Getting Frustrated

             YouTube was a bit of a pain in the butt. Was having issues with a "Processing Error" on there and you can understand the frustration and truly my anxiety went through the roof on this. I have been fighting this for a while now. I just want to get these finished so I can move on but I think it's definitely a YouTube issue not me. However we know it is a longer episode, hour and a half long, 1 hour long and 18 minutes long so and the first and third one went up no problem whatsoever so that is really strange.

            But I continued to trying to get it up so you guys get to see this but now I need to try and keep episodes to at least an hour long for the nearby future because I have uploaded an hour podcast on "Entertainment Man Podcasts" YouTube Channel with 0 problems. Just this channel seems to be the problematic issue right now. It does sound like something YouTube related cause Entertainment Man hasn't had a problem in the past! Anyways that is the blog post for today, I thank you for reading and I will talk to you all tomorrow!

Trying to Keep a Positive Mind!

             I know YouTube has become our entire world when it comes streaming and podcasting and I know I may feel a little overwhelmed but I was just doing fine in February/March but I let one person ruin it cause they constantly harassed me and Kels and I tried to help them. However this is a new start for us and I think I'm going to just focus on the streaming part instead of both videos and streaming so the video tab will more than likely not be there. 

            This is not about the channels but this is about me keeping a positive mind when it comes to getting things done and this is when creating lists what need to be done and why Monday I was watching the eclipse from inside via the computer monitor. I wanted to stay home and I was going to get the work done being home all day long regardless. However getting work done I have to stay positive and I want to start using affirmations for myself or even positive thoughts. Have to stay positive through all the long hours I put in for the podcasts that we put out there and I know with Kelsie's help we will most definitely get it done. Why do we have 3 YouTube Channels?

             I know things are completely now off the rails but I made a promise when it came to streaming at least weekly for Just Chatting with Gaming Stream when I had extra time on my hands and I ended up deleting the original channel which when I brought it back up I was still a Moderator in Sonal's channel and Entertainment Man Podcast's YouTube Channel which is hilarious actually. Glad I am able to keep helping my friends out with moderating their channels as well as Streaming on my own weekly with the occasional gaming stream.

            Now as you know Entertainment Man Podcast is sticking to it's schedule meanwhile The CBOTW Show sticking to every 2nd week schedule which people don't mind cause the channel is growing even on a bi-weekly schedule people enjoy that schedule. So do not worry I will figure a way to juggle all three channels but the just chatting streams will be on both Facebook and YouTube on the weekly basis. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

End of the Week Updates [04-06-2024]

               A lot has gone on this week and let me start with podcasts, Entertainment Man Podcast has now reached 242nd episode which is amazing and big congratulations to Chris reaching that peak amount of episodes. As you know Chris and Larry have now completed Power Rangers Podcast, the editing process has begun and I have the honor to working on The CBOTW Show. I never thought he'd ask me to help and I feel privileged to help out. 

         So we continue to release and he has mentioned he will be working on Entertainment Man Podcast and is the next thing he is planning to work on next and excited to be working on these plans. Also something he didn't mention to you guys is he is going to pre-plan out The CBOTW Show with the Simpsons episodes he wants to cover on the podcast. He is planning on doing those. Also he wants to actually work and prepare these ahead of schedule before they are being recorded and posted. He wants to leave it open for now. Post Power Rangers Podcast Check-in!

               Now with Power Rangers done and Power Rangers Podcast now on Hiatus for right now, I feel the sense of relief. I know you are shocked to hear this from me but now that it has wrapped up production I do not know what I will do with my time after editing is completed and I am currently working on it at this moment. It feels weird to not have to do anything now. I can work around other projects, I have a ton of Entertainment Man Podcast episodes I want to write and have done and ready and the list is pretty endless so I'd like to work on that for a while and it's not too much work but something on the list. 

               With being in post production, editing is taking place and we are working hard to get both the video and audio only and excited to be releasing these to you guys soon. I have handed off an episode to Kelsie to help out with the editing process to speed it up so it is ready to go. This is why we moved the Mean Girls Reboot to next week instead so gives us more time to work and edit but I am sure it will be done quickly. We edit at a good speed so it is done. Anyways that is the check-in blog and have a great weekend as Kelsie is doing the end of the week updates and I will talk to you all on Monday!

Been an emotional week.

             This week has been a rollercoaster of emotions for Larry and I. I've tried to hold back the tears knowing that this is the end game for us and we've finally reached the end of the long road. You have to remember Larry and I been doing this podcast for 5 and a half years and it is a lot of blood, sweat and tears that we put into the shows we put out there between 30 - 35 shows entirely. That is a lot of shows to be done and it's amazing that we've actually come this far. Because originally we were going to stop after the Zordon era and we haven't really been open to saying that but we can now that we've concluded the entire franchise now. 

            So this week is emotional and it will take time for me to readjust to the new schedule and getting use to something new that we are working on and I can talk about that tomorrow on the blog if you guys want which I plan on writing about tomorrow's blog post. I am hanging in there mentally and emotionally and plan on just relaxing this weekend and taking a break before I start editing heavily. I can say this I plan on releasing the Mean Girls Reboot next week instead then Power Rangers will be released after that. Just a little switch. I probably already put a schedule out there for you guys but that is the post for today, I will as always talk to you all tomorrow!

The Holiday Schedule Was Odd...

                     I know our schedule during the holiday was odd and we didn't really plan it out properly especially with this blog taking Friday and Monday off due to Easter and originally we were planning to do a blog Monday but I wanted to give the team a day off as we've been working non stop especially getting ready for a certain podcast today that is supposedly on series finale wrap after 5 and a half years of working on it constantly. 

              So the team may have been off on Friday, Sunday and Monday but I worked Friday, Sunday and Monday to just get caught up on work, I finally got taken some time off Sunday to be with the family for Easter so either way our scheduling was way off and we promise in the future to do better planning weeks ahead when it comes to a holiday around the world and this country. We should of been more aware it was coming up and made the plans well in advance and we normally do but we've been swamped with work. Anyways that is the post for today, I will as always talk to you all tomorrow!

Talks.co Review

         I would like to talk about Talks.co and it is like Matchmaker FM which ChrisBOnTheWeb Media's own "Entertainment Man Podcast" has been utilizing the tool since 2022 just over 2 years now. It has been excellent! I was reached out by Sarah from Talks.co and big shoutout to her for reaching out to us about this platform called Talks.co. Also big thank you to them for featuring "Entertainment Man Podcast: on there! Much appreciated! It is exactly the same to the other site we use which I did mention. However looks a bit better then the other but the only things I would add to their site and here is what I would add: 

1) Knowing that someone has viewed your profile whether it is your profile, profile or your show profile so you know people have seen your profile and potentially being able knowing people are viewing and are interested

2) Inbox isn't available via mobile I looked and looked and it wasn't anywhere. 

3) A mobile app. The other website we use for the show doesn't have one. 

              That is about it, only 3 little things I'd like to see changed but still give the platform a 10 out of 10 and if I see a lot of requests for interviews I might switch to those but I plan on using both to help get more interviews out there. End of The Week Updates [03-30-2024]

           Another long week is over for us. It has been a barrel of stress for us all. As you know this week I was named the new Chief Operating Officer, also known as the COO. I am so thrilled and excited Chris named me for this role on the team which covers the same jobs as before, helping out the community, answering emails, Facebook and Twitter messages. But also help with planning events both Online and in person. 

           I know Chris hasn't had the time to finish working on Power Rangers Podcast for The CBOTW Show but spent yesterday and yesterday night and today on watching the series to try and get it done. Now Entertainment Man Podcast is edited and ready for release tomorrow afternoon and he has to still put the episode information up on this very website. 

           He will be talking about this next week but reason for no blog yesterday, he gave all of us the day off including him even though he said he's going to be working on the season but got busy with other things I guess. This also reminds me to remind you no blog on Monday and we will be running on a 5 day week for blog rather then the normal 6 day blog but we will be on a 5 day as we're off tomorrow and Monday for work wise and taking some very well earned time off. Also Chris will be doing a split streams between Facebook and Instagram so be sure to check those out! Those are the updates and rather a very long update but I will talk to you all at the end of the upcoming week and wish you all a very Happy Easter from all of us, here at ChrisBOnTheWeb Media.

Our Process With Podcasting

              This blog post was inspired and requested by Reena who was on my podcast several weeks ago so big shoutout to her. Podcasting is a lot of work from the pre-production to the production to post production so I want to break this blog down to 3 parts from our perspective:

Pre-Production: Getting an idea whether it is a topic or getting a guest for Entertainment Man Podcast or a movie or TV show to recap for The CBOTW Show, it all starts with an idea. The creating podcast notes for the episodes and it comes from the idea, I have to come up with at least 4 - 6 pages of notes especially for Entertainment Man Podcast. Now The CBOTW Show comes with a movie or TV Show, then watching the TV Show or movie and taking notes.

Production: Is getting the episode recorded. It is basically sitting down and recording. Now not every episode for Entertainment Man Podcast is LIVE on the air but other then that it is pre-recorded. Production side, Entertainment Man Podcast is both YouTube-Video/Audio ONLY and The CBOTW Show is just on Audio ONLY.

Post Production: Editing the video/audio only for Entertainment Man Podcast and Audio Only for The CBOTW Show making sure it is to my liking for publishing. Which brings to the next point I use my Corel Studio Video Studio for editing the video and Audacity for the audio. The next thing I want to mention is scheduling the podcast, putting in the tags both on YouTube and Audio, also posting it on the website on the day of. The last part I want to share is clipping the best moments, even though I've had hate but that's been the best part of the views on the channel and gets people more interested. The clips though are just for video side of things, YouTube/TikTok and sometimes Facebook/X/Instagram from time to time. 

              So that is OUR process as podcasters in our network and what we go through a week to week basis. Quite a journey that we go through together. Again big shoutout to Reena for this idea and I will talk to you all tomorrow about The CBOTW Show that is bothering me at this moment.

Getting Back To Our Regular Schedule

             I know we've gone off tandem with our schedule with no stream but I am planning to start streaming on Facebook and Instagram maybe every week and I need to get back to that and I know it's been awkward that there hasn't been a stream and I have technically been very busy person, had an event over the weekend through another community, which was amazing but I realized I should of done one Friday but fell asleep early.

           However this weekend I will be making an effort to stream to both Facebook and Instagram this weekend catch up with you guys on everything that has gone on in the last 2 weeks and it has been a chaotic mess trying to get things done and I will in time. So be on the lookout for a stream on Instagram and Facebook this weekend I hope to have some updates for you guys how far I am with the seasons. Adding an additional blog to the schedule!

             My team and I have been trying to figure out what to do about Saturdays as there isn't anything really going on and everyday we have some kind of updates and discussions going on social media and Saturday is the day nothing is really happening and made me wonder if we should actually put the end of the week on Saturday and it really makes a lot of sense as Saturday is technically end of the week. We've had this conversation since the end of last year and we are finally pulling the trigger on this. 

            I know this means one extra post per week and that's OK, but the question is how is this going to affect events as that is starting up in almost a month from now and I will be out and about so I still have to work out on that part of the blogs and this means 24 blogs per month and more content for you guys. I will even try and get Kels involved more in the blogs from time to time especially now that she's the COO of this company she can definitely post whenever she wants. We need to get a few events going this year. Anyways that is the post for today, I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post.

What's My Role as COO (Chief Operating Officer?)

                  My job as Chief Operating Officer is the day to day operations online which means answering the emails, social media messages. I am also in charge of setting up the online events for the community whether it is on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube. I am in charge of the Discord server community so this way Chris doesn't have to stress out about running the Discord server on a day to day basis. 

          These are the basic jobs that I do as the first COO of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media but I also forgot to mention is that I will continue to do weekly end of the week updates as normally. Which I'd like to mention is moving to Saturdays according to our CEO of ChrisBOnTheWeb Media and he told me to mention that he will talk about it tomorrow on the blog but this change is effective immediately. I will talk to you guys on Saturday for the "End of The Week Updates" and thank you to Chris for the promotion and elevating me to COO, I love this community and being involved with such a wonderful community.

End of The Week Updates [04-22-2024]

              At least this week, I am ahead of schedule and I have the blog post out on time. Anyways there is a several updates to report to you all:

1) The first thing is Chris has been busy recording and editing this week. He recorded early week the Anxiety episode he wanted to talk about and is out and the most recent episode to date right now here on the website, other audio only platforms and of course YouTube

2) He recorded Power Rangers Dino Fury season 1 which should be done by today at the most. 

3) He had another interview, this time with David Hirsch which I am excited to hear as I heard it went very well. He's been busy editing everything and putting it together. 

4) Also he is working on season 2 now and hopes to have it done by Monday or Tuesday at the latest so he can work on and complete the 30th season, Cosmic Fury by end of next week so he can start working on Entertainment Man Podcast fully.

          Lots of work to be done and I continue to work on graphics when needed and answering the emails for him trying to cover him while he gets all this work done and I have a lot of faith he will get it done. That is the post for this week and I will speak to you all next Friday.

10th Anniversary Updates!

            I know the schedule hasn't gone to plan this from being screwed over to uncertainty we came into the 10th anniversary totally unprepared. So what we want to do is scale back what we want to do and how often we want to do something special and it is only 10 years but we have to remember 10 years is a very long time for us running this media company. Couple of things that are done on a weekly basis:

            There may be one more event added in there between but it will depend and will talk to Larry and Justin in April for this but again, I do not want to overdo everything for this 10th anniversary and I'm not I'm taking a step back for this anniversary and I look forward to the events both weekly and schedule. It will be a chaotic year but excited for everything and even the public events I will be attending, we will be weaving in and out of it all but worth all the craziness. We wanted to go big of go home with our 10th anniversary and we are. Anyways that is the post for today, I want to do another post addressing a few changes in the community with streams. Then Kelsie will do her end of the week updates tomorrow so I will talk to you all Monday!

Events Are Staying The Same This Year!

               I know there has been no news on the blog nor the website itself about events and with my dad's health I was holding back on the announcement. However with him recovered I am happy to say ALL Events are remaining the same this year for the most part with an addition and removal of 1 or 2:

Addressing A Few Things....

             I'm addressing the hate but will not stoop down to naming names but here it goes:

55 Subscribers? No, if you guys look, I have 59 subscribers and a lot more then you ever would have. It took me 2 years to get to this point and plus I have been doing Entertainment Man for 4 years now, 2 of those years were Audio ONLY, I only added Video in April 2022 because it was requested time and time again so I did so.

Nobody Listens but a few people: Wrong! If you look at the views, that shows volume I am very consistent in views between 25 - 40 or more views per episode! Plus at the premieres Kelsie is there chatting and other people have popped in and said hey! I'm sure some rather lurk and listen and I am totally fine with that! 

I don't care about the podcast? I do care, I care about motivating people and giving great topics and advice!

I update the website too much?  No we ran into an issue with the layout so that was fix but we decided to shift things around a bit so if you don't like it then unfollow or block us. 

Supposedly been doing this 10 years: Entertainment Man Podcast has only been around 4 years, ChrisBOnTheWeb Media that produces it has been around almost 10 years!

15000 views on the podcast: I never said that nor stated how many views in total so I do not know where that bloody number came from! 

         That is what I have to say for this and I will not address anymore of this garbage and bringing this company nor this community down. I will talk to you all tomorrow.

We Broke The Website Yesterday!

          Yesterday, I wanted to change up the website so the girls and I (Kelsie and Haylie) decided to explore the idea that I had and we ran into an issue with the menu bar as it didn't work whatsoever no matter what layout we went with. So the entire layout and the menu code and layout we had stayed the same but it moved about with the changes in the layout so it was there but was moved around. So the website for about an hour looked a hot mess and the three of us find it hilarious that we broke the website and we had a laugh for the day. 

          However once we got fixing the website, we found the website now looks a ton better and I am not sure what we did but it is now fixed and looks a ton better. Proud of the changes and big thanks to the two ladies being up all hours helping me through the fixes. Haylie was so patient and helped me out with the fixes and patches to the website and Kelsie was on the duty of testing the page out. We also removed the wall of fame as we do not have the images and feel it wasn't benefitting the website. Anyways we are online and as always I will talk to you all tomorrow for another blog post!

End of The Week Updates [03-15-2024]

            I am sorry I am late for this but life gets in the way. First thing is first, Chris should be done the first season of Power Rangers Dino Fury but then it's up to him to finish up the next one in the next 5 - 7 days from now. The next things I want to say is a big thank you and welcome to our new members of our Discord server. Speaking of welcome our team would like to welcome Haylie to the team replacing my brother and will eventually replacing me for 7 months to a year while I take my leave of absence but I will have time to train her and don't worry I'll be still around the community, especially with Discord and any of the social media's. I'm not sure if I will have Staff status while I am away in the discord or if he will make me an admin for the time being I do not know. 

           As for Entertainment Man Podcast, Chris is still doing what he's doing with the podcast, continuing to be a success on that podcast. There is nothing else I want to speak on for this week, the website continues to strive forward we continue to grow as a community and company and we want to be more active on the social media. He has a bunch of posts coming today so stay tuned for that but that is this week's end of the week updates, have a wonderful weekend and speak to you all soon!

Getting to a Milestone is a lot of work!

             This journey hasn't been easy for the 5 of us. Yes I'm talking Larry, Justin, Kelsie, Jim and I as Justin was part of this team in the earlier to later years. It takes years to get to this point and something my old team didn't see as we were close to it but didn't reach it, we were a year and less then a month away from hitting it and ChrisBOnTheWeb Media hitting it this year is a huge milestone! It is long process and honestly with this year being our 10th anniversary we did it, we reached this milestone. Reaching a milestone takes time and hard work and long hours which we have put a ton of hours into this company and we're finally seeing a ton of success. 

            So it isn't easy but I am 100% proud that this company has gotten to the milestone even though we are many months from the milestone and we are going to be talking about the party in April what we wanna do and what not to celebrate this special occasion. I do not want to miss this opportunity as it is a big occasion especially the fact of the matter what I said above I'm just plain old excited for this milestone for the company especially this year. I know I've been going crazy and planning for it has been up and down and I promise you guys we will not do anything too crazy this year. There is stuff happening soon I am excited to talk about.
