bit but got it down. Also tried a dry rub for meat and had garlic and pepper taste and it was also good. We enjoyed the event and I look forward to the Royal Winter Fair next month and I will speak you all soon.

Halton County Radial Museum Story

       I know I haven't been the best with actually posting up here and there but I am still here and post from time to time but mostly the new CEO posts but that's not what I wanted to talk about. Back on Sunday I was at Halton and nothing really to report but got some tidbits what was going on but not my place to actually say but we were head back to the main station hub where we get all the streetcar and what did we see? A Porcupine! Of all things.

               I have never seen one in person before but mind you we were in the streetcar, # 4611 a PCC Streetcar and I was filming which was great and I hope the video works on here but I was lucky I had the camera actually rolling. This is why the vlogging camera should of been with me since the other camera is out of commission due to the zoom isn't working but was a cool story I had to share and I hope you guys enjoy it and I will talk to you all soon.

Podcast Pages Players back to it's Original Player!

           This is in preparation mode as we are seeing what we need to switch back to the old players and if I remember off the top of my head Everything About Reality TV & Power Rangers Collaboration which is in our Archives have the old players already placed on the page but we will check when we start adding back in the old players. We may have to upload some episodes or a bunch of them as we did take a break from that player but that's OK though. 

          We will explore everything and see what needs to be completed and it will be released at the same time once it has been completed. If you see some pages that are already done don't be alarmed, we will announce once all the work is completed. This shouldn't take too, too long honestly.  Once I get started in replacing the players, I should get into a good rhythm and it will be completed quickly but I need to work on some things first for next week or so, please be patient but that will be it for the second blog. I'm sorry no blog yesterday, was out of town and no time to write anything and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

After Hours a New Talk Show Since 2016?

             For the first time in almost 10 years, ChrisBOnTheWeb Media has it's first talk show since The Entertainment Man Talk Show. Yeah it's quite a gap between and as you know we have been busy with the podcasts in general, blogs, events and even streaming as well. I am excited to say this is history in the making and it was only the matter of time that something like this would actually happen. 

            Now I have been testing two platforms, however I think I am going to stick to the one platform, YouTube. I think it is just best to keep it simple and easy and leave Kick for streaming, so I am figuring things out on stuff and I think I know what I will be doing. There will be achives in case YouTube pulls us down and we will be sure that never happens. Anyways you of course can listen to the show after it airs on the YouTube Channel and also on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com, just our website there will be no chat on our website, you will need to have a Google account but we haven't gotten that far into it but YouTube is the primary focus. Anyways that is the post for now, there will be one more @ 11 am EST on top of the other blogs before the podcasts come right out for you guys but I will speak to you then.
