Chris B On The Web Updates....

             I think it is time for updates on Chris B On The Web as a whole. Because there has been tons of changes and stuff coming up for Chris B On The Web and I will explain everything to you guys and what is or has been happening in the past few weeks since I got back from Minnesota. It has been a crazy last few weeks from prepping for the Autism Celebration to prepping and getting the Media Pass for The Royal Winter which as you guys know by now, I got the media pass and I am on my way to the Royal a Week tomorrow which is really exciting honestly, I can hardly hold in the excitement and to get there and explore what the fair has to offer this year.


              So first thing I want to talk about is ChrisBOnTheWeb.com which is about to to be back in about 2 months from now by the start of 2019, the .com will be back into the picture very, very soon.  Why did it go down originally? Well if you did not read my post, it got reported and it was subsequently shut down on me when I never broke a single rule or anything as I was doing what I normally doing, blogging and posting up podcasts like usual. But I know and its the truth, the provider I had which I will not name as I am still very mad at em for the way they threw me out the door and hated me since day 1 but that is in the past, I am moving forward. I was planning on going pro with them later on but that is now thrown out the window as I plan to have my .com hooked up to my blogger page as of January 1st, 2019. I already know the timeline how things will go and that is the goal to have the .com back up by January 1st. I think the blogger page is the way to go with the list of the sites the podcast is on, interviews on another page, schedule and so forth.


                The next thing on my list is I am planning on having a second host help me out with Everything About Reality TV within Big Brother Recaps. As you know I have a busy schedule when it comes to Big Brother U.S & Big Brother Canada and I want to cut my schedule back a bit. What do I mean? I am planning to do 2 recaps a week and plan on having an audition process for a second host to help out with  the earlier in the week episodes which I will be explaining once I get someone on board to volunteer their time with CBOTW to help out with this podcast. If I cannot find someone, then I will be once again doing it once a week like usual. Celebrity Big Brother might be a difficult task as it is on like 4 or 5 times a week like last season so it may render harder to it all on my own but always up to the challenge. However with Celeb Big Brother I am unconfirmed to if I will be covering it this time around if I do not get help then possibly no coverage of the show but will be watching it and tweeting about it regardless! 


                  The studio will be eventually going under some major renovations of the wall, also I will be building a brand new desk in the studio which will be bigger and better then it was before so I am definitely planning for the future. Also will be buying a second boom arm for the studio to put the guest mic on as we still got the guest mic which has to be brought out everytime we have a guest in the studio and it seems to be quite often and I love having Larry in the studio. There is always laughter in this studio. I can hear his laughter echoing the studio even after he leaves from visiting the studio.  


                  That is what I have on my list for now, well the major things going on with CBOTW and it is only the start of the changes that are going to be happening and I am sure down the road there will be more changes being made or adding stuff on. Oh I almost forgot The CBOTW Show has made it's return and it is taking Audio ONLY by storm! I haven't had the chance to post up new episodes but will starting to active as of this weekend and I am sooo thrilled!  On Castbox alone, I have had 18 plays already and the Castbox feed just got updated yesterday, so the promotion of that platform has helped greatly! All the platforms have done well and welcomed me back with open arms. They have been a great help in getting things back on track and ready to go.

Everything About Reality TV (Updated YET Again)

                I have to yet again update you guys as I was informed that Celebrity Big Brother US Season 2 will be happening after Big Brother Canada 7 ends, which puts me into a very tough spot with Chris B On The Web and what the plan is now since I have to redo my entire timetable but that's OK, I can't be a complainer, still will be doing the podcast coverage on both in the Summer which an announcement will be coming later on in Spring 2019. Anyways, here is my timetable re-schedule:

                  Again, if I have to once again, I will update the schedule or timetable for you guys if I really have to, I feel bad I am all over the place but things do change and I appreciate my Alumni/Former team member looking out for me and have a lot of say when it comes to Chris B On The Web and it was one of my former team members that mentioned this to me today when I asked them and they mentioned it...  But that is what we could be looking at for a podcast timetable, I kept out the summer timetable until we know what the schedule is. Also I am hearing rumors about Amazing Race 32 is now in casting so it's on the list in question when it will happen. Either way this will be an exciting next year for the podcast and excited for the future of the podcast!

Everything About Reality TV Intro Changes

                I need to re-iterate this but I am working on this weekend the intro being re done since the switch to thecbotw.blogspot.com until the website is back on the .com in early 2019 under the blogger page, so that kind of does complicates things for me and also the podcast to not have a website being the host and provider of the podcast as it has been since 2015 when it first started out on YouTube at the time. Why the ramble Chris? Well I need to be straight out and honest with you guys that as of right now, the podcast is now at this point of time independent, on it's own due to the fact the .com isn't operational at the moment so the branding you hear at the start of the podcast will be changing over the next day or so it fits CBOTW and the current page I have which is this page in particular for this current time until the domain does indeed expire towards the end of this year.


                 Not to worry, the podcast isn't going anywhere, just facing the facts that CBOTW is indeed in a bit of trouble since the website going down and right now, I do not know the future of having a .com website at this point as it has been nothing but a problem but it is not the website domain, it was the web builder I was with that was the problem for the past 4 years and quite the headache for me. I still have a headache from the stress of running CBOTW. At this point I feel like I have ended up running it into the ground and it is all my fault for ever trusting 000webhost as a web builder service, so I should of known better when I first bought www.chrisbontheweb.com and now the domain itself sits abandoned on no service, nothing... Just an unused domain which I feel at this point I wasted money on this domain for the past 3 years of this contract with my provider... So frustrating.... 


                 So the podcast all together is separated from CBOTW for now and down the road when and if I do plan on doing a .com or renewing the domain again under this website, under the blog page, I cannot give you an answer at this point of time as I am right now so confused where I am going to go within the new year. I thought things were going smoothly but again I was so blind to actually trust the web builder I had and consider them a trust worthy service. I mean from the start, I never really got along with the staff there. They banned me from their fan page for no apparent reason when I asked for help. I think I was not suited there. I at this point of time have to do what I have to do with my podcast and just deal with it for a few more months before making the bigger decision.. What's the decision? You will see in due time.

I've Broken So Many Promises Anymore (I'm Sorry!)

            After all I have been through, I just cannot keep my promise for CBOTW anymore... I've broken too many of them this year. I promised a friend I'd do an interview with them for their Special Events and Highlight them on my site which now I have no website no at this point as the web builder I was with took it down again for the second time in the same month as well. The next thing I have not kept my promise is putting up the collab podcasts which were completed a month ago and have been since edited and ready to post but as you know I do not have my site to put it on... How on earth am I suppose to put it up on here if I do not have the space to put it on. I have a small template to put it on unless I put one under another that could work. Anyways the promises, I wish I can fix and get things back on the right track for you guys... 


             Still waiting on getting my archive.org account cleared of all the content that I have on there. I need to start fixing my promises as I haven't been good to keeping em right now, I need to sit down with my friend and do that interview even if the studio is a train wreck right now, with holes which needs to eventually needs to be repaired down the road. I need to figure it out but Got a couple of ideas how to do it so I want to fix whatever trust I have broken with you guys as I made a bunch of promises that are now broken at this point of time. I promised a website to you guys that isn't happening at this point well till next year. What is planned? Well over the next couple of days I will be making posts in regards to the recent things that have gone on and I will be doing a scheduled timeline how things will go so slowly we will be getting back into the topics I had as depression started to set back in on me but this morning, the mood is still not better but slowly I am working on feeling better.

So Frustrated With My Site Issues

               I am so frustrated with the fact my .com has failed time and time again. However, you have to remember, I have had issues with 000webhost from the start since I found them on the internet, so that doesn't help with any of the on going problems I have had. Since I got the .com website and I am glad the re-build of Chris B On The Web isn't done. It's been a long 2 years but still got tons of stuff still to do before the rebuild concludes and we are in full on site. What is my plan moving forwards, I will get to that shortly in today's blog post. I think leaving 000webhost at this point of time probably is the best move for me and honestly, I should of done this sooner to be honest as it's been nothing but a headache for me in the last while and I need to take more action and faster as it is not only frustrating for me but it is also frustrating for you guys the fans. I do understand  your frustrations with the site and I probably out of all of the 3500 + of you guys, I am the most frustrated as I am the one that deals with the website behind it all.


                Now the plan moving forward is to keep the free website for now for a while while the domain is currently active and in use, I need to let it expire before putting the .com on this website, yes I will be bringing it back and I want to use the blogger page as the main site, it has the blog, the podcast links, and a schedule and contact page in case you guys need to get a hold of me for any reason related to Chris B On The Web. However it has been the hardest decision, where to go next and what I wanna do with Chris B On The Web. I had a plan to release the collaboration podcasts but I just do not know how that is possible at this time and where I would release it and if the planning for the next one will happen anytime soon as you know I had plans to continue them but at this point, not so much... That is the biggest disappointment as Larry and I really did so well on them and we had such a great time recording them for you guys but now, you do not get to hear it. I have it saved on my external hard drive with all the other podcasts I've done over the last 2.5 years. That is why I said on Twitter, I've considered quitting my podcast all together but yet again, I do not want to let Larry down as he's actually enjoyed doing em as a guest host here and there and also guest starring on Everything About Reality TV as well as he is the one that helped me found it from the ground up. 


                    I can say this now, Everything About Reality TV is not going anywhere, anytime soon. It is not going off the air anytime soon is what I meant. I have every attention to continue with the podcast till there is no Reality TV shows left to cover! LOL. However I am disappointed that I have no way to release the collaboration without chrisbontheweb.com no longer up and running at this point as I have wasted my time re-building and re-coding it from scratch. I feel bad that I have not only wasted my time on the collaboration podcast but Larry's too as him and I could of used that time to hangout and spend time with him and have fun but it's 000webhost side, they don't want me there, that's their decision. Google and Blogger has been gracious enough to have me in this community and I plan to stick to being here.

Getting More and More Eager To Re-Open ChrisBOnTheWeb.com

                  The more I work on the website, the more I am getting excited for it to be re-opening. I know it's been a struggle to stabilize the website and it's been up and down for the past 5 months but in the end I am going full force for the website to re-open regardless if I get it done by goal date of September 1st or not. But I probably can say I am almost half way there, there is one page I have to duplicate which is this season's archived page this way we have it ready for the transition stage from the 7th Season to the 8th Season which is coming up very quickly. There was a reason why I didn't cover Big Brother 20 and the reason was because of the website problems, I needed to tackle and fix all the problems on the website and I needed the extra time as you know both Amazing Race Canada and Big Brother US 20 takes up a ton of my time and I just felt like I needed a Big Brother break as coming off Big Brother Canada 6, I needed a break and came at the perfect time as I was planning on trying to repair the website.


                      As you know I was with a provider and had the entire website re-built and ready to go but then my site got suspended. So I set it up for 000webhost and left it for weeks on end blanked out, till they decided to suspend me, which note this makes my second suspension of my website within the 5 month period. Yes I was going to give up at a point as it was extremely frustrating for me to keep on re-building the website but 000webhost and I can to an understanding it was a huge mistake and they have un-suspended my account since then and the rest is history as I make further and further progress on things! The site is getting closer and closer to being finished but it takes time and I rather not rush the job as this is a big project working on a website that's now become a huge thing, I want to do the job right first then having to keep on fixing stuff on the website every time. However I am very much excited for the finish of the website, it has been as long coming for this website to finally be stable... It's been a pain in my butt!  LOL

Technology Problems Today....

           As you all know, I tried going back live for podcasts and did some hard stress testing on Twitch and it did well up to the point it was dropping frames like crazy and I didn't have the chat was so quiet and I had peeps in the chat didn't really say anything but one of my own moderators so, I closed down my channel and I have made the decision to remain an Audio ONLY Podcast from here on out and I made a vouch that I would never go back to video broadcasting and what did I do? Go back on my word I wouldn't broadcast again and I feel kind of stupid to be going back when I said I was completely done with broadcasting. Plus I am quite busy with podcasts, the website, going to events, blogging almost on a regular basis, so it would be hard to fit it into my very busy and hectic schedule.recently as projects, I mean new "Reality TV" Shows keep popping up and the list keeps on going and going. Was it a mistake trying to return to casting? Yes. Do I miss it? Yes. But do I got the time to do it? No. I am just busy as heck right now to even think of making a return to cast again but I think about the friends I made over the years and very thankful for it.


            So what does this mean for Everything About Reality TV? Well, I am planning on continuing on with the Audio ONLY and recording the podcast  I will keep up with it and plan on adding on more shows to the list when new shows come up. The collaborations will be pumping out soon enough when the site is back up and operational again....  I wanna go back to the schedule I had before I started all this mass chaos. I want to make the right decisions for Chris B On The Web, not the wrong decisions and I feel like I've made the wrong decisions recently and it sure as heck don't look good on me to make dumb and naive decisions. i feel stupid enough to make this big mistake and hopefully I learn from this and move forward with the plans as CBOTW isn't out of the hot water it has been in for months with the no website situation for the past 5 months, soon to turn 6 months as of September of next month.

The Future Plans of ChrisBOnTheWeb.com Announcement

            Here is the announcement for the future of ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and what I have planned with the website in the very nearby future of it returning up to the final months before the domain expires and I make that more permanent move the permanent provider for here on out with the future. 


             As you know I have been with 000webhost from the get go and moving to that other provider and as you know I got suspended for no specific reason and here is the actual plan of attack from here on out. I am moving back to 000webhost as it has proved to be fine for me even with the 1 hour sleep a night until I can move to the more permanent home at the end of this year. I know you guys already probably figured out by now I sometimes despise the provider but beggars cannot be choosers and I just gotta deal with it till end of the year, so it is what it is. what it is, I gotta get use to it from here on out and deal with it till the move in 2019 to the more stable provider. So yes the website is coming back in due time between now and the end of the year till it is time to make the big move over to another platform and I will be talking to my current provider to how long till the domain will be available to re use under a different provider. That is on my plan of attack with the website and I appreciate your patience over the last 2 months of no website but glad you guys are keeping up with the blogs on the blogger page and the respected podcasts pages for both Everything About Reality TV & The CBOTW Show. 


               Give me about a month to a month and a half to re-build the website do a Closed BETA Test then I am going to launch and just going to fix any issues as we go along. With the move back to 000webhost, it means, the chris@chrisbontheweb.com doesn't exist no longer so the email you guys can contact me on is chrisbontheweb@yahoo.com which I kept opened in case something like this ever happened and was the best move I ever made with not deleting the email. Once the website is back up and running, hopefully it doesn't become a problem again, but I know I can rely on 000webhost from here till the move over to the more permanent home.

What Can I Improve Operations @ Chris B On The Web Studios?

                I know this season was an appalling mess, very unorganized and unprofessional if you ask me. But I did the best I can to fix the situation and try and keep up but I know you guys were very understanding on some of the situation this season, but I want to do better and improve on my organizational skills and operations around this studio. So what can I do to improve?


1) Plan ahead of time, have a schedule that is actually going to work for me and this way the content is going to be out not the following week like this season ended up happening half the time during the season coverage. When out of town like I was this year, I need to re-schedule ahead of time as well and have an alternative day ready.

2) Holidays, that was the problem too, I wasn't ready to handle the holidays and the content at the same time, I need to utilize my calendar both on my phone, my computer and of course my calendar I have, the physical calendar I carry on the daily basis. 

3) Maybe schedule podcasts later, like 9 pm EDT? 8 pm seemed to not work in the past, so I think I need to adjust the times again as 8 pm isn't working out at this point I am going to change the scheduling around. 

4) Blog posts will have 2 theme days, First Monday of the month, Weight Loss update, and Thursdays, Throwback Thursday story.


                 So that it my plan moving forward with trying to improve things and making things run more efficiently and effectively, I do not want to disappointment you guys again and want to start making things up to you guys for the failure in production of the podcasts especially which has been a fail royally but in the end I am glad you guys stuck by me through the thick and thin of things. 😊

Chris B On The Web Events 2018

                Good Morning! In today's blog post, I will be talking about the events, I am planning for this year and I realize I should of posted it up before the Maple Fest last week but it was a last minute decision to go to it but I will include it in the schedule this year. Without further ado, here is this years schedule and trust me I am really excited:

                 That is the scheduling for for this year, as you can tell in the schedule I have added back the Autism Celebration 2018, I am back bigger and better then better then ever before for that event. Also I am planning on going back to the Port Perry Santa Claus Parade this year as well. It is exciting trying out a different event and it is what I do when the weather is nice outside but also going back to an event which dates back to the original roots of Chris B On The Web so hope you guys enjoy all the events I have scheduled for this year and there is always room for growth!

ChrisBOnTheWeb.com Update

           You're all wondering, why the hell is the site taking so long to re-launch ChrisBOnTheWeb.com? Did I quit rebuilding it? Is the project on hold? Was it scrapped? Well I will answer it with a No, it is still being worked on, it is just slower then usual. The website is not scrapped or on hold or I quit the re-building process. Let me tell you there are two of us fixing the site behind the coding of the website and like I said in yesterday's blog post, I was behind on podcasts and let me say after yesterday I am officially caught up to the Friday episode. The schedule I have each and every week it just not allow me to have time to record right now.  

         
             Like I said from the get go, that I have no timeline to the re-launch of the site as I have said time and time again, the podcasts is what takes the longest time to put together, each and every season, has so many episodes that need to be placed back onto the website. So right now, I cannot even tell you how much longer the site will take as I am probably at least, almost half way, maybe half way now, I would think I am about near or at the half way mark at this point of the process. Also I have been testing, as each and every page is done, making sure of the SEO is set up the way I want it to look. So between the coding process, I am constantly testing closed site and I have opened the website a bit, I won't lie, I have been teasing you guys and I have probably said it time and time again that I have opened the website. For those who have seen the site open a tad, hope you like the tease of what the site will be when it is fully opened and up and operating. Please do note I am back with my former provider 000webhost, I transferred the site work back there due to the IP Bnanning tool does not work on the other provider so I am back on 000webhost and yes the site will be asleep but it will go down for an hour a day as of 3 am EST. Come January I will be moving over to the more permanent home for CBOTW.


             What is going to happen when the site is finished? Well I was thinking of a closed BETA Testing to my former Moderators of the group, so they can help me with finding bugs and problems on the site. Then the site will closed again for fixing any of the bugs on the website, followed by a 12 hour Open BETA for one more quick session to test again, then the site will be closed up for the final bug fixes before the site re-launch is officially announced and the countdown begins then finally the site launches and I will fix any of the site issues on the fly once launched if any do occur or you guys find any, please report them to webmaster@chrisbontheweb.com

I Truly Need To Be More Organized With Everything Involving CBOTW!

               I haven't been ever since just before Easter, not the most organized person in the entire world recently, however, I am wanting to rectify all of the issues and lack of organization fixed and fast, I do not want to lose the fan base whatsoever and this year I have had tons of love and support this year so far so I know you guys are being patient and yes I am still new to the podcasting world but this is ridiculous of being not on schedule. I will explain a few of my faults.


              First fault I would like to note is when the week leading up to Easter Sunday, I was away from the studio quite a lot over the course of the week and I didn't schedule things too well. I could of released Survivor in the late Afternoon, which I was suppose to but I didn't. Next was the Big Brother Canada 6 RECAP, I had to re schedule with being away in Toronto and was aiming at Saturday afternoon to record and non of that was done. The next fault I made, was the week I was out of town at the Big Brother Canada Live Eviction which I cannot talk about production (Sorry!) but I was away for that and I just didn't recover from it since. Also note that was the time I was dealing with my back woes which you guys know a lot about by now, that has been a factor in  the scheduling has been extremely poor and I understand your frustration over it. Let me say I stayed up all night last night during the night to just get things done and plus I just couldn't sleep as I had a lot on my mind. Yes a lot of the things on my mind, is the website, being behind on podcasts, getting blog posts out, getting ready for the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers so there is a lot going on in my head 24/7.


               My first thing I want to fix the scheduling with the podcast as it was a mess and content out on time is my number priority from anything else with Chris B On The Web and hopefully by end of this week, I will have accomplish that goal with being on schedule as I enter the Finale Week for Everything About Reality TV Big Brother Canada 6 Recaps and I am planning to record this morning, edit as much as I can this morning, finish up when I get home then up in the evening before I am in bed. Then Thursday morning, back to the regular routine tomorrow morning with Survivor Ghost Island, lets hope podcasts.com lets me uploads. Then Friday morning recording it it goes up in the evening then next week is a new week! That is my plan and I plan to stick to it and start fixing what I have messed up little over a month ago.

The Plan & Future of Chris B On The Web's Podcasts...

             I hate to make this announcement but it has to be done and it is one of the hardest announcements to make at this time but it has to happen. As you know, the CBOTW Podcasts are on TuneIn.com, ITunes & Player FM and Podcasts.com is where the RSS Feed is from. Podcasts.com is the main feed which is fed to the other 4 platforms. So as you know by social media aka Twitter, I couldn't upload to Podcasts.com and frankly, I am was not one bit happy and it doesn't look good on me and for those who were on the platforms that were subscribed I feel bad for you guys not getting the CONTENT you wanna hear. 


         So what is the plan for the nearby future? Well with the website now not in limbo and I am on a more sturdy web builder for right now at least, till end of the year till i move to the more permanent home, this website will have to do for now and I don't mind it at all, whatsoever, it stalls the time from one site to another. But back to the talk about what if Podcasts.com goes down on me again in the nearby future where I cannot upload a podcast to their website. Well the plan is ChrisBOnTheWeb.com will always be the alternative website for the content and it is guaranteed of being up 24-7 and you guys can always check on there if you do not see a podcast up with podcasts.com, TuneIn, ITunes or Player FM. There is my website which is the heart and soul of CBOTW and always will be the heart and soul. 


           Please note that I did email Podcasts.com support right away to make them aware of the situation and that I couldn't and I am nothing but thankful for their quick and effective response to my email so things can be figured out and resolved quite quickly.  This is the plan for the future of CBOTW and I plan on changing things around so everything is still coming out as normal, but just will not be on the 4 platforms if I cannot upload it to the platform. So this is the move I am taking for right now, If I need to tweak in the nearby future I will be sure to let you guys know before anymore changes are made, it was quick on the spot this happened.

My Bucket List!

                 Today I want to write about my bucket list, what I would like to do, go to, to accomplish in my life. Trust me there is a lot on my list, I will even include the ones that have been accomplished on this list today as well. This year I set out this year to accomplished and I think I did a bang up good job with this list as well. But anyways enough of me rambling here is my list with both already accomplished and things on my list I want to accomplish as well. 

Things I Have Accomplished:

- Go to a Big Brother Canada Premiere- Got To Do that this year!

- Run a Successful Podcast/Podcasts. Got both Everything About Reality TV & The CBOTW Show has not only picked up in late 2017, but people have emailed about the podcast a few times. Also, was the start of the second podcast thanks to CMT Television Network for coming to me about Covering Music City each and every year! This year has been the year of the podcasts for me. 

- The Website has doubled in views it was always just below 1000, like 700 or 800 views a month, then getting about 1000 to 1100 views a month and now its beyond 2000 views a month, so the website has been very active recently. 

- Rebuild Chris B On The Web from the ground up with very little help, with the team being disbanded entirely, I went into a very long and lengthy rebuild and hoping my June 26th, 2018 I will take Chris B On The Web off the re-build and everything is back up and running once again.

Things I Want To Accomplish: 

- Big Brother Canada Live Eviction (April!) Been to the premiere, now I want to see an eviction and what goes down at the Live Eviction!

- Advertising on my podcast. Almost had advertising but going to be working hard to get advertising on them eventually! Another thing on my bucket list.

- Go Back To School for Web design and evolve CBOTW into the main hub for my web designing! I am working on planning on this big goal.

- Move Out On My own. I wanna live in my own apartment and be on my own and show my independence.

- I never really talk about this much but I want to settle down and have a girlfriend, maybe eventually start my own family in the future. 

- Go back to Grand Bend Ontario for Fireworks. I am planning to do that this year with my dad! Cannot wait to go back for the Fireworks for Canada Day!

- Vancouver & Vancouver Island: I wanna see the West Coast  in western Canada. It is a long shot to it ever happening but hey it is on my list.

- Boston and Maine, USA. I wanna see Boston, Fenway Park, the state of Maine as well. It is in the future plans to go down that way on a holiday, my family and I have talked about it.


                  There is my bucket list and I know it is very lengthy post, sorry about that! But I still got a lot on my bucket list what I would like to do, being on my own, etc but I cannot do everything at once but never say never and in the future, I will update the post in a new post once something is updated.

I'm Learning, I'm Trying New Things Out!

               This year has been a great year, not just because I have become a successful podcaster but the fact I have tried new things lately and I am proud to say, it feels great to have tried new things. Yes I realize the blog posts haven't been consistent but I am truly trying to bring out the blogging content to you guys as much as I can. 


                I have learned so much about scheduling, keeping to a timetable with regards to the podcast side of things recently. I have either been a day behind or right on schedule. I know there will be a day where there will be 3 podcasts in a day due to the fact I will be out of town either Apr 5th or Apr 12th, 2018 out in the city of Toronto with my former Staff Dave. But other then that, I am very much on schedule with the podcasts. Now website wise, I have learned so much, when I tinker with the website the favorite icon at the top of the website disappears, goes to 000webhost logo or blank. So what I have learned is I have to remove the physical file from the site, re-uploading the icon once again and yes the icon is 100x100, then it works once again. I am not sure if it is a web builder issue or if it has to do with the size of the icon that is beyond me but I figured out a quick fix. Also this week I have been testing out the chat feature but obviously it has been removed as it wasn't getting many hits but thats OK with me, however, I learned through fixing glitches and bugs on the website like turning off the sound for the chat messages, figuring out the size within the code in the back end as well. 


                   Finally for today's blog I have finally learned to try new things out and as you guys know The CBOTW Show Podcast has popped out of nowhere recently as I made the announcement that it has joined the list of Podcasts on ChrisBOnTheWeb.com and I thought, you know its been nearly 2 years now since starting Everything About Reality TV, so I thought, I got the offer to RECAP Music City from CMT, why not. At first I said no thanks as I had enough on my plate but as of now, I am grateful to be doing it. I shouldn't be afraid to open up and try new things. I just said on Twitter, I am open to advertising on either my website or any of the 2 podcasts, I am running right now. I shouldn't be afraid to try new things and if it doesn't work out then thats fine, but if it does thats great. I am glad I am now open to trying new and innovative things!

Chris B On The Web Is LIT!

            Chris B On The Web & Everything About Reality TV has grown so much in the past 3 months. As for the podcast this is one of my favorite season of them all as I have connected with so many other Big Brother Canada & Survivor Ghost Island Fans, this is actually my favorite season to cover but don't get me wrong, I loved covering every season. Not only this season but between the end of this season and next season, this podcast will be very much still active after both shows are done, but I will not say what the surprise till later. 

              I have never had this much love and support for this podcast and the fact the podcast has surpassed it's 100th episode and now on it's way up with more and amazing episodes! I know I can be sarcastic sometimes and funny but that is what makes the podcast what it is today. Also whenever my right hand snow man Larry pops on the numbers go up and I know you guys enjoy listening to what he has to say and hes become more and more interactive and we always seem to be talking about this podcast whenever we are on Skype chatting or in person. 


                This year alone Chris B On The Web has peaked over 1000 views since the month of December, it could be before that too but I am so overwhelmed on the growth of the website, the podcast and looking at the counter each and everyday and it is so amazing to see the success it has been wanting to get for the past year and a half now. It goes to show I really worked hard in the last year and an half and I never gave up, I kept on going when the going got rough, I just kept on moving and a grooving and it has shown that I have finally become a success in Online Media, not saying I didn't see success as a YouTuber, but what I mean is I went on my own for a certain reason and this plan was a huge success and was the smartest move I ever made and I have no regret leaving YouTube or dissolving the team I once had. However I am thankful for the loyal staff who stuck by me and were there for me through the thick and thin of things and they know who they are. This year is truly the year of success for Chris B On The Web!

2018 is The Year of Success!

              I was reminded by my friend Dave, that I've been on a crazy adventure, from YouTube to the Audio ONLY Podcasts and this has been a dream of mine which has truly become a dream come true and I am doing something I am very passionate about and I can consider myself a super fan of Reality Television as I live and breathe it each and every week especially with me doing recaps several times a week and who'd think it would become very popular. I do got plans for the fall, adding another TV Show to the list of the recaps but that is for later on to add. This year so far has been so successful in the last year and 5 months of the podcast running on Audio ONLY, it is so surreal to watch a podcast become a success, not only the podcast but the blog posts and interviews I have done with people, it's become such a wild and crazy adventure but I love every moment of doing it. 


                 Within a year, I went over double the views I had a year ago and it is just so amazing to watch the growth rapidly and fast. It is overwhelming but in the same way it makes me smile to see the growth but not only that, it's the feedback from you guys the greatest fans I have in the entire world. I appreciate the positive feedback given, I've not had any really negative feedback from you guys. When I said on social media 2018 is going to be the year for me in the way of success, I meant it and I think this year being in our 3rd month of 2018, I think it's been very successful so far as I people are reaching out to me to collaborate with me and other email which I cannot talk about until this is confirmed it is happening but I am excited to see what will happen for the remainder of this year. However please note that there is still plenty of 2018 left and lots of collaborations to come on the list and one interview as well but I am excited to what is to come. I've already been talking to the person about it and in their ear about hopefully Late April into May to record the podcast and get it out to you guys. I don't really know the schedule as of right now, but got a small idea how it will look but hopefully soon I can figure out the scheduling so this way I can bring it out to you guys soon.  Finally I am really proud on how far things have progressed and I am nothing but proud of the accomplishments I have made over the course of the last year and a half since doing everything on my own and I got no regrets doing things on my own with minimal to no help anymore and I am nothing but looking forward to the future.

Where Have I Been Since ChrisBOnTheWeb.com Re-Opened?

             I know the blog has been very quiet in the past 4 days and I admit and you can tell, I've been tweeting late at night that is one reason why I have been neglecting the blog lately and I do feel bad for not posting for 3 solid days which is not normal but here I am writing an update for you guys this morning and what is going on with me. 


              I have been extremely busy with the preparation of the 100th episode as that is my priority right now as the 22nd of February is coming and it's coming fast and the furious! That has been on the agenda recently along with the website now up and running as you know and it's been pretty active recently but not overly active since it's downtime for 3.5 solid weeks. I also have been dealing with no sleeping at night recently in the past several days, being up at night, my health and wellness has a priority right now as well, so I gotta balance my work load and sleep in order to stay on track and recently, this has been a factor in my performance with running Chris B On The Web recently. 


                The plan this week is to finish up the script for the 100th Episode, then test out periscope for the 100th episode which I only got 1 viewer but with the Facebook group, I got 12 or more views and my loyal Facebook group members love when I go live and I do get some interaction and the live broadcast will be on the group which can be found on chrisbontheweb.com on the right hand top side of the website next to my mug shot, ha-ha. Other then that I have been coming up with brand new off season podcasts, planning collab podcasts with other people, an interview coming up and I've had some people come to me about an idea, so I will be speaking to them soon as I set up the mix/minus to my mixer to take in Skype calls which will be the last step I need in order to take in Skype calls and able to record with it, especially when I get guests on the podcast. 


                  I am still around, just busy getting work done for Chris B On The Web, it is a never dull moment for me, always busy one way or the other or finding some kind of work to do with Chris B On The Web or if I got nothing scheduled to do, whether it is a blog post or podcast or any kind of written work, I spend time with the family or play some video games or watch TV/Movie on my leisure time but that is what I have been up to recently.

ChrisBOnTheWeb.com Is Back Up And Running Today!

               After 3 weeks of the that stinkin website down... LOL, it's back up finally and boy I had my concerns with it re-launching after quite the struggle with problems during the re-build process and it was an interesting experience working with problems left right and center but rest assure you, I never gave up at all and today marks 3.5 weeks of it being down is done... The wait is over, the site is up and running. In tonight's blog post I will highlighting and talking about the changes made to the website and why I made those necessary changes and also will be talking about what has stayed the same for the website.


               First the changes that were made to the website were the blog page which use to be under the tab "Blogs" which is no longer there, since I do not blog on the other website that offered me a spot but I pulled out due to circumstances. Next, I changed the contact page to an email address , due to abuse of the form and let me tell you, I think I honestly made a mistake putting that form up as it was nothing abused and spammed constantly so the email is directly on that page so I took some action towards it and I decided to pull the form off and replacing it with the contact email, hoping this abuse will stop and I think it will as I can block email addresses when there is abuse. So I got the full power. This also includes I got the power to "IP Ban" people who wanna be abusive within the website. I will not tolerate and I hate to bring this up on here but enough is enough. This website outage came at the right time, so I, the website owner or admin of the site can make things better, improve the quality of the website and I think I did that very well.  My image at the top of the website next to the banner and also the "About Chris" page image was also changed to that same image like the top of the website. Also updated my Bio on the About page to recent information and easier to understand then before. 


               What is staying as it is? Well first of all, I am leaving the podcasts. interviews under the On-Demand tab if you roll your mouse over top On-Demand when the website re-opens tonight it will pop up with interviews, if you roll interviews it will list the interviews I have done and so forth, so that hasn't changes whatsoever.  Home Page still the same, but other then that a lot of changes and tweaks made to the website has been made and trust me I am excited to see what you guys think of these changes that have made and hopefully this makes things easier for not just me but you guys as well!

I Need To Be Organized and Focused With Chris B On The Web

              I realize now, I need to be more organized with Chris B On The Web with the most important to get done to the least important. It comes along the line what is the most important on the list and of course I know podcasts and these blog posts are up there in the most important at all times as I need to keep you guys up to speed with content, so definitely it is on the list, however I have to put into consideration my website, the heart and soul behind Chris B On The Web that hosts a multitude of website only content such as interviews with my former staff, interviews with my fellow CICE Students from Durham College and plenty more ChrisBOnTheWeb.com website ONLY content coming this year as well. So to juggle all 3 of those it's not easy but I gotta stay organized,stay focused on the tasks at hand. Yes there is other work that needs to be done besides the website but these are the 3 most important.


                I know the last few days, you can tell on social media, I haven't been myself and for the first time in about a week I missed a blog post which is very much rare for me as I always have something to say on the blog here but I actually missed a day and usually I miss at least one blog post a week normally, as it is normally due to work load or just busy with my regular everyday life but I admit I haven't been very organized lately but I sure as heck am trying to stay organized as much as possible but at times it can be quite difficult of a task but if I wanna get things done, I do need to get things done and faster then it has been. 


                   So yes I do need to be more organized to getting things done and I am planning on using both my sticky note pad here on my computer but not just that, use my calender on a regular basis to help me stay organized and stay on track with everything going on with Chris B On The Web & ChrisBOnTheWeb.com
