What Is The Real Plan After Everything About Reality TV Ends?

I know I have spoken about this before I was part of PRCB (Punk Rock Cheeseburger) Podcast that I would be taking a break from running my own Podcast and yes that is indeed the plan to take a break from running my own Podcast but there is now more to it now then there was 4 months ago when I made the first initial post about this way back and here is the plan:

  • To take a break from running my own podcast as it has taken a lot out of me honestly and I am quite exhausted from it still as I have been going non stop all the way up to September when I had a week to a week and half off which wasn't enough as you know I am planning to take a bit of a extended break unless Amazing Race 32 comes on in the New Year but I highly doubt it but we will have to wait and see
  • I will be continuing on with the Power Rangers Podcast as I or Larry have no plans on stopping that podcast right now as it has become a very popular podcast on my website only and has done extremely well over the course of the last year.
  • The next point I would like to make is I am going to continue to be involved with Punk Rock Cheeseburger Podcast each week so I am still podcasting but I am involved both Behind The Scenes, Co-Owner role and also as the Co-Host as the podcast so you can still expect to hear me on the podcast every week with the odd week off from to time.
  • Also I want to continue on going to events with my dad and blogging about it. I also want to do a food reviews as they come as I have really enjoyed doing them and there is some coming up in January with Larry and I.
  • Finally, I would like to say this, you probably can start seeing me stream a bit more on Twitch but PRCB, Collab Podcasts and the website/blog will still be a priority to me but I hope to eventually start streaming and hopefully gaining some new listeners and start re-building my fan base once again for you guys.

So there is the plan on what I want to do with myself after my podcast is finished it's what has become an amazing run and there will be other projects that I am sure I am going to involved with and I got more plans then you know it as I have spoken to individuals about stuff and we will be working on that but that will be definitely in the very nearby future.

Working On A New Page Here On The Website!

I never really thought about this ever happening again EVER as you know the team was pretty much stripped down to me only on CBOTW and I have been on my own for the past 2 + years. With the addition of Billy to the list of podcasts and partnership with Rocky, I have started a "Team" Page here on the website. Now the page itself is now complete in the design with the text and images which took me sometime to work on as I wasn't really sure on the way to insert an "image into the table code on the website which is the way I formatted the website without using the normal builder here on the website so this page and majority of the pages on this website is all coded together minus the blog which is a part of the website itself. The rest of the website is made up of entirely code, html code, IFrame, CSS Code, you name it! Even the menu button is all based on code! Cannot say I built this website from scratch pretty much and if you ask me it sure as heck does look professional in a way and probably why the viewership has been up lately on the website so you guys are definitely liking the change that this site has gone through recently. Yes the team page has been finished and tweaked already so that is definitely a great sign in getting it active on the website.

I know what you are going to say... Active? It's not even up and yes I do realize that as I had to do some numerous of tweaks and re-code to the page as some text showed bold so I re-coded part of that page and it seems to look really, really good now. The next phase is to tinker with the menu bar code which I know can be a royal pain in the butt to deal with but I think I got the concept of the menu bar code down.  So over this week I will be working on the menu bar and testing it so if anything goes out of sync do not be alarmed as I probably broke something on the website like I normally do when I build the website. Either way this newly fixed website does look very awesome and I have worked hard over the last few months planning and implementing the code into the site and building this new bar and I swear this probably will be the last time I tinker with the website for a very long time unless a new service or something happens on this website which probably will not be for a long time. Yes I got a plan in the back of my mind but you guys have to wait and see what I mean in the nearby future. When I am ready to release the addition to the menu bar I will announce it publicly, Facebook (Yes I got a Facebook www.facebook.com/ChrisBOnTheWeb) Twitter & Instagram and also here on the blog as well.

Weight Loss Update [09-21-2019]

I am now officially at 222.3 pounds which honestly surprised the heck out of me which I didn't think that I would get this far and back down to 222. Now the goal from here on out is to continue on and get myself below 220 that is my first goal before heading all the way to 210 pounds. I know I can do this and been watching the calorie count each and every day which is good.  Now my worry is that I will gain weight again tomorrow and it will be all thrown away but I am staying positive that it is possible. I can honestly say I really hope to start losing the weight as this has been on going for a very long time now I have been doing this weight loss and it is honestly difficult. Try going on 2 years to be exact and I have had it with this weight loss. However I wanna get down to 210 by end of the year is the first initial goal then from there I am planning to start getting below 210 but if I get down there before then I can start losing the weight before but I have to walk before I run technically. I honestly think now at 222.3 pounds it will not be as hard then I thought. I am just going to be fighting it till I am below the 220 mark and this could possibly happened this week coming up.

All I really have to do from here on out is keep on watching my calories and that has been the big point I have made to watching out on my calorie count which is definite a plus with losing the weight and seems to be working so I need to continue with this method and as long as I stay in this point and if i gain a pound which has happened, no biggie with me as it will happen from time to time. Now I have started to cut back on stuff too and pretty much I have continued to portion size things for myself and that was the biggest issue I really have had in the past but it is not that hard to get it back under control. Best advice is to not let the weight gain bother me as it is normally just water retention. Also I have noticed I have made a ton more smoothies which is completely healthy. Now final point on this update is I do have my days where I still have a fat day which is fine which is a good thing to do every week, however, I think I want to cut back on the fat days however I can have a treat once a week or especially when my niece and nephew are over that is something I can do once and a while but not regularly.  Like I said I need to focus on the calories and something I have been paying a ton more to lately honestly. There is my update and I will do another one in 2 weeks time since I do not think it will be a good idea for a weekly update this way I can even focus on other posts on the Saturday on the opposite weeks.

I Am Happier With What I Was Doing With Blogs and Podcasts....

I was going to bring another podcast from a friend but they decided to quit on me which I was doing a lot of work behind the scenes and it feels like I wasted my time doing a ton of my time when I can be bringing out content to you guys technically. So right now I am thinking it is best for me to focus on the blogs on here, as this upcoming month Larry and I have ideas for the blog and I will reveal in this post to what him and I are planning but I have to be careful scheduling this idea. Also I want to focus on "Everything About Reality TV" and Power Rangers Collaboration Podcasts which are both doing well right now and changing things right now or adding on other things within the website probably the wrong move to make really at this point as things are doing very well for itself. Now the plan with the blog is both Larry and I from time to time will be doing food reviews and the most recent one coming up is of the Starr Burger over in Larry's hometown so he is going to take me up and were going to review their burgers.  Now I did mention it on stream yesterday that the plans for Power Rangers Podcast is in definitely in the plans and excited to be getting back into the swing of things in the fall but right now it is the planning stages for the next two podcasts.

Anyways I think it is better and that I am happier with remaining a solo person but no I will not be quitting the Power Rangers Podcast that will be not going anywhere but I am totally happier with it and the content that I bring out to you guys. Also Everything About Reality TV I am really happy with, despite being a bit burnt out but it is an adrenaline rush that keeps me going and I do a heck of a lot for you guys and I think 2020 things will be changing for me honestly. I mean I wanna make some genuine changes and this has a lot to do with me looking for work and this could be a big impact on me but I need to think things through first. I was also inspired by a YouTuber and also an friend who streams too and Not only I am happy with blogs and podcasts but I want to actually do this more on a full time status but I am waiting for the right time to do this but 2020 will again prove to be a busy but fun year for CBOTW, I am sure and I know Larry is going to be a big part of 2020 I'm sure as both him and I will be celebrating Everything About Reality TV's 5th Year On-Air.

Chris B On The Web Future Plans....

Originally I had something else planned for today's blog post, however, I had to do this post to let you guys what the plan is moving forward since I am now not looking for work anymore as I kind of wanna do the online thing and like I said before I do not think work is meant for me honestly. So yes I took yesterday off from CBOTW and just did not do anything and I ended up sleeping till 2 pm EST as my sleep was thrown off and 1 day ago my other screen blew on me night before so I actually ordered another one so I have 2 screens so yes I've gotten 2 new screens in the last 4 - 5 days since both so I should be good for a while. Anyways not the point of this blog, the point I wanna make is what is the plan? Well here is what I am thinking right now and what my thought process on things at this point:

1) Everything About Reality TV- Closing in on Big Brother US Season 21 and Amazing Race Canada Season 7 on top of the current season of Amazing Race 31. Like I said in the announcement post for the podcast I will be working around my holiday schedule too so do not worry. The podcast isn't going anywhere as it is renewed for Season 11 and 12 currently as the recent news of Big Brother Canada Season 8 is confirmed so were nowhere near done with this podcast yet!

2) Blog Posts- With me now doing online stuff since the job search didn't work out, I am planning to do more events and I think I am suppose to do the food truck but we will see how things go honestly, this year it could be a different scenario this year so the next event probably be in September in the fall but I am planning on the Polish and Ukrainian Festival. Followed by Apple Festival, Royal Winter Fair and more on the list for the remainder of the year but it is all on the post I did earlier this year.

3) Power Rangers Podcast- As I mentioned on Twitter late last night or during the night since I was most of the night, I want to push this podcast harder as both Larry and I have fun recording these and I think there will be time between January and February to actual record another one of these so we could be looking at every 4 - 5 months depending on my schedule with Everything About Reality TV which is a priority still no matter what. However, Larry knows this for the longest time, like 6 months now he knows I'd like to do more of these sooner then waiting but then it all comes down to the prep. What do I mean? Watching the series, taking notes then typing em up and then printing them off. Finally scheduling the recording session which is always a last minute thing as it comes down to am I ready for the Power Rangers Podcast? I am going to be adding in more interaction with Larry asking him some questions more as I have been adding in more as we progress into these.

4) Traveling- I will be out in the City of Toronto With Larry and able to promote CBOTW and chat with some of you that pull me aside to chat. I will be chatting about in the next couple of days on a separate blog post.

5) Network-  I have had a interesting proposal and it is not completely clear when it will happen but when it does, CBOTW will be becoming not just my website but a network with more then 1 podcast running so it will definitely be exciting to see when it does happen down the road.

That is the plan I got moving forward and majority of the things I said you already knew but I did make a couple of tweaks to some of the upcoming things but it cannot be helped as I just cannot do everything things are tight with vacation time coming up fast but I am trying to get through with it but hope you guys like this plan and excited to be more involved, not wait I mean I am excited to be more active and ready to go with plans.

I've Quit Searching For Work....

I have made the decision to stop looking for work due to a situation that I am going to keep private but I honestly want to explain what is going on. Honestly since Wednesday last week, I have been so active with CBOTW, the most active in a long time and obviously you guys knew something is or was up. Anyways for those who have been following from the start or in the past year or so, especially on Twitter/Instagram I am out every second Tuesday of the month to look for work. Recently something happened where I made the decision to stop looking for work as I have been at it for 5 years. Yes I had a job for 4 weeks but ended up deciding to quit as it wasn't right for me, but it was under a contract trial. However since then I haven't been able to find a job, it has been a tough one as nobody seems to hire someone with a disability. If I kept the job I had, I would of lost the job anyways as they closed down. Anyways not the point of this post. It has been a tough 4 years since that job, had interviews and had no job offers but had interviews but I just felt it was time to stop. My cousin mentioned to me last year when we were down or if it was through online messenger that maybe working is not for me. I really thought about it for the past while and the decision to stop looking for work was made not long ago, since last week I made that decision for myself....

Now what am I going to do with my time? Well the plan is to volunteer my time with different groups. I am going to work the car show like I did last year at the end of the summer which I really enjoyed last year and I wanted to do it again at the start of September as well. Also someone who was there during the transition from YouTube to Podcasting till we had a mutual agreement for him to leave has been pestering me about returning to the theater and yes it has come to my mind that I wanted to do it again whether it is building sets or front of house I'd do either of them honestly. The final question you guys are going to ask is what about Chris B On The Web? I am not going anywhere! LOL... CBOTW is here to stay and now I can work on it on a regular basis with new posts and yes that means Power Rangers Podcast is going to be worked on this week at some point especially before the holiday comes up at the start of July when I am down in Boston for a week, week and a half at the most. I am excited to what is next for CBOTW and what I am going to be doing next and the plans especially. I am going to be around a lot more and excited for the future plans as I will be starting to prep things very soon!

Why ChrisBOnTheWeb.com went down!

Well on Sunday, January 7th, 2018, ChrisBOnTheWeb.com went down completely and this is due to  000webhost website going down but also their web builder does not publish whatsoever and I don't know if Zyro whom is the web builder 000webhost relies on knows about the technical issue. But as of right now ChrisBOnTheWeb.com is down and I got no clue which direction I am heading with the website

But all I know I am looking forward to the moment of leaving 000webhost and changing up the website my website is on, however, I need to let the domain run out. If the web builder doesn't start publishing, I will more then likely try to find an alternative for now or stay focused on the blogspot for the blog, Audio ONLY for Everything About Reality TV Podcasts. As you do know, I need a website to host interviews on, however that is virtually impossible due to the web builder not publishing whatsoever or always giving me problems constantly. I do hope you all will be patient with me during this really tough times my website is having, but I know you will be supportive during this very stressful time for me.  also I need to have patience during this stressful time and let time pass and before you know it, they will fix the web builder and we will be back in business again.

So what am I going to do while this happens? Well as long as I am able to save all the work I have done, I will fix the bugs on the website until the web builder is fixed from not being able to publish. Also the podcasts and blog posts will continue as usual. It will just be on one less website and by now you know I put the blog from my blogspot on chrisbontheweb.com via a html code, as there is no blog app on the web builder so this the best I can do for now at least. But everything will go as normal until this website issue is fixed and I ensure it will be fixed. It has been months since the last outage which was back in October, so it has been a solid running website for almost 2.5 and I know they are trying their best to run a solid website service and I am thankful for being a part of 00webhost for the last few years.

Why I Got Into Podcasting?

So You are probably wondering how in the world did I get into podcasting, as most of you during my time as an YouTuber I had a podcast back in 2014 which I had a co host back then, but of course it didn't last long which doesn't really surprise me, same with another one in 2015. Of course Everything About Reality TV didn't come into play until September 24th, 2015 is the official date it started as I screwed up the dates on the anniversary so technically it's 2 years now it's been on the air.

So why did I get into podcasting, well back in January 2012, I got involved with my college radio station and the program director and the staff there taught me so much. Good examples are like making sure my mouth isn't close to the mic which I don't have it close anymore, having notes to what you are talking about which you guys know I always got notes handy and ready to go. Also I am quite the good talker and able to interact with fans in a heartbeat as I already had quite a following even as I was in the middle of my series on YouTube even though it was on a hiatus while I attended school, so making a second Twitter and getting followers was a breeze and of course I promote this Twitter through my main one anyways to get the following. I was and still am the social media guru to this very day presently...

Most of you who been following my journey since the start of social media know I use to DJ for a station back on BlogTV.com that is not the reason behind starting a podcast it is more the college visual radio station, Riot Radio is what inspired me to get into podcasting and that is where I am to this day. I started Everything About Reality TV on YouTube to going Audio ONLY and look how well it has done! I am really glad I joined Riot Radio, I got to meet so many amazing people and other fellow students at the college and put a great radio show on for everyone called Easy Rock With Chris B!

Busy Week Ahead of Me!

This week will indeed be an busy week for me once again as I have an appointment this week, well tomorrow and on top of that I will be doing a random podcast for you guys, outside Everything About Reality TV and the topic I am keeping quiet as I wanna surprise you guys on the topic that was chosen for this special “Random” Podcast. This was requested by a fan and also my moderator of the Chris B On The Web Facebook group that we have as one of the social media websites. It is very exciting to see you guys more and more involved each and everyday which I honestly love the interaction with you guys on a regular basis. Please keep an eye out on social media for when it goes up on my website.

Not only that but blog posts I plan trying to write everyday this week which my goal for the week and I intend to actually be on track with the blogs and I got some real great topics, including some games I would like to get updated version of the game. What games? You will have to wait and see what I have in stored for the blog post tomorrow. So this week will be filled with lots of fun.

Do not forget also on Thursday, I will be recording and posting up the next Everything About Reality TV Podcast recapping Survivor Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers EP # 9 and I am once again excited for this weeks next recap. I got a post to do Tuesday about it on my blog. So there you have it a busy but productive week for me and it keeps out of trouble at least... ha-ha!

Vacation Notice- August 28 - 31st, 2017- My Last Post For A While!

I haven't made this official announcement, however I should of done this announcement sooner. So what is this post about? Well as of tomorrow, Monday, August 28th, 2017, I will be away for 4 days up north for a well deserved 4 day vacation. Now I am taking  vacation for only 4 days as I am in the middle of recording Everything About Reality TV and just do not wanna fall behind.

While I am there will be no blog posts unless my other bloggers wanna contribute to the blog while I am away but I am guessing not as Larry is my only other blogger currently on my blog right now and hes on vacation right now too so the blog is going to be on a stand still until I return from holidays . So will Everything About Reality TV as I cannot watch the show at all and unable to record episodes on the road right now so both of those will be on a stand still until I return Thursday night. Now even on a Thursday night I will not be wanting to do much in the way to bringing content out till Friday but we will see how I feel by the time I get home and unpacked and settled back in here.

So what does this mean for Chris B On The Web & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com?  Well with no blogs and podcasts coming out, Chris B On The Web & the website pretty much goes dormant for a few days while I am away and please do not un-follow any of the social media, I will have a notice up on all 3 social media sites that I am currently on vacation and will be not posting at all. I've decided to stay off social media throughout the 4 days I am currently away, however I will post up an update Wednesday evening and also when Thursday comes around and I am on my way home. This way I am in direct contact with you somewhat but again will not be posting up too updates whatsoever while I am away.

Finally you may be asking when is the podcasts & blogs coming out to make up for no blog posts and not podcasts on Wednesday and Friday? Well I am planning on making up for not being online for 4 days, by this tentative schedule:

Thursday or Friday: Vacation Blog Post
Saturday: 1 pm EDT: Everything About Reality TV Amazing Race Canada 5 EP # 9 RECAP Podcast.
8 pm EDT: Everything About Reality TV BB19 Week # 9 RECAP Podcast

That is my announcement blog post for tonight and again please do not un-follow the social media I will be back on Thursday and raring to go to conclude this season of Everything About Reality TV Podcast and move forward with Season 4 and also add on tons of new blog post ideas I have written down. Also I will be posting briefly tomorrow on social media then will be offline. Have a great week, be safe and I will talk to you all Thursday.

1 Year Later- Now A Blogger & Podcaster!

Now that it has been over a year since I closed my YouTube account, I have settled down and considered my feelings about leaving.  The last year has been a long and stressful one for me. Even though it has been tough, I think I have finally grasped at what I want to do with my show, Everything About Reality TV.

I started podcasting back in later 2014. The initial stages and testing of Everything About Reality TV didnt pan out so I continued on with my YouTube career. you will remember that I was still in the midst of my web series, The Entertainment Man Talk Show.  Youtube was starting to take its toll and ultimately, I was starting to feel burnt out.  This was when I started considering podcasting more seriously. Now, thinking back on it, I am glad I ended the Youtube channel and started my podcast. I have continued with the podcast and successfully covered the fall 2015 season of the Amazing Race 27 and Survivor: Second Chances along with Hell’s Kitchen as well. The podcast also covered Big Brother Canada 4 & Survivor Cambodia.

As time went on, I planned not to cover shows like Hell’s Kitchen, Masterchef, Masterchef Junior or Masterchef Canada. I have nothing against those shows. It is just hard to cover everything in a limited time frame. My podcast has continued to grow. I have recorded episodes on Survivor Millennial’s Vs Gen X, Big Brother Canada 5, Survivor Game Changers. Currently, I am recording episodes on Big Brother 19 and the Amazing Race Canada. The podcasts have now grown to 57 episodes and I am not stopping there! Recently, I decided to start a weekly podcast called “The CBOTW Show” recapping TV Shows from 80’s to the 2000’s. Comedy, drama, action you name it!
Now as for the blogging, I have been blogging  since my ‘The Video Projects Team days. After leaving YouTube, I got more into the blogging on chrisbontheweb.com. I love talking about what is on my mind, stories in the local news, local events or the crazy weather we have had here. Around the middle of June 2017 I connected with Soapbox and offered to blog for them. They said yes and I have been with Soapbox ever since. I love being a part of the platform and connecting with other bloggers. I may only post 1 – 2 times a week but I am always logging onto the site daily to see what other great posts are up to read.

Feel free to connect with me on Social Media as well on chrisbontheweb.com. With blogging I find I have more of a freedom to express my opinion compared to when I was on Youtube. I truly am blessed to be where I am today with both the blogging and podcasting. I feel that I am making the right connections and connecting with so many amazing people. I am truly very humbled when I think how well I have done in the last year. The future of my podcast hasnt been written yet and I am playing it by ear with each new season.

Canada Celebrations 2017 & Canada 150th Birthday

Wow what a great day to celebrate Canada Day and this nation's 150th birthday! This will be a day I will remember the rest of my life. First spending time with my niece and nephew even though I didn't go down to the lake did spend time with my niece and nephew and the family that came over and it was fun, I was suppose to cook but my brother and father took over like I figured out so that had a bit of family drama that has gone on. The dinner however was great, tons of food and a great conversation went on. Spent tons of time with my niece and nephew, we played The Binding of Isaac and they got to witness another achievement reached which I am now almost at 50% to being at the full 100% Platinum God which means I will be ready to go to The Binding of Isaac Rebirth which if you ask me I am very very excited and I am sure my niece and nephew are excited to see the next installment and they know a mass majority of the items on the game as I have gone through each challenge or character on the game whether it is Isaac, Samson, Judas, Eve or Maggy, they know almost every item that I have gotten and the new items and we have even looked it up on Canada Day what that specific item does within the game and we, I also mean myself love the lucky toe item.

The final part of the day would be the spectacular fireworks display that I saw and it wasn't by the lake it was out in Bowmanville which is one town East of me so wasn't far from home so it would do. The downfall of going down to Lakeview is you have to take a city bus shuttle down as you are not allowed to park down there during the Canada Day events so after the fireworks of course it would be quite the crowd and a wait to get onto the bus and go back to the main terminal which I believe was the Oshawa Center if I am correct for this year. But anyways the fireworks so really awesome, it was a very entertaining fireworks and lasted a little over 30 minutes which is amazing, what a great way to celebrate Canada's 150th birthday. I thought it was going to stop after 20 minutes as it looked like it was ending but it didn't another fireworks and more which made the fireworks display. It was an amazing fireworks and would go back to the Garnet B Rickard Arena.

Chris B On The Web Events For 2017 - 2018

I am going to make it clear in this blog post that there are certain events I am attending for Chris B On The Web and ones that I am not. I have been hounding this in my head over the last few weeks and thinking of what events most definitely benefits Chris B On The Web and which ones have not been beneficial to "CBOTW" Also I will be mentioning the reason behind why I do not or I am going back to the event this year and to the list that I am uneasy to wanting to attend the event that is listed below. So without further ado, here is my list:

Events I Am Not Going To This Year:

Taste of The Danforth (Greek Festival): Not going to be going after last years debauchery of being shoved around and being told off by a lady, uhh, I will pass this year and probably will never go back if this is the way people are going to treat me. Nothing to do with the event organizers its just the other visitors giving me crap for no apparent reason when I wasn't doing anything but walking with my dad.

Possibly Event's I Am Going To:

Polish/Ukrainian Festival (Roncesvalles & Bloor Street, Toronto): Depending how the weather is over the course of the month of September and in the past years it has rained on the weekend for the festival and my dad and I been unable to attend due to the fact of the weather for the last several years have put going to this festival in doubt year after year, so It is on the maybe list and it is scheduled on chrisbontheweb.com just it will depend on the weather and I hope this non stop rain stops soon or it will be a no go once again.

Autism Celebration: I had a few mixed emotions with going to Autism Celebration last year, one being the booth sign I had said I was an YouTuber and Blogger and it was completely a disaster as I had a lot of questions about YouTube and people hassling me to go back, I am totally unsure on my decision to return this year, unless Kerry's Place talks me into coming back or my friends talk me back into it.

Events I Am Going To:

Apple Festival: I had fun and was a fun blog to blog about each and every year that I have covered over the times I attended it.

The Royal Winter Fair: I love going to the Fair each and every year, it is a privilege back in 2015 to be vlogging for my old YouTube channel that one year and I was under cover last year with my camera for the blog and hopefully I will be more open to taking more pictures this year if I can get the Media Pass.

Oshawa Santa Claus Parade: Always have a good time at the parade and haven't missed a Santa Claus Parade in many years.

Tyrone Parade of Lights: Since probably my college years or even before that I attended the Farm Parade of Lights and rarely missed one minus 1 or 2 years in a row but could of been due to rain or weather.

So there you go, that is my list and things could be change and I will let you guys know one way or the other if I decide to move a Possible events to the going to the event and will let you guys know right away. Have a great night.

Sore Back From Working Hard On The Patio Outside!

So you have probably noticed I haven't been as active on social media as I have been in the past weeks. Well I have been working hard on the patio with my dad and getting closer and close to finishing the project out on the side of the house by the deck. It is looking really good so far and getting stones in and the other day on Monday we managed to get 2 rows put in to have 3 rows completed. It looks really good and looks like an actual looks like a backyard patio so far but we are right now far from done.I am working on the project again since I dropped out of the Wednesday group as I was not being challenged enough, I got enough experience as a individual so this opens a bit more time and my dad cannot work hours on end on the stones as it is a heavy as heck! We are talking about 110 pounds a stone and you can times that by 52 stones, which equals 5720 pounds in total which is quite heavy as you can probably figure out.

With working really hard, my back has had it's share of soreness in the mornings but as I wake up and move around I feel great and I believe it is from the hard work I have put in each and everyday of the week but again it makes my body strong and the muscles I never used before are stronger then ever and my upper arm strength is extremely big and bulky and that is what I wanted to do is build up my upper core of my body as I hope to audition for Amazing Race with Justin Milner who use to be a part of my team from The Video Projects Team days and the first 2 and a half years with Chris B On The Web as well. Was also hoping to audition for Big Brother hence the weight loss and building my muscle strength for being on Reality TV.

One thing I am totally looking forward to finishing this project is sitting out there and reading my book or the news paper or just enjoying the nice weather out there on the patio, this project was worth all the hours and hard work that has been put in with my dad and my brother that had help us a bit with advice or bringing the stones out to the area where the patio is going to be. I am looking forward to the end of this project but enjoying the use of the patio once it it completed.

Taking Time Off, Resting Your Mind

I really needed that break from Everything About Reality TV, my mind was all over the place since Big Brother Canada 5, Survivor: Game Changers and Amazing Race 29 Finale's, but don't get me wrong I love doing the recaps, I have a lot of fun doing but taking tons of notes for the shows, plus watching feeds for Big Brother Canada and late night or in my case a lot of all niter's or being up till 3 or 4 am and sleeping afterwards did take a lot out of me and this why I needed the 2 and a half weeks to DE-compress from the busy podcast season and it has helped. Took time to play video games, blog on a regular basis or every second day and spend time with the family.

You can see where I am going with this post, when you work really hard on content like YouTube series or my podcast or a project you are doing in your home, you do deserve a break from all the work and to relax from all the stress of your daily grind in the working world. What I do on my spare time, I find myself putting on a video game that I wanna beat or a TV show for example I am watching Degrassi The Next Generation right now and it is nice to just sit back and watch the show and not worry about anymore work for the rest of the day. I do that quite a lot and recently with my work load has once again piling up on my desk with the Archive Project on chrisbontheweb.com However you do need to take breaks or you will end up like I did many times in the past with my YouTube career and also now Podcast career in mental breakdowns like I have had over the last year of trying to make my website work.

It don't have to be video games, you can read your book, do puzzles, watch TV or a movie, whatever the heck that relaxes you from the stress that you get on a daily basis. I have my techniques and I am sure you guys have yours as well. Some days if you are just plain out stress, just not worry about it and do it on a day that you are not stressed out and able to focus on the task at hand. For me personally, doing a podcast on a day I am complete tensed and stressed out I mess up royally and tonight was one of those nights I made a few screw ups but laughed through my screw ups and moved on through so even laughing through helps but sometimes a break is what you need. I know I needed that break after Survivor Game Changers, Amazing Race 29 & Big Brother Canada 5.

Have a Great Night!

Fiesta Week 2017!

Crazy week this week hence the blogs both on chrisbontheweb.com & Soapbox have not been going up as I have been out and about in the community this week at events and interacting with the rest of the community, even on my way back from an appointment I interacted with another member of the community which is awesome and the word out about Everything About Reality TV gets outs faster then you think. Don't get me wrong but I love doing both blogs and the podcast, just i gotta get out of my studio here sooner or later. So with that I went to Fiesta Week which is a celebration of many different countries and get a chance to try many different foods from all around the world! Trust me posted tons on Twitter and Google Plus over the last few days with pictures of what I have been up to and just posted up another picture on Social media not long ago. There is a parade on the Sunday before the week and the opening of pavilions during the days at certain hours begins.

The first Pavilion I went to was on Wednesday and it was the Krakow Pavilion, also known as the General Sikorsky Hall here in my city. There was all the different types of Polish food, Cabbage Rolls, Shish kebab, Polish Sausage. Trust me it was a great time and great food. The second best part of the night was the entertainment. I loved hearing a bit of Polka and traditional Polish music was a great way to end the night. I had a blast, great food, followed by great music and entertainment.

Despite my busy schedule today I managed to get out to the Romanian Pavilion and I wasn't sure if I would like the food but WRONG! I absolutely loved it! I know it was meant to be a little drier then I normally have when it comes to meat but I loved the flavor overall and that one spice gave it such an amazing taste and I had fun once again, was an hour but was worth the 1 hour of being out of my studio. Below is some pictures I took at the event, have a great night!

Working Hard To Be Successful

I have not really spoke about my new fond success at my Podcasts and Blogs that I written on either Soapbox or chrisbontheweb.com but to be successful on anything whether it is YouTube, Twitch or streaming in general or in my case blog posts or podcasts, but you gotta work hard, to get views it takes time to grow your audience and I found a difference between Podcasts and YouTube but that's for another blog post on another day but anyways it takes a while to grow your audience, YOUR fan base, trust me I have had a lot of support from the get go, when it was still on the YouTube platform and even now on the Audio ONLY Platforms for the podcast, I have gotten nothing but non stop support since the day I moved to Audio and a lot of other podcasters following me to show support to me doing the podcast throughout the reality TV seasons (Going onto my 3rd Season this summer!).

Now the best way to promote your content, whether it is Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus it is the best way to promote your content. Soon as you edit your content whether you are a YouTuber, podcaster or blogger, you should promote your content right off the bat, not wait, post it to all the social media that you have. You can also add onto the posts with hashtags and now what is a hashtag if you have no clue what it is, well it is just a simple "#" sign from your keyboard which if you use shift 3 button, it will give you the "#" sign. Hashtag is a great way to get yourself out there and you never know trending on social media and I have had Everything About Reality TV trending once in the past which was incredible and it was a very rewarding feeling to have to be sort of trending on Twitter. Numbers is not always important, it's about building your audience and having quality content out there which does help quite a lot, as I have realized that as I just completed my first podcast and I fixed the quality and the levels of my voice so it doesn't sound distorted. To be successful is to make the right connections out there, if you know what I mean. I connected with other podcasters, other cast members from Amazing Race and look where that has brought me to a very successful podcast and it has grown tremendously over the last 10 months almost. Do not feel down, do not give up, keep on trying and I ensure you will succeed at what you do.

Have a great night!

Food Truck Friday 2017!

First of all Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there and my dad especially. hope they all have an amazing Father's Day! So back on Friday, I went to the Food Truck Friday in the town East of me and arriving into Bowmanville was sort of disappointed as I thought at least a block would be  more suitable but know to be told we got to one block there was the food truck Friday on the one side street which is better then nothing if you ask me. It doesn't have to be a big Food Truck Friday, because you would be looking for food for quite some time if it was a pretty big Food Truck Friday event.

The event was fun, small and plus got to do something else afterwards. There were different kinds of vendors there from Burgers, to hot dogs to french fries, potato tornadoes which next year I would like to try it when I hopefully plan to attend the event once again which I will talk about at the end of this blog post, there was donuts, snow cones which I might of had once in my lifetime, ice cream and many others. There was local vendors there like Lakeview Burgers which is near the lake, some from Enniskillen and around Ontario here so there was a variety. They also had dumplings which in my lifetime I have never ever had dumplings and plan on trying it one of these days soon. There was some vendors I never heard of but was neat to see there at the Food Truck. There was quite a variety for a small event but that's OK with me.  I didn't mind one bit and made the choice easy for me to make to what I was going to have. I chose to have Perogies if you don't know what they are, they are an European dish which is quite delicious. You can have it potatoes and bacon, potatoes and cheese, potatoes and Sauerkraut which that what my dad had, I had the potatoes and onions with onions and bacon on top, well all of them had onions on top with bacon smothered on top as well. The Perogies were home made which made them more delicious, they practically fell apart in your mouth when you ate it, that is how good it  was. I even said to my dad that it ties with Norm's Deli which is in the same town where the event happened so two favorite places for Perogies.

After the food truck festival we were going to take the 2 pm bus but ended up on the 130 pm bus just to ride around on the route. I ended up having the bus driver I use to have on my regular route out of my area from the studio here and also on another route I was on as well. In conclusion to this blog today on this Father Day's Sunday, I had a great time on Friday and I am planning on attending to attend again next year, it may not be a big event but it is well worth to attend and worth the money for quality food.

Stress!

Stress is not a good feeling to have honestly. It messes with your head and sometimes it makes you want to just give up and not give a damn about what you love to do. In this blog today I will be talking about stress and also what you can do when you are stressed out like I have been for the last 11 months since leaving YouTube.

So one thing that can get you stressed out is getting over worked, doing too many things at once and I had that problem last year when I was still on YouTube I over worked myself and that isn't good, you have panic attacks, you end up wanting to say is this worth it anymore? You get too much work to do to the point you just don't want to do it anymore, you just want to give up on what you love to do. Going back to the post yesterday if you are stressed out and not feeling you are into this anymore, just follow your heart and do what makes you happy and that doesn't stress you out, like for me YouTube just became a chore each and everyday and I was getting stressed out, not only that but my team getting on my nerves and being disrespectful got to me I just had it with the team situation. Also the fact my channel kind of died and lost views after The Entertainment Man ended kind of put me into a downward spiral. These are a good prime example of a stressful situation that isn't a good thing to have.

Stress or having stress isn't healthy to have, especially on a daily basis and you need to have a way to deal with the stress. One way to deal with the stress is to put the most important task on the top of the list, here is an example below:

                  1. Blog post
                2. Podcast

And so forth that is a small example that is one way to deal with the stress. Also you can utilize your calendar whether it is a digital version of a calendar on Google or wherever you would like online but also you can use your physical calendar on your desk to schedule the tasks you have or if you got appointments like I always have appointments to go to every week, I am always out and about at appointments on a regular basis and I always bring my calendar with me in my portfolio book to book the next appointment so I recommend to do the same so this way you can book the next appointment and you go into your calendar and see, oh I have another appointment 2 weeks this day or next week, this way you do not forget or I have to do this on this set day and make sure its done and ready for the due date you pick. There is many ways to deal with stress, if it is just very, very overwhelming take a break for a few hours or for the day and deal with it the next day which I will get into taking a break in a future blog post in the upcoming days but sometimes you just need to decompress and I did that after Big Brother Canada finished it's 5th season, took the entire weekend off and went on a mini break. Also if you are stressed out go to a dollar store and buy a stress ball and slowly not fast squeeze trust me I've done it and tried it and it has helped but stupid me I lost the stress ball and gotta find it or get a new one. Hope this helps you guys that feel stressed out and I am not a professional help just another human being giving advice and any questions please feel free to contact me through the contact page of my website here: chrisbontheweb.com/contact/

Have a great night everyone!
