End of The Week Updates [04-20-2024]

                It a tough end of the week updates for us once again. Everything is upside down right now for the team right now. Right now Chris is editing his heart out and haven't had time to work on new episodes and no time for the blogs while he's away but he is making that the second priority actually after he edits the audio only from Thursday night. He is making it the upmost important plus he needs to record one more podcast while he's away so he is getting into vacation mode right now. 

              I want to welcome Karla to our moderator team on Discord and all the YouTube Channels and Twitch. Another amazing addition to the Mod Team as the server is very active and a lot of fun to be around no matter what day or night it's somehow always going off with new comments and we appreciate it. Also Chris wanted me to mention that next Wednesday will be a premiere @ 1 pm EST for The CBOTW Show and the airing of the Power Rangers Podcast after a very long hiatus with the podcast. After next Wednesday there will be one more podcast plus 2 weeks after that there Power Rangers Reboot plus what's next for our podcast. That is everything I needed to say, I will speak to you guys next week for another "end of the week updates."

Brotato Video Game First Thoughts!

                   I recently been watching Dan's YouTube Channel and he was playing a game called Brotato which is a game similar to The Binding of Isaac. However there is a lot more of a selection of weapons and also armor as well. So I'd say it's a step up from Isaac but a lot different.  I like the fact that there is a bunch of different items and it is a bit of a chaotic game but I really do enjoy the game. I have gotten to 13 waves as the game goes into waves and I do not know how many waves it is till you beat the level that I am not sure on right now. 

            However this game is so much fun! Once I get into a run then the run ends I find myself wanting to do another run. You can unlock other Brotato characters as you go along and it isn't hard to unlock those actually. I would definitely give this a 10 out of 10 I recommend it if you like a game like this. Anyways shorter blog today as I have a ton of things to do today with editing the podcasts but have a great weekend and I will talk to you all Monday.

Not Sure What's Next for The CBOTW Show!

                Now that it has been OFFICIALLY 2 weeks since Larry and I recorded Dino Fury Season 2 & Cosmic Fury, the finale of the franchise + the one off that we did, I'm not sure what is on tap for June for Larry and I wise. We haven't gotten that far into it as right now as at this moment of time, we are posting and publishing the episodes that we have recorded thus far. 

              We really haven't looked at what's next and we honestly haven't had that conversation honestly. We've been enjoying our time off air to really hangout and have some fun in our lives. So I cannot predict what is next for the podcast but The Mighty Ducks movies is suppose to be next on the list but the question is when are we going to be recording this podcast. I've heard June maybe July at the most now. I am also trying to get the guys in for Entertainment Man so I am trying to do both and it isn't easy. So it is all about a balance between both podcasts and I will talk about that in May a little bit in a post while I am away but for right now that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow!

How Will May 12th - 19th Work?

            As you know I will be away May 15th, 2024 out to Quebec City with my parents, so I will not be around for 5 days. So this is how it will work. The blog I will write them on the weekend for the Monday & Tuesday but the Wednesday - Saturday I am pre-written this week posts, while editing doing a ton of different things at the moment. Was a busy getting things done. 

            As for the end of the week, I've spoken to Kelsie and we have agreed to stop the end of the week updates for that week on the 18th of May due to the studio being closed there will more than likely no updates as I will be only working Monday and Tuesday then I will be off for 5 days straight. As for Entertainment Man Podcast I have been recording those two episodes that I worked on. Those 2 episodes will be just posted, meaning there will be no premiere on that day. I am not going to be available for the premiere of the episode. Once I am back then everything will be back to normal for us moving forward. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another post!

Doing too much all at once!

             Doing too much at once is overwhelming. I had to find the right word writing this post today. I am the epitome of doing too much honestly. Why do I say that? Well I have 3 podcasts I am working on for Entertainment Man Podcast, plus working on these blogs which I need to work on those and I have a blog for that moving forward for that week that I am away in Quebec, so expect that this week so you guys know what is what for that week. 

              Back to what I am saying I should slow down take it one thing at a time and I am, just it's overwhelming for me actually. I will get it all done in no time don't worry that will not change whatsoever. I will work hard today to get editing and blogs done for this week and the week I am away so this way we have some kind of content that week while I am away in Quebec for a visit. Anyways that is the blog post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post!

Went To an Art Show On The Weekend!

              Well back on the weekend I went to an Art show which I go to those each and every year I think it happens twice a year actually. Anyways I love this art show. I have a big appreciate of art. It's actually inspired me to pull out my sketch book out but I need to find the book first of all to where it is at the moment as I put it away. The other thing I really enjoyed was the interaction with the artists and I asked a ton of questions. 

              There was a gentleman that was actually working on a piece which looked really, really cool. I thought that was really cool to see a bit of the process which takes a lot of time. My dad and I actually asked how long it takes for the process and it takes a couple of weeks which I can imagine. There was a ton of art to look at and we spent a good hour and a half there. I look forward to the next one when they do another one, hopefully fall if not fall next spring for sure. End of The Week Updates [04-13-2024]

                    This week has been very chaotic for us from editing the Power Rangers Podcast to struggles which is where I am going to start this blog off. Because Chris has ran into trouble when it came to uploading the video but he has since then has rectified the issue and it is now working now and is scheduled to be uploaded at the start of May, I believe he has it scheduled for May the 8th, 2024. 

                    With episodes edited he has shifted over to planning other podcasts like Entertainment Man Podcast which he has a few extra for wiggle room. He does need to record episodes while he's away that is 2 extra episodes and he's going to this weekend record 4 episodes if he can so it is ready to go as this month is going fast and quickly so he will be getting that done this weekend too. The CBOTW Show he's getting ready to do some podcasts on The Simpsons and not very many are on his list but he keeps coming up with new episodes he wants to watch and write notes down. Any who that is today's blog post updates have a great rest of your weekend and I will speak to you all next week!

                There is the schedule and what we're looking at in a more of a permanent schedule moving forward. However as for the Sporadic gaming schedule, it could be on a Sunday, it could be on a weekday, it will vary on my schedule and if I am busy. What's Next For The CBOTW Show?

            With Power Ranger Podcast wrapped up production what is next for The CBOTW Show. Well haven't really come to that point but it will be between me doing solo episodes, The Simpsons and Mighty Ducks 1, 2 & 3. Also that is on the plans is to work on Corner Gas but it could take weeks months but that is OK I can try and squeeze it in. I'm sure that I will some how get to it soon as possible. I just haven't figured out how I will format the episodes and maybe I will talk to my guest about it first see if he has ideas for it. 

       That is everything that is being planned for now and I have nothing planning beyond August for now and I do not plan on going to far but let's say that Larry will be back more in September I am not sure when The Mighty Ducks movie chats will be posted up. Again we haven't come that point as of yet as we are currently planning 2 podcasts for the other podcast in the nearby future so it will be tough to say at this point. Anyways that is the post for today and that is sort of the plan moving forward and nothing too strenuous and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow.

Getting Frustrated

             YouTube was a bit of a pain in the butt. Was having issues with a "Processing Error" on there and you can understand the frustration and truly my anxiety went through the roof on this. I have been fighting this for a while now. I just want to get these finished so I can move on but I think it's definitely a YouTube issue not me. However we know it is a longer episode, hour and a half long, 1 hour long and 18 minutes long so and the first and third one went up no problem whatsoever so that is really strange.

            But I continued to trying to get it up so you guys get to see this but now I need to try and keep episodes to at least an hour long for the nearby future because I have uploaded an hour podcast on "Entertainment Man Podcasts" YouTube Channel with 0 problems. Just this channel seems to be the problematic issue right now. It does sound like something YouTube related cause Entertainment Man hasn't had a problem in the past! Anyways that is the blog post for today, I thank you for reading and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Trying to Keep a Positive Mind!

             I know YouTube has become our entire world when it comes streaming and podcasting and I know I may feel a little overwhelmed but I was just doing fine in February/March but I let one person ruin it cause they constantly harassed me and Kels and I tried to help them. However this is a new start for us and I think I'm going to just focus on the streaming part instead of both videos and streaming so the video tab will more than likely not be there. 

            This is not about the channels but this is about me keeping a positive mind when it comes to getting things done and this is when creating lists what need to be done and why Monday I was watching the eclipse from inside via the computer monitor. I wanted to stay home and I was going to get the work done being home all day long regardless. However getting work done I have to stay positive and I want to start using affirmations for myself or even positive thoughts. Have to stay positive through all the long hours I put in for the podcasts that we put out there and I know with Kelsie's help we will most definitely get it done. Why do we have 3 YouTube Channels?

             I know things are completely now off the rails but I made a promise when it came to streaming at least weekly for Just Chatting with Gaming Stream when I had extra time on my hands and I ended up deleting the original channel which when I brought it back up I was still a Moderator in Sonal's channel and Entertainment Man Podcast's YouTube Channel which is hilarious actually. Glad I am able to keep helping my friends out with moderating their channels as well as Streaming on my own weekly with the occasional gaming stream.

            Now as you know Entertainment Man Podcast is sticking to it's schedule meanwhile The CBOTW Show sticking to every 2nd week schedule which people don't mind cause the channel is growing even on a bi-weekly schedule people enjoy that schedule. So do not worry I will figure a way to juggle all three channels but the just chatting streams will be on both Facebook and YouTube on the weekly basis. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

End of the Week Updates [04-06-2024]

               A lot has gone on this week and let me start with podcasts, Entertainment Man Podcast has now reached 242nd episode which is amazing and big congratulations to Chris reaching that peak amount of episodes. As you know Chris and Larry have now completed Power Rangers Podcast, the editing process has begun and I have the honor to working on The CBOTW Show. I never thought he'd ask me to help and I feel privileged to help out. 

         So we continue to release and he has mentioned he will be working on Entertainment Man Podcast and is the next thing he is planning to work on next and excited to be working on these plans. Also something he didn't mention to you guys is he is going to pre-plan out The CBOTW Show with the Simpsons episodes he wants to cover on the podcast. He is planning on doing those. Also he wants to actually work and prepare these ahead of schedule before they are being recorded and posted. He wants to leave it open for now. Post Power Rangers Podcast Check-in!

               Now with Power Rangers done and Power Rangers Podcast now on Hiatus for right now, I feel the sense of relief. I know you are shocked to hear this from me but now that it has wrapped up production I do not know what I will do with my time after editing is completed and I am currently working on it at this moment. It feels weird to not have to do anything now. I can work around other projects, I have a ton of Entertainment Man Podcast episodes I want to write and have done and ready and the list is pretty endless so I'd like to work on that for a while and it's not too much work but something on the list. 

               With being in post production, editing is taking place and we are working hard to get both the video and audio only and excited to be releasing these to you guys soon. I have handed off an episode to Kelsie to help out with the editing process to speed it up so it is ready to go. This is why we moved the Mean Girls Reboot to next week instead so gives us more time to work and edit but I am sure it will be done quickly. We edit at a good speed so it is done. Anyways that is the check-in blog and have a great weekend as Kelsie is doing the end of the week updates and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Been an emotional week.

             This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Larry and I. I've tried to hold back the tears knowing that this is the end game for us and we've finally reached the end of the long road. You have to remember Larry and I been doing this podcast for 5 and a half years and it is a lot of blood, sweat and tears that we put into the shows we put out there between 30 - 35 shows entirely. That is a lot of shows to be done and it's amazing that we've actually come this far. Because originally we were going to stop after the Zordon era and we haven't really been open to saying that but we can now that we've concluded the entire franchise now. 

            So this week is emotional and it will take time for me to readjust to the new schedule and getting use to something new that we are working on and I can talk about that tomorrow on the blog if you guys want which I plan on writing about tomorrow's blog post. I am hanging in there mentally and emotionally and plan on just relaxing this weekend and taking a break before I start editing heavily. I can say this I plan on releasing the Mean Girls Reboot next week instead then Power Rangers will be released after that. Just a little switch. I probably already put a schedule out there for you guys but that is the post for today, I will as always talk to you all tomorrow!

The Holiday Schedule Was Odd...

                     I know our schedule during the holiday was odd and we didn't really plan it out properly especially with this blog taking Friday and Monday off due to Easter and originally we were planning to do a blog Monday but I wanted to give the team a day off as we've been working non stop especially getting ready for a certain podcast today that is supposedly on series finale wrap after 5 and a half years of working on it constantly. 

              So the team may have been off on Friday, Sunday and Monday but I worked Friday, Sunday and Monday to just get caught up on work, I finally got taken some time off Sunday to be with the family for Easter so either way our scheduling was way off and we promise in the future to do better planning weeks ahead when it comes to a holiday around the world and this country. We should of been more aware it was coming up and made the plans well in advance and we normally do but we've been swamped with work. Anyways that is the post for today, I will as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Talks.co Review

         I would like to talk about Talks.co and it is like Matchmaker FM which ChrisBOnTheWeb Media's own "Entertainment Man Podcast" has been utilizing the tool since 2022 just over 2 years now. It has been excellent! I was reached out by Sarah from Talks.co and big shoutout to her for reaching out to us about this platform called Talks.co. Also big thank you to them for featuring "Entertainment Man Podcast: on there! Much appreciated! It is exactly the same to the other site we use which I did mention. However looks a bit better then the other but the only things I would add to their site and here is what I would add: 

1) Knowing that someone has viewed your profile whether it is your profile, profile or your show profile so you know people have seen your profile and potentially being able knowing people are viewing and are interested

2) Inbox isn't available via mobile I looked and looked and it wasn't anywhere. 

3) A mobile app. The other website we use for the show doesn't have one. 

              That is about it, only 3 little things I'd like to see changed but still give the platform a 10 out of 10 and if I see a lot of requests for interviews I might switch to those but I plan on using both to help get more interviews out there. End of The Week Updates [03-30-2024]

           Another long week is over for us. It has been a barrel of stress for us all. As you know this week I was named the new Chief Operating Officer, also known as the COO. I am so thrilled and excited Chris named me for this role on the team which covers the same jobs as before, helping out the community, answering emails, Facebook and Twitter messages. But also help with planning events both Online and in person. 

           I know Chris hasn't had the time to finish working on Power Rangers Podcast for The CBOTW Show but spent yesterday and yesterday night and today on watching the series to try and get it done. Now Entertainment Man Podcast is edited and ready for release tomorrow afternoon and he has to still put the episode information up on this very website. 

           He will be talking about this next week but reason for no blog yesterday, he gave all of us the day off including him even though he said he's going to be working on the season but got busy with other things I guess. This also reminds me to remind you no blog on Monday and we will be running on a 5 day week for blog rather then the normal 6 day blog but we will be on a 5 day as we're off tomorrow and Monday for work wise and taking some very well earned time off. Also Chris will be doing a split streams between Facebook and Instagram so be sure to check those out! Those are the updates and rather a very long update but I will talk to you all at the end of the upcoming week and wish you all a very Happy Easter from all of us, here at ChrisBOnTheWeb Media.

Our Process With Podcasting

              This blog post was inspired and requested by Reena who was on my podcast several weeks ago so big shoutout to her. Podcasting is a lot of work from the pre-production to the production to post production so I want to break this blog down to 3 parts from our perspective:

Pre-Production: Getting an idea whether it is a topic or getting a guest for Entertainment Man Podcast or a movie or TV show to recap for The CBOTW Show, it all starts with an idea. The creating podcast notes for the episodes and it comes from the idea, I have to come up with at least 4 - 6 pages of notes especially for Entertainment Man Podcast. Now The CBOTW Show comes with a movie or TV Show, then watching the TV Show or movie and taking notes.

Production: Is getting the episode recorded. It is basically sitting down and recording. Now not every episode for Entertainment Man Podcast is LIVE on the air but other then that it is pre-recorded. Production side, Entertainment Man Podcast is both YouTube-Video/Audio ONLY and The CBOTW Show is just on Audio ONLY.

Post Production: Editing the video/audio only for Entertainment Man Podcast and Audio Only for The CBOTW Show making sure it is to my liking for publishing. Which brings to the next point I use my Corel Studio Video Studio for editing the video and Audacity for the audio. The next thing I want to mention is scheduling the podcast, putting in the tags both on YouTube and Audio, also posting it on the website on the day of. The last part I want to share is clipping the best moments, even though I've had hate but that's been the best part of the views on the channel and gets people more interested. The clips though are just for video side of things, YouTube/TikTok and sometimes Facebook/X/Instagram from time to time. 

              So that is OUR process as podcasters in our network and what we go through a week to week basis. Quite a journey that we go through together. Again big shoutout to Reena for this idea and I will talk to you all tomorrow about The CBOTW Show that is bothering me at this moment.

Getting Back To Our Regular Schedule

             I know we've gone off tandem with our schedule with no stream but I am planning to start streaming on Facebook and Instagram maybe every week and I need to get back to that and I know it's been awkward that there hasn't been a stream and I have technically been very busy person, had an event over the weekend through another community, which was amazing but I realized I should of done one Friday but fell asleep early.

           However this weekend I will be making an effort to stream to both Facebook and Instagram this weekend catch up with you guys on everything that has gone on in the last 2 weeks and it has been a chaotic mess trying to get things done and I will in time. So be on the lookout for a stream on Instagram and Facebook this weekend I hope to have some updates for you guys how far I am with the seasons.
