Let's Talk Entertainment Man Podcast Shorts!

                Entertainment Man Podcast has been firing on all cylinders with the Shorts game. I think I have gotten into a good rhythm with editing shorts and the podcast itself and this is a good start for me when it comes to podcasting. I am amazed how hard I've worked on the shorts and the views have been up and good that I am getting some views but still  got a lot of work to do with the channel and that's why I am only focusing on the two channels for now. 

              I love to highlight the upcoming episode which I will be doing a few days prior and after. It was suggested to me in a meeting I had this week and I am so excited for a new era of the podcast. YouTube Shorts has helped improve the numbers on the channel and gain a whole pile of subscribers so the haters can doubt the podcast all they want cause this is the most subscribers I have gotten ever. Very proud of that but anyways that is today's post for today and reminder we are back to Five days a week so Kelsie will be doing the end of the week updates so I will be talking to you on Monday and I have a pile of content for the first 2 days of the week but I will talk to you all then.

Happy 6th Anniversary The CBOTW Show!

             I know The CBOTW Show has had it's history of going on and off the air a ton and we struggled to keep it afloat and on the air. However so proud of it's successes and how much we have grown so much as a podcast even with it every other week on our schedule. When we started this, we had two podcasts listed: Music City on CMT Channel & of course Power Rangers as well then it went off air in 2019 and didn't try and return till 2021 for a short time till it was put on the shelf indefinitely up to this year when it was brought back 2 years, 2 months later in 2023 when Larry and I relaunched.

             We just finished off recently Power Rangers and now has been a thing of the past as we've both moved on from that. It has been interesting the transition from that series to other movies and TV series honestly. I am very content with what we have going for the podcasts moving forward especially on it's new schedule starting July 5th, 2024. Anyways that is the blog post for today and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Feeling Good About The Decisions I Made!

              I kind of knew that the new schedule wasn't balanced whatsoever. Lately I have struggled with making decisions lately and that has been a problem lately as I haven't been able to make a decision with things here in the studio and priorities are not in check right now. However I have made a decision with the schedule and I truly now feel like it's going to work. Going to be focusing on Entertainment Man Podcast Sundays and Wednesdays which I will have a set day for recording episodes as a solo will be on a Friday and interviews will be whenever the guest is available which will any of the days I am free. 

                The CBOTW Show is biweekly, every second week on Audio ONLY and isn't the main focus but it is there and we record every other week so it's not 100% our focus but it will still air every other week. So the decision to focus on Entertainment Man Podcast was a very tough decision but least The CBOTW Show is still going to be recorded and posted just 2nd on the list to get done. 

                 I hope this makes sense to you guys and I feel a lot better knowing this is the schedule I want to work with moving forward. I will talk about Entertainment Man more on Thursday's post as a part 2 how it's going to work with the shorts but till then I will talk to you guys tomorrow.

Firing on All Cylinders Recently

            Things may have gone wonky with our schedules for content, missing episode of Entertainment Man Podcast last Wednesday to the YouTube Shorts not going out on time and we actually or I posted a bunch of stuff in the last 24 hours to catch up on the channel content. Now you see why I do not want to put The CBOTW Show up on YouTube as of yet, maybe not at all. I haven't determined what the plan with that is right at this moment. 

            However the last 24 hours I have been firing on all cylinders catching up, determined to get all the editing done so I can work on podcast interviews for this week and the next 2 weeks for the podcast.  Then the next plan is to work on writing new episodes of both podcasts. Anyways that is the post, I wanted to make this a quick blog post and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

End of The Week Updates [06-01-2024]

            Happy first day of June to you all. Summer is approaching us and I can say Chris is planning to stream a ton this summer only on YouTube. Now if you didn't know he is currently on a one week ban from Twitch and is on his first strike but he has decided to NOT return to Twitch after the ban is up. He will be continuing on with YouTube and the occasional Facebook Fan Page weekly as well. We're excited for the next steps he's going to be taking with this community. 

          He admitted that YouTube has started to pick up on him in the way of views so he wants to continue to grow, continue to get more subscribers and building this community as it's grown quite a lot lately and we are very proud of what we have built, Chris is of course. The rest of this weekend, we will be editing and scheduling the podcasts. You will see shorts from last Sunday's episode up today throughout the day but that will do it for my post, enjoy the rest of your weekend and week and speak to you all next week.

Busy Editing Podcasts and updates!

             With all the episodes recorded, we are busy editing things getting all the episodes out. As for the missing clips I am going to forgo those for the week and will start back with shorts on Monday and will make sure it goes out to you guys and I apologize for lack of content. We've been swamped with things but now that things have settled down, I can start catching up with those. I feel bad enough missing the Wednesday episode which I will be making up next Wednesday at 3 pm EST. Next week the schedule will be jammed packed with episodes but I promise it will be entertaining. Once I finishing editing by the end of this weekend, I will be working on all the interviews that I have coming up. Anyways that is the post for today, I will as always talk to you all on Monday, have a great weekend!

Everything Has Gotten Crazy for us.

           So much is happening at once and got some many things to still get done:

- Work on recording the bonus episode of the podcast

- Finishing up interviews prep for the podcast

- Edit the entire 3 podcasts Larry and I recorded  

- Work on future episodes of Entertainment Man Podcast   

- Edit the bonus episode for next week

             So there is a ton of stuff that I need to finish so I am not sure if I will be able to get streams in this weekend but certainly will try my best to get those in too. One step at a time though that's all I can do really anyways that is the post for today as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Podcast Updates-- Entertainment Man & The CBOTW Show

             Now that the schedule has been released I want to talk more what you can expect with this schedule and how much more freedom both podcasts have together. Meaning I could potentially start doing interviews live more often and the opportunity for growth of Entertainment Man Podcast. I've been thinking about this recently and these plans make total sense to me now. I was regretting the decision but now that I think about it all, it totally makes a ton of sense. 

            With The CBOTW Show, I am planning to post to Audio ONLY for the foreseeable future but I am planning to expand to YouTube eventually, not right at this present but down the road in the very nearby future. I want to take baby steps with all these changes and I do not want to expand too fast and I think that is the biggest problem we have had in the past was rushing into things too fast. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Internet Issues Means Very Late Post!

             Our internet provider went down once again for hours on end. So any work didn't recommence till after my dentist appointment this morning so I apologize for the inconvenience for lateness and that is unacceptable in but what can you do, this stuff happens and it's beyond our control, really is. This why pre-writing blogs is important and trust me I am writing one for tomorrow and the next couple of days this way there is one that does go out everyday at this point. 

            Sometimes you go through something and it is beyond control and maybe this is a topic I should really talk about on a podcast, more at length. Another example is archive.org not working and it was their end that went down and normally they ARE SOLID but we've experienced a few hiccups recently but it is what it is. Anyways tomorrow I will be back on schedule with a new post and it's an update on the podcasts moving forward but for now I am deeply sorry for no blog post today and will be back on schedule tomorrow!

OFFICIAL Content Schedule Press Release

             Good Morning!  Here is our new schedule for 2025 as we are making some major changes to fix some problems within our content schedule:

Sundays: 1 pm EST- Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube/Audio ONLY)

                  7 pm EST- Gaming Stream

Monday - Fridays: 11 am EST- Daily Blog

Monday - Wednesdays: 3 pm EST- Entertainment Man Podcast (YouTube Short)

Wednesdays: 1 pm EST- The CBOTW Show (Audio ONLY)

Saturdays: 11 am EST- End of The Week Blog

                      7 pm EST- Just Chatting Stream

           There is the schedule, it is a lot more simpler and easy to understand. This is the final schedule for 2025. I am ready for these changes with the bonus episode of Entertainment Man going away and down to a weekly schedule as well as The CBOTW Show. That is today's post and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

End of The Week Updates [05-25-2024]

                There is really big updates as Chris has been trying his hardest to get episodes done and I am sorry we've ghosted you in updates today but Chris has even mentioned he has recorded the episode for tomorrow and all it needs is editing now. He will have that done tonight. Also when he gets back he will be getting back into finishing up Wednesday episode to writing out notes and getting it recorded and edited. Also next week he's mentioned a recording sessions with Larry but not sure what it is technically. 

              I know Chris will have a ton of episodes coming up for interviews and you never know if they will be LIVE but excited for them all. He's hinted two are on the docket are to be live on the air one next week and the other few weeks later with Shane but either way excited to listen to both of the podcasts coming up. Chris will be appearing on several podcasts as a guest and excited to hear them. That is the updates, I will talk to you all next Saturday.

Learning to Take Small Steps!

              In the last 2 months, I have learned to take smaller steps. As you know by now with all these changes I have learned a lot about myself and what I have learned is to take smaller steps. The CBOTW Show on YouTube too soon that was a big wake up call for me knowing that it was way too soon to go to YouTube for that podcast so we are waiting till January 2026. Also I have learned with the smaller steps to check to make sure it works meaning the episode is completely playable which I have done since the issues occurred. 

             So smaller steps means taking it one thing at a time. I am continuing to focus on The CBOTW Show on Audio ONLY for the next year before making the jump to Video (YouTube) Also getting use to the weekly schedule with both podcasts on Sundays for Entertainment Man and Wednesdays for The CBOTW Show. It will take some time for us to get readjusted to a schedule that will soon make a lot more sense and less confusion. Anyways that is today's post and as always I will talk to you all Monday!

Made Changes (Full Explanation)

              The website was in dire need of updates once again as it was becoming a bit of a thorn in my side. Content Schedule got an overhaul, Videos page got an overhaul, I even updated Entertainment Man Podcast which wasn't updated as I was out of the province on holidays. The CBOTW Show decision on YouTube has been decided to be put on hold and we are focusing on Audio ONLY for The CBOTW Show. Basically I am focusing on the Twitch, Main YouTube account and Entertainment Man.

             Taking smaller steps when it comes to ALL our Shows. First step is in 2025 with the new podcasting, blogs and streaming schedules moving forward and both podcasts on a weekly schedule each which makes things so much easier to deal with. I wish I did this sooner and I will talk about that more on tomorrow's post as a continuation of what of talking about taking smaller steps but this is just the start of some major changes to our schedules and that it will make complete sense now compare what we have right now. Anyways I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

Food In Quebec City

              The food in Quebec was amazing! I really went French dishes as I wanted to try them and was worth it. I want to talk about 3 - 4 dishes in total. The First one was Cannelloni. I have never had this dish before but was really, really delicious. Restaurant Parmesan did a great job with our meals and I couldn't believe how much cheese was on it plus parmesan they added to it. Was crazy but was worth it though. The Next dish is from the French Canadian restaurant I had a Beef Wellington which was absolutely amazing. I even ate some Zucchini and it was amazing. Didn't eat all of the veggies as I'm not a fan of Asparagus. 

              I had a very nice French Toast  with apples cut thinly and also a nice caramel sauce and a bit of it was foamed up which was really good. However I couldn't finish it whatsoever there was a bit left as it was stacked two or three pieces of bread hence why I stayed at 226 pounds. However I am working on it now to get it down a lot more. This is the time I want to really push it, exercise more and what not. Anyways the last thing I want to talk about food wise is the Smoked Meat sandwich and Creme Brule. The sandwich was delicious and good. Shoestring fries were great too, I enjoyed it as well. The Creme Brule was awesome just as I remember it last year and has become a yearly tradition for me. My Vacation 2024!

             As you know I was away on holidays to Quebec. I learned a lot about my family and got to see where my mom and her side of the family lived which was really neat to hear the history of my family. We also visited where my grandma is buried at the cemetery twice so it was nice to visit as I miss her every single day since she passed. Also got to ride the ferry there and back twice which was nice and I took some pics and can be found on my Instagram as I didn't post everything as there is way too many pictures. 

I also got to eat some of the most amazing food ever and I will talk about that on another blog tomorrow. Anyways we went shopping a bit and got myself a Nordiques hat, 2 pens including one for Larry as I thought about him while on the trip. Also got to go to church in a beautiful parish there I was completely in awe. We also got to go look at the Coliseum where the Nordics played originally and the Video Tron Centre where the Nordics could play if they became an expansion team again or a team moves to Quebec from other cities. Anyways that is my trip and I will talk to you guys tomorrow to talk about a few of the meals I really enjoyed, I'll leave out the negative experiences though. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Quick updates on Victoria Day

                      Hello everyone, Chris is taking one last day off before he gets back into work and I believe late in the afternoon today he will be doing a gaming stream probably around 4 pm till 7 pm EST. He will be spending time with the family  but he will pop up around then and look forward to watching his streams today. 

              We feel bad that we didn't do a lot of updates but the one good thing is Chris announced the renewal of both podcasts for 2025 which is fantastic to hear he's bringing em all back for next year. A lot surprising announcements that has been given out while away is astonishing! It was so obvious with his schedule changes for 2025 both podcasts were coming back for a respected 6th & 3rd season of the podcast and excited with what he's planning to bring to the podcasts. I know Larry is moving what the team and I have talked about, especially Chris who has actually started to prepare for podcasts online in 2025 as Larry is moving north. Chris mentioned to me to actually he will be recording Sunday's & Wednesday's episodes mid week and excited to what he has planned out.  Anyways that is where we are at, I will be back Saturday for an end of the week updates on the normal day and time.

Web Series or Podcasting?

            Web series or Podcasting? Which one do I prefer. As you guys may know my history with the web series that I use to do from 2005 till 2015 a good 10 years with doing series then from 2014 to the present day, which almost at 10 years for me as a podcaster as I started to dabble in the world of podcasting with one other person back then. You guys know I loved doing the series but we kind of ran aground and ran out of ideas for the series so that is one of the reason. 

            But Podcasting I love, I love being my authentic self and talk about TV shows and movies so I really am loving what we're doing now with the podcasts right now and no regrets whatsoever switching to podcasts. Larry, Kelsie and myself seem to really enjoy what we are doing right now. So in a short answer, I definitely say podcasting is more my thing and more in my wheelhouse of expertise as I've done internet and campus radio in the past. Goals For ChrisBOnTheWeb Media?

             Since we are halfway through the year, some of our goals weren't reachable like the YouTube Channel for The CBOTW Show but there are goals I'd like to share with you guys professionally:

ChrisBOnTheWeb Media: I'd love to reach 1 million views on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and we're closing in to 700K at this moment and it may take a few more years but that is totally OK with that and we continue to grow and learn each and every day we continue this journey together. 

            Also I would love to see 20 years and even a 25th anniversary for ChrisBOnTheWeb but baby steps as we are only on our 10th anniversary at the moment and we will get there eventually but again it is a long way off from our 20th and 25th anniversary and we will get there some day, just gotta keep truckin'. 

Entertainment Man Podcast: Now Entertainment Man, I can say I want to reach 300 episodes with eventually hitting the 500th episode down the road. Also I would love to hit 500 subscribers which is a very high goal and that will happen eventually. Small goals to start obviously.

The CBOTW Show: With The CBOTW Show of YouTube now my only goal is the 100th episode of the podcast and getting up there in episodes and probably get close to 50 by this year. 

            Anyways that is my post for today, it is nice to redefine my goals and as you noticed, I didn't give us any timeline, when it happens it happens right. Just keep producing the content out there but I will talk to you all tomorroW.

What's Going on With The CBOTW Show?

             I know YouTube has become a stressful platform. I thought all our episodes The  CBOTW Show was going to work but the premiere cut out after 10 - 20 mins into  the premiere which got me very, very upset and more agitated with the platform but playing it back didn't work. I think having 3 channels is a little much right now. So The CBOTW Show is staying Audio ONLY for now and maybe 3 channels was not the right move for us perhaps plus Twitch. 

             So maybe I need to focus on the 2 channels and shrink things down ChrisBOnTheWeb Media channel and Entertainment Man Podcast. Maybe one day we will go back to video for The CBOTW Show but who knows. We are taking a step back for now and focusing on the Audio ONLY for The CBOTW Show while Entertainment Man Podcast is on YouTube and with me streaming on weekends for you guys those will be my 2 primary focus. Anyways that is the blog post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Feeling Nervous About The Schedule Changes...

               I feel very nervous when it comes to these changes that I am making to the podcasts and I know I asked you guys first if you were OK with these changes and most of you said yes so that means you guys were ok with the changes that were being made. I even reached out on all the platforms if this was ok with you guys and you guys said that is fine. So I do not know why I am feeling these nerves 

            And I know it will be a big success going with weekly shows. It'll take you guys some time to get use to the new schedule and how it works but this way we can produce both shows and air both shows during the week which is the reason behind the changes that we made. Trust me there is a reason for all these changes and it is so we can produce and post up both on a weekly basis. So in conclusion there should be no reason honestly to be nervous I am sure you guys will receive these changes with a positive feedback and you guys have asked The CBOTW Show isn't weekly and something I will get into on tomorrow's Podcast but I will talk to you then.
